OMG, as a Califoritalian, I can say one of our best meals here! Great Italian food! We didn't even have the well regarded pizza! Stuffed shells, lemon chicken, garlic balls! I look forward to next visit! Fa venire l'acquolina in bocca

My husband and I told her it was our first visit to JG and she was delighted to help us with any questions or concerns. The menu is huge and it offers something for everybody! I decided to start with the apple salad, which was huge! It was crispy, crunchy, and had just the right mix of ingredients. My husband ordered a small (12in) cheese pizza, and I decided to go with a small (12in) vodka pizza. I love vodka sauce but had never tried it on a pie before, man was it delicious!- Chef's kiss! My husband really enjoyed his traditional cheese pizza as well! It was great to find a new haven style pizza joint further into the state. They also serve Detroit style pizza which I'd be interested in trying next time. The only downside was not having room to try the italian ricotta donuts that look and sound amazing (which JG doesn't start serving till 5pm). I guess that means we'll just have to go back! 10 out of 10 for JG, we shall return!

We had the Chicken Joey which was so flavorful. The risotto was outstanding, so creamy and delicious. And the broccoli was tasty, covered in chopped garlic. We also had their new promotion of chicken cutlet meals - Brooklyn chicken which was a mild impression of Parmesan, but less sauce, and fresh mozzarella on top. And, a very strong taste of garlic, to be expected. The atmosphere is pleasant and we had a friendly and attentive wait staff.

I was told it would be about 20-25 mins. I drove there 20 minutes later and got into the parking lot. Which could be tight if it is busy. You walk down the stairs to find the pizza restaurant. The restaurant is cute and looks like it is run by a mom and pop. Inside there is seating to eat in. I told the nice girl in the front I was there for a pick up. Unfortunately, I had to wait in the restaurant for another 20-25 minutes. But they look they were busy and only two people was running the kitchen. I got my pizza home and I was pleasantly surprised it was cut in to small squares. The pizza was delicious and has a good sauce to cheese ratio. The wing was a bit saucy for my liking but it was good. I got a large pie and 10 wings which came to about 32 bucks, which was not bad these days. I think I found my new pizza joint, I would just wait a bit longer before going to pick up next time.

I ordered a medium pie: half sausage, onions, and peppers and half grilled chicken. They were not shy with their toppings and it was absolutely delicious. There was a plentiful amount of cheese and the meat was sliced into large pieces so with every bite you were sure to get a taste of everything. The venue is casual and there are a good amount of indoor seating and they have a fairly large menu, serving gyros, sandwiches, grinders, and a variety of appetizers. I am hoping to go back to eat there and try out more of their menu.

The staff was friendly & helpful but clearly very busy during our visit. We ordered a spicy meatball pizza, a cheese and mozz sticks. The pizza was definitely sauce focused with lighter cheese than you'd expect, but it was packed with flavor. The mozz sticks were a great starter. Our bill for the above with 1 soda & water came to about $70, not bad for 3 people. Overall it was a nice dinner out & some good zza!

So, when I clicked into Sally's website, I was bowled over to see they now have SEVEN locations with ELEVEN more on the way, including Garden City, NY and Boca Raton, FL. That's pretty impressive. Sally's thin crust New Haven style pizza is a state treasure and I've always enjoyed it wherever I've had it. And today, I had a few slices of their fantastic pizza in a new location for us -inside the West Farms Mall near Jordan's Furniture of all places. Our lunch experience was great, starting with Bianca...our exceptional server. She was so outgoing and attentive, and checked back on us three times without ever being intrusive or an annoyance. We had a simple lunch, splitting a salad and a ten-inch pizza. The Wedge Salad ($14.75) was a big portion of three big iceberg lettuce wedges, charred tomato, Grana Padano cheese, crispy pepperoni, red onion, and a creamy Italian ranch dressing. We decided to skip the grilled bread croutons. What a nice salad! Super fresh lettuce, tasty tomatoes, a healthy sprinkle of pepperoni crisps that reminded me of crumbled bacon, and a great creamy dressing. Our 10" pizza (also $14.75) came with two toppings and we added meatballs and onions. It was thin crust New Haven style perfection. The sauce, the cheese, the cardboard thin crust, the toppings -everything was great. Late in our meal, a young father and his son came in and sat down in front of us. The boy seemed to be 5 or 6. Bianca impressed me again with the way she interacted with the boy, engaging him in conversation, and just being so nice and sweet with him. Well done, Bianca, Well done, Sally's.
