Unfortunately, the day of the move-in/unload did not go as planned... our painters were not done and our entire interior home was tarped in plastic, a 20 foot ladder was up over the stairs, wet walls throughout. James and Kelly showed up ready to unload our 26' truck... literally with NOWHERE to move our stuff into. (Good thing we had them rearrange their schedule to come to our house early... facepalm.) LUCKILY, James with Premier Moving is AMAZING and was able to have 2 guys come back the next day to unload!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! They don't charge the typical $100 start up fee that most moving companies do, they always provide wardrobe boxes & for any girl that is a huge help. I was so nervous the first time I moved, I have a very large vanity with marble & a full size body mirror, it has a significant mount of sentimental value to me and I was moving to the 3rd floor with no elevator. Cedric and his team took my vanity apart and wrapped it by piece by piece with care. It made it safely to my apartment and right out this time as I moved into my new place. I would recommend this company to anyone. They will work hard and fast, take care of all of your belongings and at the same time not charge you a crazy amount as a result.

My furniture was dropped a few times damaging my sofa and solid wood tv stand. You can tell these guys did not have experience. How did I know this because I worked as a mover for 4 years in college and my uncle who was there worked at a company for 3 years. I have damage to my walls and stair rails. I have 2 sofa's, one chair, king size mattress and rails, two stands, dresser and about 9 medium boxes. It was so bad I rented a small uhaul and brought my own tv's. We had to assist them to bring my sofa upstairs because they dropped it and cause a big hole at the bottom. Scraped my front door at my new place. Left tape and plastic all over at my old place. Mover said if we had 3 movers we would have been done faster in 3-4 hours. The movers were nice guys but you can tell they were not professional. The estimated move turned from $309 to 756. The manager insisted that these guys were professional and we need to pay 680. We had to go help them because they were moving so slow. My last movers were done in 2 half hours with three movers. They did not have a time slot that day for me. I have pictures of all the damage. One manager said we will discount you and just charge you a $100 an hour. Lol That was terrible because two men took almost 7 hours for a one bed apartment. Worst experience ever lady even said I will tell them to stop taking things off the truck if you want pay the $780. Worst experience ever with a moving company. I had a camera system in my home and outside. Two neighbors witness my furniture being dropped. Also the lady was very rude and demanding me to pay 789. Paid $600 and they broke contract when 2 men showed up instead of 3 we agreed upon. They did not tell me this until they were outside. Terrible business!!!!!!! Showed up in a rented uhaul truck. Please don't give me an excuse about covid because camera showed no on had on mask are gloves. . One guy was a last minute hire. The camera shows I didn't have a-lot. They did not fulfill their part of the contract. Inexperienced movers damaged my furniture and walls. They took 6 hours for a one bedroom apartment. They did not have to walk far and dude kept making excuses. Also we had a freight elevator. The one sofa didn't fit in there but we helped them bring it up after the one guy said it was impossible to bring it up. My new neighbor said my sofa is bigger than yours and my movers got it up easy. I repeat do not use them!!! Your movers didn't even wear mask or gloves. They were all in my house around my family without mask. DO NOT USE BOOT LEG MOVERS!

They added a second stop to drop some items off at the loft in addition to the scheduled stop at the storage unit - basically, I was a hot mess and they were as helpful as they could possible be. The 1st and most important part is- no hidden fees. Upstairs, Refrigerators, Safes, etc, they never hit with an additional fee of any kind. I did agree, on a couple occasions, to pay a gas charge. But the circumstances were still all too kind on their part. I had them move from my house to my office, to a storage and back to another house. It was ridiculous on my part, and I agreed to an additional $40.00 gas. They had a 22 ft truck, so they still lost money. If I would have known that then I would have given them even more. (oops.) I've always been allowed to speak directly to the owner to arrange the move. I also always request Leo on every move. Furthermore, they have never broken a single item. NOthing has ever come up missing. When I had them do a company move, changing offices, I had to request a copy of their insurance and they provided it, no problem. On personal moves, They put together the beds, the tv stands and entertainment centers beneath the big screens. They don't put together the electronic part or hang the televisions, etc. Bonus: I don't have to unpack dressers, file cabinets, etc. They use giant saran wrap and wrap it around everything, so it will stay closed. So I use less boxes. Sometimes I ask for 3 movers at a time, sometimes 2. Just depends. Small variance in price. On the big jobs it's more cost efficient. They won't pack anything. And since you're charged by the hour, do realize if you are packing and they are waiting, it is on the clock. I learned that on my 1st move. It was a "shazaaam" moment for me. Besides the cheapest, they are the best too. No frills, but an honest move that will exceed your expectations.

This was the most atrocious experience I have ever had in 4 moves. I was assessed via text for the…read moreextent of my move, and with one phone call where I explained we had a 6 bedroom, 3,500 square foot home to move, in addition to gym equipment. Photos were provided. I was assured the crew could complete the move. The weekend before the scheduled move, I was asked if we could move up our move because they had forgotten something on their calendar. I offered to let them move me over the course of 2 days, but couldn't disrupt the kids end-of-school year for sleeping arrangements. On Wed, they arrived 4.5 hours after they said they would be there. They worked for 4 hours and said they would come back the next day to finish. They also managed to break a table and told me they would take care of me for it, but it has yet to be addressed since then. The next day, they showed up with only 3 people, only 1 of whom was able to consistently work. Because they had overbooked themselves, they didn't even have a real moving truck, but had shown up with budget and u-hauls. For my exercise equipment, I had to borrow tools for neighbors to take apart because they didn't know how to take it down. After 2 hours of trying, they gave up and I hired a fitness specialty company who had it down in 20 minutes and transported to my new home for $400. The only problem with this is that they couldn't come until the next day, which left me out of contract for my new owner which is an entirely new set of issues. I would have used a fitness specialty company from the beginning had they not told me they could take it down no problem. After all, they had the model number, photos, and had seen it in person to confirm! The 3 man crew proceeded to transport my things to my new property and abandon them with all of my belongings in my front yard before leaving for the day. I didn't hear from anyone for 3 days, which in that time I hired a different company to actually move me. The new company sent a 3 man crew who did the job in 3.5 hours. After 3 days, I was told by Fitzgeralds that they would send someone on Monday to finish the job. This would be 4 days after they abandoned my belongings and their trucks on my property. Then they sent me an outrageous invoice that isn't even accurate for time nor considerations for what I had to pay to rectify their mistakes. If I could give this company a ZERO I would.
