Came in for Lunch with my buddy. The place had a modern art deco vibe. Our server was friendly and efficient. We order our food and it came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. I'd highly recommend this play for Lunch or Breakfast!

We wanted something quick simple and good , and that's exactly what we got coming to this restaurant. It was the morning of thanksgiving and as you all know not many places were open but this diner was open until 1 pm which was perfect. The atmosphere was nice , not super crowded and the servers were super attentive and friendly! I ended up getting the Texas melt and cheese balls. The Texas melt was preety good , not as good as I was expecting but definitely delicious. I also really enjoyed the cheese balls, they didn't come with sauce but I asked for tomato sauce to dip them and it definitely tasted so much better , not that they didn't without the sauce but the sauce made it more enjoyable! The pricing was definitely fair , wasn't expensive at all. The bathrooms were clean. I'd recommend this place for others to check out .

I've driven by this a few times and wanted to give it a shot. It's a small restaurant but there is enough seating. They do a nice job clearing the table and getting the next group in. I was immediately greeted by one of the waitresses and she told us to sit down wherever we wanted. Once we sat we got the menus and I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was a standard diner sandwich which I love.

Great local spot ! After a busy morning of games with kids it was the perfect breakfast run. Hana was our server super friendly and took 4 orders with-out writing it down and they all came out on time and correct. Food was fresh and delicious it's no wonder why they are packed. Coffee mugs stayed filled and the vibe was right I truly enjoyed it can't wait to come back.

Great diner menu. We come here for the West End sandwich. Best roast beef sandwich I have had in a long time. Spinach, horseradish, Swiss cheese and lots of roast beef. Side of du jour and French fries complete the meal. Excellent! Just wish they stayed open later than 2pm!

We waited 40 minutes for a simple breakfast questioned how much longer it would be and got out heads bit off with excuses and different ones from each employee . Rude , place is dirty . One and done. Paid for my iced tea and cancelled our order that wasn't even stated .

Fast Break is home to my favorite Eggs Benedict in the world. None have surpassed the Eggs Benedict I've had here, though I've tried Eggs Benedict from quite literally all around the world. Their hollandaise sauce is a wondrous mix of sweet and savory, and nicely dodges the sourness that can sometimes emanate from hollandaise. I must only concede that I do order Eggs Benedict with Pork Roll here (I am a true New Jerseyan), as opposed to the traditional Canadian bacon, so that might help. Regardless, I love this place. It has such richly eclectic design inside that even if you're at an awkward brunch with someone, there are a million other places inside the room you can look. Fast Break also just has such a small town feel to it, despite its location on the side of a highway. Just a few weeks ago, I had a long breakfast with someone here. Our waitress never once hurried us along, even though we sat there for more than three hours. I hope to take my kids here someday far in the future and have them try some of the world's best breakfasts. It's that good.

The decor might be described as 'eclectic' or maybe even 'confused' (Australian indigenous artwork next to Orthodox Christian icons on retro candy teal walls) but there's nothing remotely confused about the menu which is the perfect synthesis of diner traditionals and healthy modern options. We shared a quesadilla (bacon and cheese) and spinach and fetta omelette followed by a pancake short stack 'chaser'. All superb. The pancakes were fluffy and imperfectly lacy around the edges. Goldilocks AND Baby Bear "just right". Added bonus: The waitress was extremely attentive without being intrusive.

I had seen the great reviews of this place and had been meaning to try it for awhile. The place is a literal goldfish bubble--from the outside you can see everything in, but it's not as noticeable when you're dining. It expands the space, which might feel a little claustrophobic otherwise. One thing to note though, that because of all the windows, it gets a little chilly, so I had to wear my coat throughout breakfast. I ordered an omelette, which came with home fries and toast, and my breakfast partner got the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and home fries. There was nothing bad about the meal, and maybe if we tried something a little more extravagant, I would have been wowed away. Service was very fast, and the food came out quickly and hot. We never felt pressured to leave, though it was a weekday and the restaurant was half empty, but I still appreciated this.

Plenty of fresh fruit on top of my French toast. I heard the chorizo burger was different and delicious. Most of the plates went back clean. Portions were very generous. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

Not only does the food taste truthfully out of this world, but you will also find that the service is incredible! From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. To say that I will genuinely miss Thymes and more so the generous souls that have always been there for me is an understatement. More than five stars if I could. Keep up the amazing work.

Good food only goes so far when the customer service makes you not want to return. After our most recent experience, I even sent the owner a private message directly rather than immediately posting a negative review, giving them an opportunity to respond or at least acknowledge the issue. I never received a response. That was really the final straw for me. Mistakes happen and service can have an off day, but completely ignoring a customer who reaches out directly says a lot. There are too many places in the area with both good food and good service. We won't be back.

And, no I am not awarding four stars for the service approach towards diners ... she did refill my coffee mug once and then surprisingly just took the creamers away without asking (I drink my coffee black but she didn't know that.). Clearly she has favorites because the guy in the booth next to me got the lovey-dovey "hon" treatment. The Sand Castle has a feeling of having been worn down by the waves through the years type of place because many of the booth chairs and counter chairs exhibit wear and even more than a few tears. On a cold November Saturday morning I could feel the chill as I sat in my booth sipping my coffee (And, I wasn't anywhere close to the front door.). So onto the four stars ... but don't say I didn't warn you about service and ambiance. Well, it feels like a shore diner and I like that feel but yea worn out a bit. Quite awhile ago stopped by for dinner and the food was really good with lots of tempting options. I always judge diners by their soup and the soup was top notch! Our meals were enjoyable at a reasonable price. And, then I just forgot to review the diner. But decided to return for breakfast today after a long Friday night. Coffee arrived promptly and was really decent coffee but the amazing part of my breakfast was how quickly the really wall prepared omelette was served. It was like in the blink of any eye and for many a promptly delivered breakfast meal is a real plus (I appreciated it!!!!). Although the waitress really didn't want to be bothered with me the rather short diner breakfast menu had the classics and that quickly prepared omelette was a tasty WESTERN. The homefries were really good ... actually they were great even without onions in them (Waitress never asked if I'd like onions and rushed away so I didn't ask but these potatoes didn't need onions.). Toast was toast and the jam/jelly selection was universally grape jelly with one orange marmalade. A very good breakfast and I wasn't here to make friends just to warm up ooops ok, so I didn't warm up but the coffee helped, and to do some work. Still worth the food if you're in the neighborhood!
