"Down by the Old Mill Stream Where I first met you" (Mills Brothers) When you drive around the Old Mill Pond Village Complex, your eyes are met by one of the largest and most impressive collections of outdoor furniture and colorful outdoor accessories I have ever seen. Brilliantly colorful Adirondack chairs, dazzling wall art, planters, lawn spinners, gazebos, lawn décor, and more are everywhere. Not only is he inventory beautiful, but there is so much of it. And when you go inside the buildings, you'll pretty much have the same experience with different goods like furniture, housewares, candy, jarred foods, toys, stuffed animals, lamps, birdhouses, candles, clothing, kitchen gadgets, soaps, health and beauty aids, the massive variety of things to buy never ends. It's like the greatest county store you've ever visited taken to the tenth power on steroids. We had a blast walking through the Village Complex, chit chatting with the friendly staff and bought some candies for the grandkids. We'll be back to get some lawn spinners or lawn accessories once we're done with the weeds and landscaping. If you haven't visited here, I strongly recommend that you do. My mom and I were looking for a good spot to go Christmas shopping, and after receiving a recommendation about Old Mill Pond Village, we decided to take the drive up. We're so glad that we did! What an amazing hidden gem for all things Christmas. Everything is quality made, and our style is Americana/country, so this was right up our alley. If I had to refurnish my house again, I would come here in a heartbeat! We found so many nice Christmas decorations, and I certainly didn't mind paying a little bit higher prices for quality products. Any staff members we encountered were pleasant. We will absolutely be returning, and I can't wait to come back during other seasons to check out their selections! We easily spent 3 hours here combing through everything, and we couldn't believe the gigantic warehouse of furniture! read more

A shopping village? Count me in. You can't miss the large red old mill; historic and lovely, overlooking a pond. There were a few buildings and storage sheds; a great place to window shop. Most of the inventory were indoor and outdoor furniture; a couple of old houses were part of the shopping village. The general store had pretty much everything; soap, candy, lotion, jewelry, sauces, and various of other items. My favorite shop was the Christmas store; so many Christmas items to choose from and it's open all year. The only downfall was, it's super duper expensive. It is a cute spot to buy gifts for people because you can find some random and unique items. Overall, a decent place to spend an hour. read more

This is neat a little shopping plaza that from first look, appears to be a place that sells real cool Adirondack style chairs/gliders and country style furniture. But wait, venture into the General Store and it's like you're in a Vermont country store with old time candy, maple syrup products.... Keep going. This store continues for 3 levels. Giant recliners for sale take up some space, but there's cool stuff around every corner. The building with the restroom in it has rooms of well made country style tables, chairs and cabinetry. Note: You will have to walk through a couple rooms to find the bathroom. There's also a "Christmas Store" and a Department 56 store. If I had driven up to visit family- and had my own car, I would have dropped serious money here and bought a furniture piece. As it was- I spent plenty between all the shops. So much cute, fun and artistic gifts options plus all the hand crafted furniture! I loved all the holiday decor- they had so much Halloween stuff!!! Again- not flying friendly- but I bought something for my brother's house. I will stop here again next time I visit! My brother's house is 2 minutes from these shops! read more

