Stopped in for a pedicure and a gel manicure. They were able to get me in immediately. I am leaving for trip later today and don't have many options otherwise would've gone to the place I normally go to but they don't open for another hour and don't have time to wait. I will never come back here even in a pinch. They rush through your service, they do not put anything in the water that you put your feet in for a pedicure just yet the description says they do. The owner is friendly but other than that I they aren't very friendly and act as though it's a nuisance for you to be there. They do the bare minimum. Not worth it at all in my opinion. read more

Customer service . Got gel nail manicure. Worst experience I ever had. She didn't look at me once. She rushed through the whole process, did a messy job. Didn't even smooth my nail from previous polish. My nails were all rough and filed uneven. Almost every single one of my nails were missing polish, I had polish stuck to my skin. she didn't polish the whole nail.it was obvious she didn't want to do the manicure, she couldn't get done fast enough . Today was the first time having a pedicure at Nail Time and it will be my last!! I need a new nail tech and thought this place would be a good choice what a mistake!! The technician never spoke to me rushed me through the pedicure cut me and never apologized my nails look like a two year old did them!! I have been going to Nail Time for years, usually pretty fast and they do a good job. Yesterday I decided to get a dip manicure, it was the worst experience. They told me it would be about 50 minutes In total. They had my soak my hands in acetone for an hour, I tried to tell them it was starting to sting, but was ignored. Then they did the manicure in about 15 minutes, no prep, didn't touch my cuticles. It is sloppy and I will need to go somewhere else to get it done again. read more

I have been going to Nailtime for years. The last time that i went, I had a regular manicure and my nail polish peeled off within 2 days. I thought let me give them another try. I went in for a dip manicure and pedicure. I waited for about 15 mins and the owner took care of me. She is quiet but pleasant. However there was only she and another worker there. They were speaking to each other loudly in their native language constantly, with little to no interaction with the customer. I found it to be very rude. I can understand once in awhile but constantly speaking loudly to each other was not very nice at all to the customer. The other customer and I just looked at each other. It was off putting. My dip chipped within 2 hours. It does not look as nice as I have had at other places. Lastly, as I said goodbye and thank you, the owner was snuggled up in a chair on her phone not paying attention to me or anyone else. I feel like she is too comfortable in her environment and needs to put more effort into her business. It might be slow due to the economy but she needs to put her best foot forward and fix these issues. I will not be back! read more

Got an acrylic gel mani today, the lady who did my nails was extremely rushed because another girl she was working had to leave. She didn't do anyhing to my cuticles, she didn't have me wash off the nail dust before she did my gel mani, I asked for round nails and she gave me extremely pointy, oval shaped nails. She massaged my hands for less than 5 seconds when she was done. Over all wasn't a great experience. read more

I have been here three times. The first was okay. They didn't spent a lot of time on the prep for a full set. And it showed in about one week. Second time they said wait and after 25 minutes, I left. Third time was a rip off. Got a deluxe pedicure that was just a towel wrapped on my legs; nothing else extra. A fill and glueing one nail Back was $40! Not overly friendly. Disappointing. After booking an appointment (on line) I was kept waiting 50 minutes. After 40 minutes they showed me to the pedi chair and let me sit there another 10 minutes. No soaking, just sitting. I was about to get up and leave when they finally came over to start. Only to have the technician pulled away to fix something on another customer. I felt bad because there were only 3 nail technicians and lots of customers. Clearly they either overbook or just take customers as they come in. Regardless, waiting 50 minutes for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable. read more

So BAD! I went in on Sunday with a girlfriend and she got a gel manicure that lookedamazing so I went back today. I got the WORST powder dip, the technician left my previous red nail polish all over the sides of my nails cut my nails really short even though I told her not to and hurt my fingers while she was filing them there is glue all over my hands and my nails look terrible! When I got to Mail time it was really pretty there really nice set down waited some other lady came in got right away to a chair started working on her, I waited for another 15 minutes my mother was halfway done with her pedicure at this time. I had to wait for me to get my nails done. While I was getting my nails done I got asked how much an hour I get paid and then she went on to tell me I should get shellac about 7 times.. and after I asked her to push my cuticles back several times that never happened so I finally showed her. My mom took me to Nail Time earlier today as a birthday gift, my nail tech & all of the other ones in there were very nice, and welcoming. But at first my nail tech seemed to know what they were doing, they were very gentile, and didn't destroy my actual nail, but they really messed up my acrylics. I would have said something but in all honesty I felt too bad, my mom paid for my nails before they had the paint on and waited for me in her car, so I didn't want to address it to her either because again I felt too bad because $65 (including tip) is wayyy too much for this mess. My mom has been going there for years and her nails always look great, and after reading some reviews on google it seems they're great at everything excluding acrylic nails. We were walk ins and they were getting pretty busy, but I don't feel like that's an excuse to rush the way they did. We asked if they had time to take us, but I feel like if you need to rush to the point where I can't get quality nails then you should be honest, and say that :( read more

