You only get service if you're a guy apparently. These females don't like to serve other females and will make us walk to the bar to get our own drinks during games but walk right past us while playing to all the guys playing around us for their orders. Good service when the waitresses are on shift during the evening, therwise you have to go to the bar to retrieve your drinks during the day. They do host tournaments (Sundays for sure), so you may want to call ahead of time to check. I went to this location April 7th at around 7 pm. We waited at the door for minutes and no one got around to us, so we decided to go to the bar and asked for a table. That's when we came across your bartender, she automatically had a bad attitude asked to have our "ID's READY TO GO" and walked away for a few more minutes. Then comes back and says she has no tables available, so we ask to join a waitlist, she just said "I meann I don't really have a waitlist" then asked for our ID's and when my friend said she only had a picture, she made a nasty remark and walked away, and left us hanging. Keep in mind I've been there 4 times before, the tall manager with curly hair has let my girlfriend in with only a picture no problem. Probably the best bar I've been to in a long time! I was greeted instantly at the door by two WONDERFUL lady bartenders. Made me feel welcome and worthwhile Their names were Holly and Nicole and they were just awesome as can be They made us laugh all night and kept us entertained The prices were reasonable. The pool was fun when our table was ready... even though I lost haha. Kam was our server and she was awesome. All our orders were perfectly placed and received and she was very friendly and professional. Before I left I said bye to my new bfff fave bartenders Holly and Nicole and told them I'd be back in two weeks (when I get paid again ) with some more friends! I used to come here often with my wife at least once a week. We haven't been here in at least 8 months or longer it really sucks. Service is bad we order our drinks and it took at least 45 minutes do get them. The server kept giving everyone else their orders and kept passing us upZ my wife even told her what about our drinks she said I'm sorry give me a minute and she kept bringing everyone else's their orders and we only had 2 drinks. I used to go to this place at least once a week about 7 years ago, but stopped once it got ghetto and too run down. I went last night with a friend and my brother, this place is making a nice little comeback. On Wednesdays they have free pool, which can be good and bad. The places looked fairly clean, the tables were nice and properly maintained, Constance was a great server and made sure we had a good time. The beer was cold, we didn't order any food. Second time here, girl in the front was extremely rude. Very unprofessional. Didn't even bother to acknowledge us. Low key felt racist, Because she denied a Mexican ID. Said it was expired when I confronted her she ignored me and proceed with someone else. First time it was great, but she was not in the picture. Left right away wanted to charge us and place us in a unknown time waitlist. If I could give her a negative 0 I most defiantly would. Pretty cool place when you just want to beat your friends in a game of pool not playing serious at all. They have a DJ playing usually top 40s music that also includes Country. Country music is just not my thing, but it it means being fair to others who love this genre, I support it. Came here on a busy night, and waited for a table for 45mins around 8PM. Grab some drinks, and food from the bar. I have to say I'm not a fan of their traditional wings, but I like there Pita bread dip. As for the pool tables, they are old and rough. I came here already expected that. So no disappointment for me. I enjoyed the busy atmosphere, music, and just having fun over all. I would also like to mention the attentive servers. They check on me more than 5 times through out the night to make sure I'm well taken care of with my Jin and Tonic. This place also have other fun games as well. My boyfriend and I have come here quite a few times. We try to go on the more mellow days of the week because if you go on the weekend, you have a small window to get a table until you have a long wait to get one. When it's busy it's difficult to get served at the bar and it can get pretty tight in there. The food overall is okay. I recommend munching on the Fried Pickles!! We came to find out that on Mondays and Wednesdays they offer free pool! The service is pretty good, we've never had any problems there. They play a variety of music and the DJ's they bring in there are usually always playing great music. They also offer other games besides pool (jenga, connect 4, etc) I recommend giving this place a try. If you go on the right night, you'll have a blast! read more

Fast Eddies like most places has their pros. Free Pool on Wednesdays, ping pong, the cheap shot(drink on menu). Yet they certainty have their cons. Music here is bad. In order to change the song you have to pay. I've seen waiters lose their cool. Understand they have to be firm. After all it is a bar. I've always had great experiences at Fast Eddies but after tonight I can say they've lost a customer. The waitress that we had was horrible. She completely screwed up our tabs even after I asked her to please let me see the receipt before she ran our cards to make sure everything was split correctly and she didn't. When I asked her about the discrepancies, she lied and proceeded to tell me that I asked her to put everything on one tab when I specifically told her not to. But that's not even the worst part. When I went to use the restroom, upon leaving I witnessed her use the restroom and went back to work without washing her hands. This was absolutely disgusting and mortifying to see because she handled my food and drinks and told me that she helped make my wings spicer and tasted the sauce before she put them on the wings to make sure they were to my liking. Im sure you can only imagine the sheer horror of that moment. Needless to say I closed my tab right after. My stomach turned to knots fast! Im highly disappointed because I truly liked Fast Eddies because the pool is reasonable, but I cannot compromise on bad customer service and unsanitary workers. Management should definitely look into this. I no longer feel comfortable eating or drinking anything from here anymore, nor can I recommend anyone to eat or drink from here with a clear conscience. This place is terrible. Was placed at a pool table and had no waitress for over 20 mins. Going to the bar to get a drink isn't a problem, but when everyone around us was getting served at their pool table, it is. We had no waitress at all the whole time of our visit, and after letting the manager know, we saw the waitress sitting "in distress" with another pool table. At this pool table, we've saw the manager and bouncer sit and talk, a long with other waitresses. From there, we received dirty looks from that pool table and it was obvious we've been talked about badly, and for what? Not receiving service for no reason? According to the manager on staff the "waitress" that was on the section we were at supposedly refused to serve us for an unknown reason. We have never met this waitress in our whole time of going to this place. This is the second time we have been ignored and disrespected for absolutely no reason. Being an avid pool player, I was excited to find a legit pool hall while passing through TX that had a fresh atmosphere as opposed to the usual dive environment. Nice layout and decoration, friendly staff and crowd, easily 20+ 8 and 9 foot tables - which leads me to my only real negative point... I noticed the particular table me and my guys chose since available seemed to not have been re-felted in quite some time and was in very poor condition, while the tables right next to it had been felted like new. Not sure if this was just a fluke and they are close to being repaired... but I feel like it says a lot about a pool hall to keep all of your tables in similar condition, that way no one gets shafted out of playing a decent table if others have already snagged the good ones. Just my thought. Overall, it's a great spot to come out and shoot, whether you're just in for a few games or looking for a serious match. Free pool on Monday nights for ages 21+, spacious, clean, food menu, decent selection of drinks, a patio available for smoking which keeps the inside air nice and comfortably breathable. It wasn't too crowded when I came and a good majority of the tables were in good condition, but I would bring my own pool cue if you don't want to play with a crooked one. I go here a lot. Its the only bar in South Houston that has a Cheers like atmosphere. Hot waitresses and friendly regulars of all ages. Usually free pool or 5$ shoot all night. They have a DJ on the weekend but I usually show up for 1$ wells and shooting pool. There new menu has some good items on there as well - macaroni bites and there ribs bites...There pablano poppers are good as well. Way better then slicks or barneys. read more