This place has been one of my favorite "shopping experience" stops for at least 20 years now--spring, summer, fall, or winter. There's something for everyone (many, many things): furniture, lamps, florals, Polish pottery, braided rugs, rustic/primitive decor, women's clothing & accessories, cooking gadgets, candy, yard decor, Adirondack chairs...and I'm just scratching the surface here, people. You will want to wear comfy shoes and bring all your credit cards. Be prepared to browse for hours. (One article I've read in the past say there's 55,000 square feet of retail space. Is say there's at least that!) This place, while massive, retains a charming and quaint atmosphere, covering a sweet little property that includes at least 6 buildings of varying sizes and floors. There are buildings where every turn you take, you're in a completely new room filled with potential treasures and must-haves. While I love Old Mill Pond Village at every time of the year, it's incredibly magical for me at Christmas. The property is the definition of old-timey Christmas village, with a full two-story building (and an attached structure) filled with Christmas decor arranged in groupings (the Christmas building is open year-round, but I stay, um, mostly away from it til at least October to keep it special for me). You'll find things here that you won't find elsewhere. It is light years away from mall- and big box store-shopping. The folks here are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I always find something perfect for someone special, something to put on our tree that reminds me of my childhood, or some sweet thing to add to our indoor or outdoor spaces. As a person with mobility issues, I'd say this place isn't for wheelchairs or even walkers. The walking space can be snug, and the flooring changes in many areas (up/down a step, a graded slope here and there). A cane would be possible, but with great care. I leave my walking-assistance things behind, wear my knee brace, and rest regularly (there's usually a place I can sit when needed). I don't often get to the upstairs rooms, but sometimes I can do one set of stairs on a visit. Luckily there's so much to see on the ground floors, I don't feel I'm missing out at all! I dearly love to escape to this shopping village, and I hope you give it a visit, too. read more

So first off sorry to all the guys whos wives will be dragging them here but I wanted to put in this review. My wife loved the Christmas store. We walked threw all the stores on the grounds and they were all cool. I enjoyed the furniture in the back few storefronts very nice Amish built furniture. I'm sure we will go next year but it wasn't the worst shopping experience. read more

Enjoyed our spontaneous visit here while driving home from Massachusetts. Very quaint setting with lots of outdoor garden sculptures & furniture (Adirondack chairs, etc.). Multiple gift shop buildings selling country decor, soaps, ladies clothing, jewelry, Vera Bradley, Alex & Ani, children's toys, furniture, clocks, replica vintage tin signs and much more. I enjoyed the Christmas building the most...very impressive. Department 56 villages, Christopher Radko, Steinbach nutcrackers, large selection of mangers, string lights, wreaths, tree toppers, decorations, etc. Also enjoyed watching the fish and lazy frogs in the pond while sitting on a bench. This place was a complete surprise to me! I was visiting a friend who brought me to Old Mill Pond Village - she tried to describe it but couldn't really find the right words. I understand why now. It is so unique - the right words don't exist. Each of the buildings is special and beautiful, as are the grounds (kind of a grey, rainy day when we went, but still really spectacular). I happened to be looking for a piece of Polish pottery -- they had a beautiful collection, and the prices were not overly steep. The Christmas barn is amazing - I was there in October and it was so lovely to begin the Christmas season surrounded by thousands of ornaments (literally something for everyone - I picked up an adorable ornament for my general contractor!) and displays. Also, this is the place to go for real hand crafted furniture -- so beautiful and so well made! Of course, the icing on the cake was the staff. In every place we shopped, people were clearly happy to be there, and proud of what they were doing. It was a perfect experience (well, except for the weather, but I think that gives me an excuse to go back.) As a side note: I feel sad for the reviewer who said she wouldn't get out of her car because she saw flags she didn't like - she truly missed out on a place that envelopes you in happiness, and she sounds like she could use some happiness. read more

We come here about once a year for gifts and unique items. They have a great variety of merchandise for the home and the furniture is well made and beautiful. They lost a star because every year its the same man and woman (? Owners) behind the register, and they barely crack a smile. Really, lighten up, it's a great place, but they border on rude. read more

Do not come here unless you have a couple hours to spend!! This place is literally a village of buildings filled with merchandise. From Christmas to outdoor furniture they have it all, Blown away by the amount of merchandise - EVERYTHING you can think of from lamps, furniture, kitchen gadgets, clothing, jewelry, signs, shelves. Even though they are family owned, they do not honor their own coupons. I went there today with a 40 percent off coupon that states use by Dec 24 and they said I couldn't use until Thursday. Drove out of my way and will not return. The owners were very unreasonable. read more
