I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but after receiving a text from the office asking me to leave one, here it is. I was referred to this periodontist by my dentist for crown lengthening, but my procedure was canceled twice because they claimed my blood pressure was too high at 124/99. Afterward, both my doctor and a new periodontist told me that reading was not dangerously high and should not have prevented treatment. What was especially frustrating was that I never even spoke directly with the surgeon -- the dental assistant was the one who informed me the procedure could not be done. After being sent home twice, I then received a bill in the mail anyway. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a complete waste of time and money. read more

Dr Bashiri is by far the best periodontist I have ever been to. He is kind gental and just a master at what he does. He even calls in the evening the day of your surgery to ask how you are doing. His staff are very friendly and helpful read more

My office experience was very organized and clear. The office manager was very attentive and helpful. She understood I needed a rough estimate of my cost for treatment. Dr. Bashiri definitely is knowledgeable. This was a consultation, and his assessment of my needs was probably very clinically accurate. Review 3 My final review for this wonderful Dental Office. The last operation needed was the implant post emplacement. After being here multiple times, I had no trepidations about the surgery. Dr Bashiri got me in the chair and went through the entire numbing process. Which I was used to by now. And then began the procedure. It is a strange thing to experience, having a ratchet wrench in one's mouth. But not one I wish to experience soon again. As uncomfortable a feeling as it was, it didn't hurt. I felt no pain during any of the procedure. And I think that is a testament to the skill and knowledge of Dr Bashiri. Dental work, dental surgeries, implants. All of that can be incredibly daunting and very scary to have done. But Dr Bashiri and his staff made it a much better experience than I could have ever imagined. I don't understand how this Denist recieved a 4.9 review. Today I called to schedule an appointment, phone rang then hung up on, I thought this was an error so I called again it happen again. Clearly this Doctors staff feels the they don't need patients, or it could be they don't know how to answer a phone. Either way not a good first impression. It is 11:25 PM the day of my bone graft procedure. I, like I'm sure many who go through a dental implant with a bone graft was very nervous as the week of the procedure approached. I can say with all honesty that Dr. Bashiri is the best. He has the human touch. Made me feel very comfortable in a situation I was dreading. He was gentle as possible. And guided me through the process by letting me know every step he was doing and re-assuring me things would turn out just fine. I felt cared for and also felt that he was expeditious to and made things as smooth as possible in a manner that was timely. I was in and out and when it was all over I felt that I had been worried for nothing. It had been a great journey for the better. The procedure is not something you want to do many times, but I was glad that the one time I did it, I felt the right person did it. As I recover I feel very minor soreness in the area Dr. worked on. This is my first dental implant and I think highly of Dr. Bashiri, and his recommendations. I researched periodontists in my area before selecting him. As it turns out, he is the guy my regular dentist refers to. Then I find out my wife's dentist goes to Dr. Bashiri for her own periodontic work! I was really nervous and not looking forward to the surgery, but Dr. Bashiri made me feel more comfortable; he has a gentle and respectful demeanor. He is quick, thorough, and caring - even calling me the next evening to make sure I was doing ok! Additionally, everyone he works with seems to be just as nice as he is. Reeks of cigarettes anytime he gets close to you. His hands permeate the smell of cigarettes through his gloves and face mask. No bedside manner either. Very cold and uncaring. Likes to walk away while you're talking to him with eyes closed and constant hating orders at you when there's tools in my mouth lol. 0/10 would not recommend this periodontist. I do really adore the front desk lady, she was so professional. The dentist assistant was so sweet too and her eye liner was so pretty and she charged my phone for me. But the dentist himself? Well he has about as much personality and caring as an egg. And ugh, I cannot get over how he just has such a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke and I was trying to suppress my gag reflex the whole time. How can a dentist smell that bad?? I'm sure he's a good dentist though if you look past all the other stuff like his personality and smell. read more

I was not happy to be getting oral surgery, however everyone, including the receptionist, assistant, and Dr. Bashiri, we're both professional and friendly, considerate and helpful. They sent initial paperwork via email and it was easy to fill out on my phone and it all actually worked easily! I had a unusual reaction to the lidocaine and everyone was appropriately aware, checking my blood pressure, bringing me a blanket and water, and being very appropriate for what was going on, and keeping an appropriate eye on me. I'm very appreciative in an era where people are "checked out" and either rude or uncaring. A very kind and efficient office. I'm impressed. That doesn't happen often. Terrible terrible terrible. Would not recommend coming. Nancy ( front desk) extremely lazy and doesn't want to do her job. She literally told me to call back twice because they were busy instead of taking my number down and calling me back. She also told me she couldn't help me locate my insurance and that I needed to do that on my own. Offered no assistance and acted clueless. As a person who works in administration in the medical field this is no way to treat patients and you are suppose to be of help. That is YOUR job. Lastly, the doctor himself was not that great and he actually did not do a thorough dum check. I went to another doctor to get an opinion and he pretty much told me everything Dr. Bashiri recommended was not needed. Also the other periodontist I went to see did a thorough gum exam on me.