Disappointed in myself for coming here for years. Don't even bother making a reservation because they take all walk-ins before you, even if you have a reservation. Wanted to treat my mom and take her here but they made us wait for an HOUR past our reservation time and kept taking new walk-ins before us (????). On another note, there's a new place called Mai Spa & Nails next to market basket in portsmouth that's brand new and SO clean and nice and new and only $30 instead of the $35 this place charges. Absolutely awful. A woman at my gym told me to go here, and I wish I didn't listen. I walked in to get a gel manicure. She sat me down and I told her I wanted round nails. She proceeded to file them square. When she showed them to me, I repeated again that I wanted them round, so she rounded the edges but left them square. I figured it wasn't worth trying to explain it to her, so let her continue on with my manicure. She threw on the polish so sloppy that by the time it was done my nails looked bumpy. It was cheap, so I didn't complain. She also filed my nails again after the gel was on? I knew it wasn't going to last the full two weeks like it normally does for me but I didn't think it would only last 4 days. Good prices, friendly staff! I've gotten a gel set here as well as a number of fills. I highly recommend Jen and Lee. The pedis are great too. But sometimes I feel like they pressure you to do a French tip for that extra $5. Annoying but definitely not a reason to not go here. I've always received great service. read more

I have come here for YEARS. 10+ at this point. The last three times I've come here I've waited 20+ minutes, which is fine, but they'll have you sit in the chair without water, and when they finally come over you don't get to have your feet in it for more than 10 seconds. They rush every single time and low and behold looking at my toes AGAIN they are messed up. Half of one of my toes isn't even painted and my big toes cuticle is completely flooded. They are clearly short staffed today and the woman next to him was training my guy how to do them as he was going along. My toe nails aren't even straight, and I had to ask the guy to take the previous nail polish off several times.. he left dead skin all around the corner of my toes, and I can't even tell you how many times he cut me. Probably the worst manicure and pedicure I've gotten in a while. My mom and I wanted a nice treat while she was in town and we got anything but that. I'm coming off a broken big toe and it's fine normally, but harsh movements can make it a little sore. As much as I warned the girl over and over again to be gentle, she wasn't. Her very first action when I sat down was to grab that toe and pull my foot towards her. After being very upset, I thought she would figure it out, but no, she continued to be incredibly rough. She was probably more rough on that toe than any other and I couldn't understand why she wouldn't stop. I had a different girl for my fill and that went just as bad. She started by insulting my nails and telling me she had to take them off because they were so bad... yet somehow, the end result was so much worse than what I walked in with. She left acrylic crud around every one of my nails that I had to clean off, the paint job was terrible and not at all what I wanted it to look like and then the next day, one of my nails broke!! To top the entire experience off, my mom is allergic to aloe and when they put something on her that gave her a bad reaction, she was soooo slow in taking it off and then got mad snatching every product away from her telling her she can't have any massage because she's allergic to them. It was the worst experience at a nail salon ever and I was I could tell every person who's thinking about going there to save their time and money because a home mani/pedi experience is better than this horrible place. worst service experience of my life! i have been to many many nail salons and nail techs and i have never seen such a rushed, and unprofessional experience. As a licensed cosmetologist i am very well trained and certified in nail acrylic and dip power manicures. i chose to travel and hour and a half to this salon, as i live in massachusetts and it is located in NH, and i was treated like a 10 year old. i had an appointment at 4 o clock and i came along with a friend. i was taken first, 25 mins after we arrived, because they took 5 walk ins that came in at different times and took care of them before both of us, who had made a prior appointment. we are younger customers so they used it to their advantage. and my friend waited 35 mins. after i picked a color i had to wait another 10 minutes. after expressing i disliked the color on the nail 3x the nail tech continued. i asked to have them shorter and she gave me a funny look and did two strokes of the file and kept going. i asked for the nail walls to be smooth and straight, and she failed to even attempt. she was rushing my service to run to another walk in!!! i spoke up multiple times and she disregarded it. after i was finished i had to wait another 20 minutes for my friends to finish!!the whole time i waited for hers to finish i kept my emotions tight letting out a few tears as they knew i was upset. i couldn't even wait for my friend to finish paying, i ran out and balled my eyes out. the nails i received are bumpy, uneven, box like, the corners aren't finished, they are all different sizes, the nail forms are too large for my fingers, and the color is not what i was promised!!! even after i expressed i disliked the color. i called later after leaving the salon after collecting myself with my mom we expressed our service and requested a refund or at least for them to do them the right way. they laughed in our faces. after my mother expressed that i was crying leaving the door , HE CALLS ME A LIAR. a grown man calls a young girl a liar and laughs in my face when i express my concern. i am never one to complain or damper a business, but i've spent hours in school learning the proper etiquette of a business and how to properly service a client in the salon, and they failed to do that . it was such a disappointment. i would never go out if my way to write something like this but i do not want any other young girl or really anyone to experience this!!! save your 45$ for a dip set that took hours. oh yeah thanks for the 15 bucks that i'll never get read more

My nails bubbled while they drying them. They tried to fix it by applying acetone but they bubbled again once under the light. They were not apologetic nor compassionate about the situation. When I got home and inspected my pedicure I noticed that a few area were completely missed. I think they do sloppy work. read more

My friend and I made manicure and pedicure appointments 3 days prior to our appointment and we arrived 5 minutes early. After 15 minutes of waiting we were finally brought to the pedicure chairs where we continued to wait for 30 minutes. I understand that nail salons get busy, however, please have the courtesy to let us know it's going to be a 45 min wait rather than just ignore us while we sit at the pedicure chairs. We never ended up getting pedicures because we didn't have enough time so we went right over to the manicure station. The manicure was sloppy and I left with polish on my skin around the nails. Made an appointment to get a manicure at 10:00. Sat there waiting for an HOUR and a HALF while they took multiple walk ins before me. Once I finally got my manicure, it looked like a three year old had done it. Honestly if you're thinking about coming here, turn around and let your dog paint your nails and it will come out better.
