Owner graciously met me downstairs, removed item from my car and took the time to inspect the item and point out the "gem" I procured as he compared my lounge to the "prefab won't-last-five-years chaise lounges of today. He asked questions on where the item will be stored (high traffic va low traffic areas of home) and when i answered he provided a plethora of fabrics to consider. Most importantly, he did NOT expect full payment that day! Whew!! What a relief. Starting a new business is expensive so not having to make full payment before work commenced made my day. Chair is absolutely a transformation. Comfortable and I can't wait to use as a prop. Love the oatmeal color I chose.

The years had not been kind to the chair, fabric needed to be replaced, padding worn and arm of the chair completely broken. Rich was great from start to finish. He was able to help us find the right fabrics and bring life back to the chair - looks good as new and still holds that antique quality they just don't make anymore! On my most recent trip, I purchased the peach rings with tajin, mango chili taffy, fat free coffee flavoring, supplements, and home decor. I noticed that the aisles were really cramped especially walking through with a cart; it will not fit two carts so if there is another person in the aisle, there might be a cart accident lol. Cashiers has been pretty friendly so far. This is the closest HG to me so I'll be frequenting it.

Everything from reupholstery to commissioning of brand new furniture, pillows, slipcovers...you name it. When I say every single piece of work has been flawless, I'm not exaggerating. Rachel delivers her work on time, at remarkable value, and is capable of virtually anything you can dream up. A recent example: we have a beautiful George Nakashima table and have always admired the leg support construction. We asked Rachel to build an art gallery-style bench with the same type of support. She simply looked at the table when she was here and, a few weeks later, delivered a stunning Nakashima style bench with exquisite black walnut legs. If I pointed to this bench and told you it was Nakashima, you would believe it. If you have furniture building or upholstery work of any level of challenge, Rachel will be the best phone call you ever placed.

The place itself is intriguing I guess, but I was just overwhelmed and didn't enjoy sitting there at all. The final touch was that their point-of-sale is on dialup and from a hundred years ago, so it's slow and they have a credit card minimum of $10. I bought a Sundance McKinley 680 series hot tub early 2021. I was told it would take a couple of…read moremonths, however, it was further delayed. Nick Von at the Avon CT was nice enough to deal with. When I was told about the delay, he offered for me to cancel the order and get a refund. I chose to wait. The hot tub was delivered in Sept 2021. Aaron (install tech) was great, he responded via text during off hours and was very accommodating. Aaron has since left Superior. The spa needed a few services as some jets weren't working properly. They fixed them under warranty. I really like the hot tub, it's great. However, here are my issues: Once the hot tub is in, Superior doesn't offer any other services. They have no water testing capabilities. As a new hot tub owner, I was lost when it came to water chemistry. Honestly, when I received advice from Superior regarding the water, it only made it worse. Superior's servicing is done by a 3rd party out of Massachusetts. The 3rd party really doesn't care about customer service. For example, there was a recall on my spa just over a year after installation. The 3rd party gave me a difficult time about when they were coming to service it. I wanted to be present. The 3rd party was inflexible and was more concerned about their schedule than customer satisfaction. I've been to Scarritt Pools and Spas (they sell Hotspring spas) in Bristol CT many times, they offer free water testing and they tell you EXACTLY what chemicals to add and how often. I've been the Scarritt several times in a week, they are happy to help. They seem to be a one stop shop with much better customer service. Despite being happy with my Sundance hot tub. From a customer service view, I should've bought my hot tub at Scarritt.

I worked with…read moreMary in the Avon store and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various products. 2 days ago, I had an issue with one of the LED light fixtures, which cause my spa to lose water. I called the store and spoke to Nicholas. He was very responsive and had a technician out the next day to resolve my issue. The technician was very experienced and even offered me some great advice on another project I am working on. It appears the fixture was secured too tightly during the initially build. Nice job.
