The back of the store is the thrift clothing section. Everything looks to be in excellent shape. There's also records, shoes and purses. I saw a Dior coat, and some items by Burberry and by Alexander McQueen. They are selective about their selection of items they accept. There isn't any of that awful stuffy smell. It feels and looks like everything is brand new. It's easy to look and touch things without the fear of everything falling. This store isn't stuffed at all. I called to verify this was the real case and it is. She thought the upside was you only have to do it once. The Salmon Brook Shops is a store of a large collection of antiques in Granby. I stopped by on…read moreTuesday afternoon. This is a must visit for anyone who appreciates antiques. There's so much of everything in here. There's furniture, books, toys, fine china, jewelry, paintings, tools, etc... I was a bit nervous walking around, you have to be really careful not to knock anything over, as I'm sure it would cause a domino effect. There's so many delicate little things piled on each other, the tiniest swing of an arm could cost you a big embarrassment of a situation. My favorite are the paintings. The fine China they have is also beautiful and in excellent shape. There was an all wood rocking horse, that you could tell was well loved, but still has more love to give. There was only one other lady there browsing while I was there. It can't be good having too many people at the same time in such a tight space, with fragile items everywhere. If you love beautiful, well kept, antique items, I encourage you to visit The Salmon Brook Shops.

It was so good! Not too sweet either! The baristas were some of the nicest people ever! We chatted about the weather and this winter while they whipped up my drink. There's limited seating inside- just one table which was unfortunately occupied. They have a lot of outdoor seating which will be wonderful now that the weather is warming up. Apparently the back part of the building is an antique shop! I didn't get to check that out as I was heading to work! The building is super adorable, plenty of parking, and a beautiful outdoor seating area! Highly recommend!

It pains me to write this, but man my pistachio latte tasted like a burnt pan and was so not worth…read morethe price. I tried to drink about a third of it and couldn't do it. I just chucked it and went across the street to Dom's for an actually well-made cup of coffee. The pistachio flavoring also tasted expired. There was no point in drinking it. It wasn't even foamy. I can make something better at home with my De'Longhi machine. And the pecan caramel bun just tasted like I was eating butter. The place itself is intriguing I guess, but I was just overwhelmed and didn't enjoy sitting there at all. The final touch was that their point-of-sale is on dialup and from a hundred years ago, so it's slow and they have a credit card minimum of $10. I could not in good conscience recommend The Coffee Trade.
