Updated Review - June 2026 I am updating my previous five-star review from August 2025 because my experience on June 19, 2026 was dramatically different. As a widow and parent of a medically fragile daughter, I chose this company specifically because of the excellent service I received last year. This time, the crew worked for approximately five hours with no complaints. The lead driver performed a walkthrough, used my bathroom, and the team packed and loaded belongings without raising any concerns about the condition of the home. Everything changed when it came time to move our stacked washer and dryer unit (329 lbs). Suddenly, the lead driver claimed the apartment was so filthy it was making him sick and they could no longer continue. This was the first time any issue was mentioned. Two days prior, maintenance workers had been in the same apartment and specifically commented on how clean it was. I was left with furniture, beds, and belongings still in the old apartment while the crew stopped for about an hour before disappearing. I had to scramble to figure out what happened to my possessions. Since arriving at the new place, we have also discovered multiple damaged items (couch, end table, broken patio chair, etc.) that were not damaged prior to the move. This experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing. I have no problem leaving glowing feedback when a company performs well -- I did so previously. Unfortunately, this move fell far short of the professional service I expected and paid for. I would not recommend or use this company again. Tyler & Trey helped my mother-in-law with her move this weekend, and they did an outstanding job. They did take their time (some would argue about longer time spent on the clock), but they were extremely careful & meticulous! A lot of her items were difficult to handle, heirloom pieces, or extremely fragile, but these guys made sure to handle everything with care. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! RUN!!. if I can give them zero stars I would. They WILL damage your belongings and not care at all. We hired them for a move back on June 17, 2026. They came high recommended from a family friend that had a very pleasant experience with them. We paid them right at $3000 for a pack move and set up. At my previous location, they came packed everything up relatively decent and loaded the truck. However, I am not sure if it was just poor packing or what but they ran out of space on the truck and left about 40% of my home behind and we had to pay them to come out for a second trip at and additional cost of $216 an hour. Upon arrival to my new location, they started to unload the truck and began bringing things into my two-story home when two of them dropped a large dresser and scratched up my sheet rock leaving dent and holes in the actual sheet rock itself. If you think it doesn't get worse, you would be wrong. I run a small embroidery business and I own two machines. I own a Melco bravo 16 needle and a Brother 6 needle. Well, while bringing my Melco upstairs they dropped that as well and BROKE my embroidery machine that cost me $12k. After we took pictures of everything and filed a claim they offered us a pay out of $360.. Keep in mind I have proof that my machine that I had for only two years was in great working condition and I also provided proof that we gad NO damage to the wall at my home. Please learn from my mistake and NEVER hire these people. They WILL damage your shit and not give a damm. I do plan on seeing what options i have with small claims court, because when they dropped my embroidery machine they damaged the computer and it will no longer turn on. After 3 moves where they helped my kids move from apartment to apartment, I figured they were a good reliable service. BAD CALL. I had a 20 year old mahogany desk, they sheered the legs off one side making it beautiful firewood. Then when moving a closet/dresser unit, they gouged out the the sheetrock, damaged a door frame, destroyed a floorboard, and worse yet gouged huge section of my hard wood walnut flooring. The best part, The move insurance program got caught up in the junk file, so I didn't know about the added coverage. Their office manager that does adjustment estimated the cost of all the repairs, was around 300 dollars, and my desk was only worth 200. a total of 500. Worst move I have ever done and the most expensive. The movers pushed a dresser through a doorway on its side pulling up the threshold wood piece. When I pointed it out the mover said it was like that and they didn't do it. I attempted to tell them it was not like that and they continued to insist it was. The price was way more than expected almost $400 more than expected. Then the movers I guess expecting a gratuity told me it wasn't them I should be upset at it was the COMPANY. All My Sons lured us in with a low quote, then charged over double the price, failed to move all of our items, and provided practically worthless insurance all while delivering rude and dismissive customer service. Avoid this company at all costs unless you're prepared to fight for every penny and still end up shorted and frustrated. We were initially quoted $1,200, but our final bill soared to $2,500. When we expressed frustration, the manager admitted the "fuel charge" was "ridiculously high" and only deducted about $100, leaving us still more than double the original quote. