Paraffin Wax and scrub pedi! My alligator feet needed some TLC! $50 for option 3 of the pedi menu. Not sure if the amt of time has to do with the number of people but I was there relaxing for a few hours. It was nice. Susan did a nice job and the chair worked good massaging my back. Amazed that they can't get someone to manage the phone and door and appointments. Told to call when I got there. The phone rang off the hook 3 times and then went busy after that. I just walked in instead of roasting in my car. They have no knowledge how to run a shop other than a walk-in business. Prices have all increased - $70 for and gel mani and a #2 pedi. Pedi was nice but the gel manicure chipped and peeled back within an hour. I'll try the many other salons before returning here. Oh, the dogs are still there drinking out of the pedicure water. I have been going to fashion nails for well over a year, maybe even two. Tony, Nancy, Lee, and all other staff do a fantastic job! They are all so kind, welcoming, and always remember me and my friend every other Monday! Nancy does a great job on my nails every time! They try and accommodate every design I have ever given them! Just like any acrylic nails anywhere, sometimes you chip a nail or paint can chip! It doesn't happen often, but I am rough with my nails! I made an appointment with Mya for a pedicure @ 10am. I arrived at 9:55, entered, was asked why I was there. I said I had a 10 o'clock appointment. I was told to sit while they spoke nervously in their native language. I could see Mya was giving someone a manicure. I was then asked if I wanted to wait until 10:30 so Mya could finish what she was doing. I said my appointment was at 10, I was told, no, 10:30. I said no, 10 to which I was then told well she's not ready, do I want someone else? I was so desperate for a pedicure that I said yes. I was then given Kelly who was pulled away from another client. I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, she simply started working on my feet. As more and more people came into the salon, Kelly quickly finished up my appointment. She actually did a great job with a basic pedicure. I was then rushed up to the cash register where a piece of paper was taped to the desk stating tips were cash only. I don't carry cash. Now I felt awful for not having money , I was told there's an ATM down the street. I went to get her tip wondering why I was going to a bank that wasn't mine therefore I would incur a convenience fee. TD bank would not even accept my bank card. I felt terrible but had to get to work. Poor Kelly, she worked hard but that is poor management that doesn't communicate the situation to customers before services are rendered. It was also about 100 degrees and it seemed like there was no air conditioning on + the salon reeked of garlic(?) Will not be going back. read more

Isn't a mani/pedi supposed to be relaxing? There was a little girl with her Mom sitting next to me getting pedicures. The 6-7 year old was watching a movie on full blast! I didn't want to be a "Karen" and complain. The salon should require that the customer wear ear buds as to not disturb others. read more

Went twice and my experience was good. Third and fourth time was horrible! Nail tech was completely oblivious (and barely spoke or understood English) made my cuticles bleed and then kept dousing my bleeding cuticles with acetone. I left with hands on fire and fortunate i never got an infection. Owner was hovering over nail tech to provide direction. The only Nail tech I liked "quit". I got a gel manicure last Friday, 12/17, and my nails came out perfectly (see first photo), costing $35 without a tip. However, by that Sunday afternoon (12/19), the nails I had done in black gel polish had begun to lift from the base and the entire polish came off. I called Monday, and asked for a 40% refund, as the issue was occurring on 4 of my nails (see next two pictures). I was told I would have to come in person for a refund, which was no issue. I just went to get a refund for only 40%, as my nails haven't even lasted a full week, and was told that I would not be getting a refund and they could fix my nails. I appreciate the sentiment, but I do not want the same black polish on my nails that caused the issue in the first place. Employees began to get upset, and when I asked who I spoke with yesterday that told me I would be refunded, a woman identified herself but said that money would be taken away from employees and was unfair. Went here to get dip done to my nails and it wasn't great. The staff was kind, but the actual result was AWFUL. They didn't even cut my cuticles, and left all the thick polish underneath my nails, and didn't​ clean around the edges at all. I had to ask for her to fix it. The next day two of my nails cracked (and I don't​ bite my nails or do anything strenuous for that to happen). I went back and got them fixed free of cost which is to be expected and the day after another nail broke. Dip nails are not supposed to crack AT ALL and are supposed to last three weeks or longer. Am a return client, and today when going in to have polish removed and French manicure of my nails, I felt as thou I was an inconvenience, and one not worthy of their time. My manicurist took care of my nails literally within 10 minutes, got up dismissed me, did not charge me and walked away leaving me to wonder what just happened and feeling as thou I was not worth the time and effort. Updating my review because I see some damning ones here. I returned yesterday for the $50 deluxe pedicure and it was the longest most relaxing one ever, especially for only $50. (You can get a cheaper one--there are 4 choices.). I did not have an appointment and got right in on a busy Friday evening. The tubs were clean and disinfected. (I saw them scrubbing them out and could smell the disinfectant.). The young woman I had was fantastic. This includes the paraffin wax treatment and a great foot and leg massage. I think I was there for 90 minutes. And my nails look great. I know that people who insist on tub liners can buy their own to bring with them to salons for about 30 cents a piece. And some even bring their own tools if they get pedicures often. I have never had a problem here and I often see women bring their young daughters there for pedicures. If you are in a hurry and on a budget I highly recommend this place. One drawback for some may be the owners' small dogs. If you are allergic to or afraid of dogs do not go here. read more

