I asked for a pastel yellow and was told it didn't exist, only for him to later find the exact same shade. The same thing happened when trying to match a brown color--he made no effort to help and kept insisting it wouldn't look like the picture. The entire service felt uncomfortable, with constant whispering in another language that clearly felt directed at me. The work was rushed, careless, and came out awful. I visited today because I was sent a 20% off coupon sent to me for my birthday. When coming in I felt rushed even though it was slow. The lady completing my full set cut my nails a little shorter than my liking and after telling her she had an attitude about it but i didn't want to pay for something i did not like. When it was time to pay i was told my total was 105. I showed my 20% off coupon which should have taken 21 dollars off of my total but instead I was told my total was 95 dollars (only $10 off). I didn't feel like it was worth arguing so I paid the total and tipped. I won't be returning because of this. Transparency on prices is important to me and when i visit posh nails across the street i never have any problems using a promotion/coupon. Especially when it was sent directly to my phone. After posting this review on google the nail shop got their employees to fake rate them on google to raise their rating. I heard about this place because of my mom. I liked her nails, and I was like "what the heck let me try them out" I will say the salon was nice and all, but this is what startled me right here I show them a picture of what I want. I asked for French tip almond nails. In the picture the nails were long, but I wasn't going to get that length. It was gonna be short. The person from the front desks asks me if I want to pay now etc because they were about to close, so I said okay yes that's fine. He comes to me and tells me these nails are $90........ The nails weren't even a whole process of being designed. It was a simple French tip almond nail with pearls on each nail which I know add-ons cost extra (I'm aware). I would get and understand if the set costs up to 60-70ish bucks but $90? seriously? Acting like my nails have big croc charms on every nail alongside a painting mural or something. It was literally a simple design. To top it off the person doing my nails didn't put the pearls or bling on my nails that were on the picture and told me he didn't see it which it clearly shows on the picture, but I made him put what I paid almost $100 for. Idk but I'm not returning to this place. Ladies just be aware and make sure they're not overpricing you. They do good but make sure the price sounds reasonable for your nails. Lemme tell you somethin'... I am critical of nail salons because (a) I've had many bad experiences and (b) because I'm VERY meticulous about my nails not looking a mess when I leave the salon. Especially considering how nail prices have nearly doubled in the last 10 years. Anyhoo, I really really like Fashio. I've been going now since the spring and they never disappoint. My biggest drawback is that they are a 20 something minute drive from me and I don't always like the traffic on i10 between Houston and Baytown. The place is beautifully decorated and you can leave with a buzz or fully waisted; though I would NEVER recommend. But try 'em out when you can. read more

Two different technicians worked on my hands without even asking permission. One removed the polish- another applied the acrylic-the polish remover returned to polish them. She did not polish my nails to the edges. There were bubbles left in my polish, and five hours later it was peeling off. I contacted Kao who was apologetic and asked me to come back for correction - a half hour drive. The young man at the counter didn't know anything about it and seemed slightly irritated. The polisher came by told me I had to figure out the color. She then came over asked the color number. I couldn't remember, and the number I gave was not correct, so she walked off. I finally found it and she got the polish. She had an attitude while working, and made a rude remark about me not knowing the color. She started texting before my nails were dry. Gave a less than sincere apology without even looking up from her phone. Not going back. I spent over $100. I did get a good pedicure. read more

