I have an older 2016 Macbook Pro that had a faulty screen ribbon that was damaged and caused issues with the screen. The cost of a new screen replacement was almost the cost of a newer and better computer. I spoke to Alex at Fast Apple Repair about this and he quoted me a very fair price to take off the faulty screen and connect it to an external monitor (The laptop itself and my data were still running great). I dropped off my laptop the same day and to my surprise it was ready for me the very next day. After I brought it home, I found that it would not connect to my monitor. I called Alex about this, and he asked me to bring back my "headless" laptop so he can double check on his monitors at the shop. It ended up being that my current monitor was not compatible with my older laptop. Alex was kind enough to sell me a pre owned Apple Cinema display at an incredible price (I can genuinely sense that he just wanted me to be satisfied). Pretty much a better setup than my last computer at less than half the cost of a screen replacement :) Alex and his team is honest, knowledgable, and very ethical. I took my laptop which had an entire cup of coffee sitting inside the motherboard and keyboard and desperately asked for help. Terrible customer service. Rude. Were not able to get the information needed moved from my old Mac to my new one. Was advised they would have to send my external hard drive to Northern California for thousands of dollars to get the data off there and they would keep it (as they had it in pieces at a remote location where I also had to pick up my other devices) indefinitely and/or until I decided either way. Upon my departure that day, I said, "see you again", and they said "I hope not." Today, 10 plus months later I go to ask for my external hard drive and was immediately interrupted about a 30 then 90 day policy (which I was never told about) but was expected to know based upon whatever was quickly signed. Horrible customer service, lack of service in general and will never go back. Being here 45+ years, we have other options for service for any of our needs. I cannot recommend this place enough! My Mac computer is my livelihood and it was experiencing major technical problems. I was concerned that I needed to buy a brand new Mac, which I don't want to do. My machine needed a new battery and a whole new hard drive and I needed it done as quickly as possible. Not only did Fast Apple Repair fix those issues and did it in a timely manner, they made my laptop 10x better! They not only replaced the battery and hard drive, but gave it major software and hardware upgrades. They replaced the keyboard, cleaned the motherboard, and upgraded the memory from 8GB to 16GB. And they charged me only for the battery, hard drive, and labor. All of the other major upgrades were done because they are awesome people! They made my computer better than when I had initially purchased it, which gave my computer at least 3-4 more years of life. And they did all this within 24 hours! Apple told me it would be at least two weeks and the costs of the repair would be the equivalent of purchasing a whole new computer from them. WOOHOO!! Loveee Fast Apple Repair. This is actually the 2nd visit I've made with them and I'm a happy customer yet again. The 1st visit was for my cracked MacBook screen which they were able to fix & install quickly and affordably but this most recent visit was for a terabyte (TB) upgrade to my MacBook. Apparently, it's REALLY hard to get terabyte drives right now. When I originally called in November, they were well-stocked but come 2022, terabyte drives were hard to come by thanks to the docks being backed up & whatnot. I really wanted an original Apple terabyte installed rather than a knock-off, but all suppliers were sold out. Alex did some shopping and found a really good knock-off that their Apple contact confirmed was made by the same supplier, but didn't have Apple's name on it. I settled, not knowing when an actual Apple TB would be back in stock and it was already January so I wanted my Macbook fixed. The same day I drop off my Macbook, I get a call from Alex apologizing profusely, explaining how their supplier shipped them a 54 GB hard drive instead of the TB (stupid Mercury Retrograde!), but they called the supplier who'd be rushing out the TB drive ASAP. I laughed and let him know it was okay (it was Mercury Retrograde afterall, these things happen!), and told him he could keep my MacBook until my drive gets there. I wanted my Macbook fixed but I didn't necessarily need it for anything. About a week later, Alex calls letting me know that not only is my Macbook finished, but they were actually able to find an OG Apple TB hard drive!!! I knew the actual Apple product would be more expensive than the knockoff, but he told me they'd take care of it for me :)  So happy they were able to get it fixed aaand with the OG TB drive I originally wanted. Fast Apple does it again!! I had 3 iMacs at Wham-O, that were old and running slow. My Designers were not able to work at full capacity with what we had. I requested for computer upgrades with office IT and was told they could not do anything more with the existing iMacs we had in the office and will need to buy new computers, which would cost $2500 each!! ouch!!! I needed a second opinion, so I called Fast Apple Repair and spoke with Alex. He said he can upgrade my Team's iMacs with SSDs for less than half the cost off a new computer. Hearing the news was music to my ears because there would have been no way I could've upgraded 3 computers in a fast timely fashion before the busiest time of the season at Wham-O, if we had to pay $2500 for new computers. I am very pleased with the work Alex and his team have done for my Designers. The way the computers run now are like day and night. My Designers are able to work efficiently with less stress thanks to the upgrades. Fast Apple Repair have saved Wham-O a ton of money. From the first time I had brought my laptop to fix years ago. I knew I would always come back to Fast Apple for all my other Apple needs because these are the Apple experts without the Apple price tag. Thank you again!!! read more