First time going here and my second time ever getting my nails done professionally. My first experience was 100x better than here... I'm sure they mean well, but I'm not feeling it. I go in and someone tells me to sign in on the sheet with my name and what I want. I start to do that when a lady calls me over to a chair (the place was pretty much empty, why make me sign in?) She asks me if I want one color or french. I say one color, French isn't really my thing. She insists on the French because it's good to try new things etc. I say again that I want one color but she keeps pushing the French thing so I figure well she really wants to do it and I'm a pushover so I let her. At some point a guy (the owner maybe?) walks by and comments how he's never seen me before. Long story short, the manicure was sloppy. I can see where the polish didn't go all the way to the edges and on one nail my old polish wasn't taken completely off. It was scraped off roughly, by the way. I paid with credit and she stared at the receipt as I was writing the tip. Very uncomfortable. I won't be going back. Edit: I'm only on the 6th day of this manicure and it's peeling already, that should tell you about the quality here... Gel lasts at least 2 weeks when done properly. read more

this place is ok- they seem clean and its a very large space to accomodate many clients all at once. Biggest down fall why i am giving this a 2 star is because it takes forever for them to do a mani and pedi. I have limited time, and when i go in i ask specifically if they can have my services done in a certain amount of time- not unreasonable amount of time - to which they are positive they can- and i ALWAYS walk out a half an hour to 45minutes late. i simply don't have that much time, and would have come back another day if they were could not get me out when i need. It has caused me to miss my children's bus more than once. My nail have always been done nicely, and this place is priced fairly, i just ask that if a client asks if they can be out in a hour and a half, please do your best to accomodate if you assure them you can get them out in time. read more

They said they could take me when I walked in but then I sat in the chair and waited for 30 minutes, I would've gladly come back if they had told me I was going to be waiting. They also didn't have a great color selection in my opinion. Other than that, they were THE best acrylics I have ever gotten. Update- ONE day in and my nails are already peeling. Total waste of time and money. Can we just talk about how this was one of the worst manicure experiences I've ever had? I drove all the way up to NH from Boston to visit a friend. She researched nail salons and this was the least worst choice (I refuse to use the word b-e-s-t) and made us appointments. Little did we know that meant that one manicurist would be simultaneously doing both of our manicures...how does that work, you may be asking yourself. Well, it really doesn't. The polish job is horrendous. My 5 year old niece would do a better job. Zero attention to detail, time spent doubt a thorough job, or making this an enjoyable experience. There's really not enough bad things I can say! Oh and while I am a dog lover, letting your dogs run loose in a salon and jumping on people's laps while they're trying to "relax" is not exactly enjoyable. Always a great experience here. Nancy and her husband have owned it for years, and really maintain a nice, clean salon, which is hard to find. They have more shellac colors then any place around, which is a huge plus because I love to switch it up. Love the multiple pedicure options like reflexology and hot wax. They even have pedicure chairs just for kids, with iPads to keep them entertained! My daughter just turned three, and I can't wait to bring her in with me. This is my "go to" nail salon...(Tony does great work, his wife Nancy and daughter Lee are great as well) I left disappointed on Friday...they were clearly busy, took me right away, I got the number 2 pedi and I realized (after I left) the tech never got the file to remove callouses! This is a major miss!(and never happened to me there) A major thing I needed it badly! Callous city! As a liscensed cosmotologist I can say this, save your money and go somewhere else. The owner is nice, the girl who did my nails was sloppy at best. The whole place needs a thorough cleaning and I'm tempted to contact state board. I'm very unhappy and already know I've wasted 25 dollars on a gel manicure that's going to come off in less than a week. She didn't follow the proper steps, didn't use a base, didn't dehydrate my nails and I couldn't find her liscense displayed anywhere.... Seriously... This salon HAD an amazing reputation, however when I went for a manicure that took 1 1/2 to 2 hours I was extremely disappointed. First off I waited for 45min before anyone came up to me to ask what kind of service I wanted. Then when I finally did get serviced the woman I had was in a complete rush. She was sick and kept sneezing on my hands. This is both utterly disgusting and clearly a health code violation. She then rushed my nails and they came out horrible. The paint was streaky, all over my cuticles, and was missing huge spots on my nails. The manicurist did not cut my nails and left out the massage part of the mani as well. Overall I honestly could have done a better job with my eyes closed. After everything, there was paint all over my hands and they still made me pay. I pointed out the mistakes that were carelessly made but they only used a paper towel to take off some of the paint on my skin. Definitely, will not be returning for a manicure to this establishment. read more