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is unacceptable. Halfway through, the movers decided to leave behind our entire gym weight set, taking only lighter items. We were forced to move heavy equipment ourselves while they prioritized easier items. Their so-called insurance only covered $200 barely enough for supplies to DIY-repair our damaged table. When I questioned it, AB (adjuster) was extremely rude, raising his voice and shouting, "Look, we are not going to give you any more than $200." This amount was not sufficient for professional repairs, and he was so unkind when I simply asked him how I was supposed to do this repair myself. Worst move I've ever experienced. I went with them because I thought they were big enough to handle a move that included a couple weeks of storage before getting into the new house. The actual move process was horrid. They didn't estimate enough room in the trucks and then told us that we could probably just leave our things at the old house since it wasn't much ( it was our entire living room), then they recommended that we rent our own U-Haul and do it ourselves even though we were paying them thousands to do the job. The movers were so scared of upper management getting mad at them that they did a poor job packing everything just so they could salvage their "times." When we called to resolve the issue of left behind furniture, management was incredibly rude. There was only one mover who was any help, Gabriel. Once we finally moved into our new home, many things were broken or completely lost. I even ended up with things that were not mine to begin with. They broke our 75 inch TV, loads of dishes, furniture, sleep number bed (which they swore they knew how to move), oh and a cast iron pan. I don't even know how they managed to break the cast iron pan, but that demonstrates how careless they were. We had bought the extra insurance for the move because we know things happen, but after thousands worth of damage they only refunded $915. Although we didn't contract with this company to move our household, we did enlist their services to move two pianos from our home to our new home, and don't the way, we dropped off an upright at a friend's home and then continued to our new house with our baby grand. They did a great job of wrapping and protecting the piano, and even pointed out some things that it had wrong with it before completing the assembly in it's new spot. One odd thing was that the foreman for the move recognized our new home, because he had been working on the move for our sellers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and it's employees for a moving service, especially with something as fine and expensive as a baby grand. Do not use All My Sons if you want professional movers. My movers acted agitated, complained about the work, and were overall unpleasant. Charged double what was quoted. I was surprised to see two physically small/very slim people show up as my movers, one guy and one girl but I figured it shouldn't matter, they were hired for their ability. Unfortunately they weren't able to move my things without dropping corners of things on the floor or hitting themselves in the head with my furniture, all while moving very clumsily. At one point the girl started complaining to me about their previous client, saying "now this woman is texting my phone..." while sighing and rolling her eyes, and come to find out the previous client was texting her phone because these movers accidentally took some of her items to my place instead of dropping them off at the last stop. So they accidentally took her stuff and are now complaining to me about it? Unprofessional. Once my items were loaded we were headed to my storage unit. We left at the same time but I waited for them for 30 minutes and they weren't there yet. I called to ask if they were okay, they said they stopped to get hydrated. They are charging $150 an hour. I still don't understand how you take over thirty minutes to hydrate. At the end I tipped them $20 cash and she had the nerve to say "if you want to tip us more we accept Zelle or Cash App". Rude and ungrateful. If you don't want my tip because it's not enough for you then send it back, you know where I keep my stuff. I was quoted $400-$500 for a 700 square foot apt., and paid OVER $900 to be disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of hiring standards from All My Sons. Where do I even begin? The day they moved us out of our house they were an hour and a half late . The crew was respectful and seemed professional . However there was even a longer delay when one of their trucks got stuck in the mud and they had to wait for a tow truck so they could finish loading our household items . They were not very careful in how they loaded stuff because there was to pick up truck loads and a car load of items we had to move out ourselves because they wouldn't fit in the trucks . I had to remind them more than once of items that