Ok the only reason I came here was because of Yelp. Well my experience was ok but I give it 1 star because my shellac nails are lumpy and the color is uneven. I thought it would come out decent but nope I'm not happy on how they look at all. The lady was nice and talkative but when you pay for a service and a little more for an upgraded manicure you think your nails would look amazing. Sorry I don't think I'm coming back. My friends had appointments made and they had to wait over an hour to be seen, then one lady was laughing at my friend and saying she couldn't do shilac..???? Uhhhh, what??? The color is so beautiful but the shape is not at all coffen, she didn't fill them in properly either. She made fun of my nails as well and kept saying it was my nails fault. Was visiting family and had the worst nail experience ever. Went in with a total of 6 people. Everyone of us was disappointed. Overpriced. I requested a dip manicure. I get this every time at my regular nail shop. They said it would be 55.00 not bad about average I assumed so I agreed. The man doing my nails was done in 20 minutes. He took longer taking off my previous polish. When we're finishing up I questioned when the "manicure" was going to happen. He did nothing to my nails except remove my old polish and re dip the new color. I asked about cleaning up my cuticles, buffing or filing them. He did none of that I was told if I wanted cuticles done that was 12 more dollars. I asked him then what did I pay for. He said well we charge to take off your old polish and you got new dip. So I paid 55 dollars for a polish change. WORST SERVICE EVER. This was basically a lie. My mom had a dip manicure too for 55 dollars and there was no polish for them to take off. So they basically lied. My friend got a 45 dollar gel manicure which again was just a polish at least her person put lotion on her hands for thirty seconds. My niece who is 6 I requested a gel manicure for her. Which I know is usually about 12-15 bucks. Never more then that. I was quoted 15. I agreed. So when we are going to pay another girl said 30. I said excuse me 30 to paint a 6 years old nails! I explained I was told 15. She then said we was wrong it will be 20. Don't even get me started on the one pedicure a group member did same service no actual pedicure just a polish and a foot soak. Save your money do not give this business your hard earned money. Our evening of pampering was nothing but a fail. They got us for 260 bucks. Really considering filing a complaint with the business bureau for their obvious price changing and lack of service for what you pay for. And to top it off it was my birthday treat to myself! One of the worse nail salon experiences ever. I could have done a better job at home. First..I walked in the salon around 5:30. It's a holiday and it wasn't packed. Didn't think anything of it. Did not get greeted. There were only 3 nail techs and they were handling customers. One guy approached me and asked what I wanted. I said I only wanted a manicure. He said it would be 20 mins. Okay. No problem. 30 minutes go by and I see people leaving. No one comes by to ask me if I am ready. I had to go up to another person to ask and they didn't know I wanted to get a manicure for me. Which is weird because I never have a problem at any nail salons. I wondered if it was because I was a guy. Let me also add that all of the nail techs today were men. Once I finally got in the chair..he acted as if he didn't know how to file a nail. I sat there and cringed and did all I could not to make a scene. Horrible file job. Horrible cuticle cleaning. Horrible nail cutting. I have been to this location a handful of times before and have had great service. Today was horrible. This was my first pedicure in months that I have had time to get so I was ready to splurge on some pampering. I arrived a little after 6pm and they close at 7:30pm so that's more than enough time to get a pedicure and manicure without being rushed. The lady they paired me with upsold me to a pedicure that had 15 minutes extra massage. Being 8 months pregnant that's all I cared about honestly. The entire time she was rushing, sighing, and throwing around whatever tools she was using. Typically when I get additional time for massages, they will start a timer or tell me they are starting. She didn't do any of this. What I received what just the basic pedicure. I could have just gone with their cheapest option and would have received the same service. Only differences were the lotion/scrubs she used. When she moved to my hands, I thought she was going to go back to my feet later. She took 10 minutes max to do my shellac manicure and she was done. Throughout this she also did the same thing with rushing, sighing, tossing her tools around when she was done using them. She then told me she was finished. I was confused but didn't argue. When I went to pay the gentleman at the counter told me it was going to be $120. I was confused as to why (because the last time I came here, I was only charged $25 for shellac on my nails) and asked for the breakdown. He said $60 for my shellac pedicure and $40 for my shellac manicure. I did speak up about not getting the massage for the pedicure I was paying for. So they took off $12 from the total. At the time I didn't pay attention that those two amounts equaled $100 and not $120. I called back on the way home and spoke with the gentleman who checked me out. He then clarified that my pedicure was $80 ($60 for whatever pedicure and $15 extra because of the shellac) and my manicure was $40. Then he took 10% off because I was complaining about the massage. He said he tried to tell me earlier but I wasn't listening. At no point during the interaction was he clarifying any of this and definitely never mentioned $80. I even remained quiet while paying and nothing. His response towards me questioning the amount I was charged was extremely rude and unnecessary. I'm not a child nor was I being disrespectful to this gentleman so I don't expect to be talked to like this. This experience is as definitely unlike anyone I have ever experienced at this location and it's disappointing because it took so long to find a good nail place after moving to Baytown but definitely will not be back. read more

I payed for a service that I didn't get. I asked for a full pedicure, the lady didn't even file my nails property she didn't do nothing to the bottom of my heels, the lotion was the only thing she put and it was just the worst nail experience ever. I told her If she could please turn on the Masage chair and she said "in a few minutes" (in a rude way) She never turned it on -.-! Then she gave me a price and when it was time to pay at the register her and the person at the cashier wanted to charge me an extra 5$ just because? They both started talking to each other upset when I said I wasn't going to pay that amount since it wasn't the original amount I was going to pay for. I was going to get a nail refill as well and didn't end up doing them just because how bad it was going. Decided to have my sisters 50h birthday here.. since my first pedicure here was amazing and the customer service was excellent. Management boosted about the free party room for 10 guest and the perks that could provide such as music. What they failed to mention.. until the guest were picking their pedicures was that the pedicures had to start off at 50.00 or more for being in that room. Took guy 15 min to figure out how to put music on and they had it so loud we couldn't enjoy the company.. had to ask several times to lower it before we decided to just turn it off. Then let's get to the service of pedicures.. we all got the same 50.00 pedicure.. but we all didn't get the same service from the technician. My sister wanted a red polish, technician put a gel color on her without putting under UV or top coat.. therefore by time we went for our next activity for the day we had to stop off for polish remover as the nail polish on her toes was already coming off. Then another guest had to keep asking for the treatments she saw everyone else getting.. asking for neck wrap.. a mimosa .. and to top it off the technician didn't do the orange slice sugar scrub on her... yet she paid for the 50.00 pedicure. Another guest ended up with polish on side of her toe and missed spots. It's like almost every technician was in a rush to get us out.