were in our Christmas shed and she shed . They took the base off of our TV and we still have not located that . We had to leave our outside refrigerator behind because they couldn't fit it in the truck . We had to leave stuff in the trucks for a couple of days until we could get moved into our new home . When they arrived to unload the trucks I had told them several times there were items that went in the storage shed which were holiday and seasonal . We've been in this house about a week now opened that storage shed heavy totes were set on cardboard boxes which were crushed stuff was just tossed in at an angle when you open the doors things fell out and there were at least 10 boxes and miscellaneous items that were in there that were obviously not seasonal or holiday . I furious! Everything was crammed in at the front of the shed with a big open area on the left side that went all the way to the back . We had to spend an hour today in the heat sorting through all of that and bringing things in the house that did not belong in a storage shed . We had some broken items and we have not unpacked everything so I have no idea what else could be damaged . They did not bring enough boxes they said they didn't bring enough rods for wardrobe boxes which when I unpacked wardrobe boxes there were no rods on any of them . All I can say it was not a good move either moving out of our old house or moving into the new house . There is also the issue with lamps we have two tiffany lamps that they took the shades off of and neglected to put them in the truck or even wrap them and we have to transport them separately ourselves. Oh and one of the movers put a hole in our drywall and neglected to tell us when he was moving items in . My husband had told him not to come through the laundry room because there were concrete steps coming in from the garage . We used this company's services to move our larger, heavier pieces of furniture from a two-story house to a one-story house 2-1/2 miles away. The gentleman I spoke to to get the estimate and make the arrangements was very professional and willing to be available to answer any questions or concerns we might have had before the move. I felt very good about our decision to use this company. On the day of the move, I did get a call letting me know that the crew was on their way, and they did arrive at the expected time. They were very polite and got right to work. Unfortunately, it poured down rain for much of the time the furniture was being prepared and loaded. The men appeared to cover and wrap the furniture thoroughly. I was impressed that they were upbeat and did not complain about the terrible weather. I felt things were going well under the circumstances. Then I was told that my desk had been dropped and it was broken. I know it was an accident but I was very disappointed. I bought the desk new about 1-1/2 years ago from Wayfair. It cost about $550 plus a couple hundred dollars to be assembled. Based on the 60 cents per pound rate, the insurance is pretty insignificant. I did not see when the desk was dropped, but I believe if it had been disassembled properly, it would not have been destroyed. When the truck was loaded, the fellows got in the truck and headed out of the neighborhood. I saw them leaving, but no one had told me they were ready to go. (I later found empty plastic water bottles left in the yard.) When we got to the new home, the men were very efficient in bringing in the furniture and putting it all where we wanted it. I was disappointed that the mirror to my bedroom dresser was not attached to the dresser, but I'm sure that can be done fairly easily with a little help. I really wanted to be able to give a good review of the services, but the desk fiasco was very disappointing. Many hidden fees. I was initially told that services needed to be booked at a one hour minimum. The movers showed up and said that it was three hour minimum. They refused to use the plastic wrap that I purchased, stating that, "it wasn't enough. The movers were moving items intentionally slow to extend the move time, therefore racking up the cost. At one point, out of the three movers that were there, only one guy was moving things in to my new place. This company is unbelievable! Sent us a 3 person team to complete packing and move us across town . They didn't arrive until 3:15pm . The crew were already exhausted from the first move for that day. Theyhad no bubble wrap for any packing and just threw items in boxes and o f course kitchen breakables were shattered. At 6:00pm I asked them if they would be all right for us to go get a bit to eat and the said that would be fine. I also offered to bring them back food from Whataburger and they were quite grateful and I took their orders. When we returned I was told by the driver that their boss told them to stop loading the truck and head for the destination and unload. They told me the bosses name was Chris. So I called Chris and he was not accommodating at all. Something about he would be breaking a federal regulation law of drive time if they continued . At this point the 26 foot truck they were charging us for was half full and there were still items to be moved from our apartment.i gave the crew the food they had ordered , at my expense. There was nothing I could do at this point except follow them to our destination. We arrived there about 8:00pm and I was told they wouldn't unload the truck until I paid them. For the half full truck and items left behind they wanted $2,325.00. I told them I didn't have that much money, then the driver called his boss again to discuss the price. He was on a speaker call and I told him all I had was $1,800.00 and his boss said take it. Mind you , we are an elderly couple health issues. So they unloaded the truck and just dumped boxes and our bedroom furniture. To this day we still don't have one of the beds put back together as we have no idea what or where they put hardware for the bed. as I said they just dumped what they had on the truck. Then the driver wanted me to sign his invoice of completion and I refu sed. He said I had to and I still refused. It took us 2 more days to finish moving what they left. I am a single mother with 3 kiddos and a disabled mother and had to pay over $2k to move from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom on the 3rd floor to another building on the 3rd floor, same complex. That was all the money we had saved up for Junes rent. They sent 2 men when I was told it would be 3 men. The guys were very nice but took their time and also asked me to feed them. I bought them food and had to supply them with water the entire time which I had to go out and buy. One of the men stopped working the last couple hours and left the other to do it alone. They started at 8:45am and didn't get done until past 1am. My 12 year old son had to help the guys unload the truck to help them get done faster. One of the men (the same one that sat out at the end)were concerned with getting done quickly because he needed to go see his girl. They put nothing where it needed to go. They piled everything in my living room and put bed frames and dressers in rooms they don't belong so now I am having to try to move all this heavy furniture on my own. I couldn't even open or get to my patio door. My kids had school the next morning but had to wait up for their clothes to be unloaded from the truck. The company will not help reimburse at least for the food and water I had to provide their men. It was absolutely ridiculous and I will never recommend anyone to All my sons moving. One of my bed frames was damaged but I am not even going to bother trying to get help from this company. Chris told my mother that he would "try" his best to refund $500 but told us today that there is nothing he can do. They people who schedule you are complete liars and add fees that was never discussed when you book. I was told 180 for them driving to me and away. 199.99 an hour for 3 people. I didn't have large furniture, only a few desks, Matress, 2 end tables and boxes and garbage bags They try to add materials and added 100.00 for gas They move extremely slow. I had 3 men and only after I start fussing they picked up the pace. Which I don't like doing. Why do I have to fuss to get my moneys worth. They then gave me a bill with an additional fee of $376.00 for materials that we never used when my things where already wrapped and prepped in plastics from the professional movers that moved me prior and been in storage for a year. The movers were four hours late and hit the overhang of the building we were moving out of, causing thousands of dollars in damages and an additional hour of waiting. Extremely disappointed with the quality of service we received from All My Sons Moving. When I first made the appointment and thoroughly explained the items that needed to be moved All My Sons said they would send a 3 man crew and a 26ft truck. I emphasized to them that I didn't think the truck would be large enough but the representative on the phone reassured that it was. The day of the move arrives and what do you know! The truck was NOT big enough so half of our items had to stay at our old house and now we are left to hire somebody else to come get the rest. When the movers arrived at our new house before they even start unloading the items one of the crew members came in with an iPad requesting for payment ($2000) with a summary of the guesstimated time it was going to take to unload the items that were able to fit on the truck. The crew member had to call their "manager" VINNY so they could run our payment over the phone and after several attempts of trying to get a hold of him he answers the phone and by the way he talks with his employees is very unprofessional and surprising that he has people working for him. After time goes by the crew member comes back in and says if we wanted to pay for extra time that they could finish moving the items that were left which was our couch that was left sitting in the front yard 3ft away from the garage and a bed that was left in the middle of our game room. I will say the only person that made the experience somewhat better was Brandon. He was hardworking and very polite! Vinny on the other hand is worthless and has zero people skills. All My Sons should feel ashamed that they have somebody like him in a leadership role. read more
