Went in to get battery with 3 year warranty replaced got told it was fine they gave my watch back with broken hands told me I had turned it in broken when it was fine and wanted to charge me 50 dollars to look at it. Took a watch here to be repaired. After a couple hours went back to check on it and the jeweler told me he was unable to fix the loose arm inside the watch. A jewel on the face of the watch had come loose during the jewelers attempt to "fix" the watch, when I asked him about it he said he could glue it back on but it'd most likely fall off again. He proceeded to tell me that it would probably be better to just throw the watch away or donate it to a homeless shelter! I couldn't believe how rude he was! I took the watch to Jewel Master in La Quinta and he was able to fix the arm on the watch in 10 minutes as well as glue to the jewel back on for $18. I'll be taking all my jewelry business to Jewel Master going forward. read more

This tiny repair shop is so worth the time to take ALL of your jewelry & watch work to. How did I learn about this small gold mine of service? Well YEARS ago, I took a watch to "A 1 Watch Repair" in the desert. The owner's shop was in a disgusting mess! I left the watch anyway. He lost the instructions for setting it and put me off for weeks! When I blew up, he told me if I picked him up & drove him to Westfield Mall, he'd pick up my watch from the people he gave it to - to fix it! OMG!! Yet, how fortunate my husband & I were to learn the hard way that Fast Fix is the place in this valley to take your watches & jewelry to for quality of service & repair. We love this place as do all of our friends & relatives we've told about it. ANYONE who has less than totally positive reviews to share with you about this lovely shop, has to be less than honest with you. It's sad when folks use wonderful communication outlets like Yelp to write less than the truth. We don't know how the folks at Fast Fix do what they do. I had gotten a text message to leave a review. I had a mom's ring with her birthstone with mine & my little brother's, gonna give it to her this mother's day 2019, ring was too small, wanted it a couple sizes bigger but since it was engraved i was told at fast fix, it wouldn't work. I was bummed out because i really wanted the engraving to stay. So i ended up taking it to Ozel Jewelers instead in el paseo palm desert in which they will just cut from the sides, and just add new silver, and mold the new pieces, instead of cutting the whole thing and stretching it, and i still get to keep my engraving also for a much better deal for 70 bucks than me to pay 85 at fast fix. Workers were nice and so was the manager, at fast fix just bummed they couldnt cut from the sides instead. But its ok. I'll probably go back to fix something simple like a watch. I took my fiancee's engagement ring to have it re-sized from a 7 to an 8. At the entrance there was someone handing out a 20% discount on repair. Wonderful. I also had a necklace whose chain had broken. They had the repairs done in an hour. At that time my watch stopped so I asked to have the battery replaced. The jeweler opened it up and checked the battery and said it was good so he cleaned the contacts and didn't charge me. Great service and honest. read more

My expensive watch of $1500 stopped working. I took it to this place. After an hour the manager told me the following: my movement needed to be replaced, that the watch is in bad condition and that it would be $300 to make it work again...I said thank you grabbed my watch and left. Two days later took my watch to another watch repair store at the mall. The repair tech found that the battery was dead, acid leaked from battery but did not make into the mechanical parts. The guy replaced battery, clean up acid and was back up and working. In 20 min. All for $20......I don't find this business ethical, it sounds from review that they exploit lack of costumer knowledge ....This is a response to the rep who posted a comment on my review on 12/1/2014. Thank you for your explanation. However your explanation in the response is completely incorrect. No one at your company explained what you explained to me in your response. Instead I was told that water got into the watch and I need a while new movement, even though it was never in water. There was no talk about cleaning all the inside components. Your explanation is based on assumption. Bad call. ....Also my watch the way it is built is made on purpose not to allow battery acid or any "vapor" inside of the mechanics. I also looked into "acid vapor" and such a thing does not even exist. Basically your response is completely off on what I was told when I brought the watch in. And to finish off the review, you are given an opportunity to respond to a negative review in order win back the costumer and make things right. My watch stopped on Monday. On Tuesday I took it to Fast Fix to have the battery replaced. I was told it would take about 40 minutes due to other customers ahead of me, so I walked to the nearby book store to browse while waiting. When I went back to Fast Fix, my watch was ready and reset to the correct time, day, and date. The price was right, the people I spoke with were efficient and courteous. read more

I would have to purchase a new band. Offered a 10% discount. What a joke. Band was defective, and they offered a poor discount instead of replacing. After insisting that they could do better, they offered 15%. Never do business with them again. The other repair store at Westfield mall is a pleasure to do business with. I went in to see about a Rolex band repair. They were unable to do it because the expert was not there. I ended up buying a ring on display at the shop. I used my Hawaiian Airlines credit card, which I had not used for over a month. A few days later, numerous fraudulent charges appeared on the credit card, including one from Juicy Couture for over $400.00. When the credit card company contacted me, we discussed that, soon after using the card one time at Fast Fix, fraudulent charges popped up on the card. We agreed that this shop must have had a breach of security. So, while the employee I dealt with was quite nice and helpful, I cannot recommend a company that apparently breaches credit card security. The chronology of events compels me to believe that Fast Fix played some role in the credit card fraud, and I had to cancel the card and order a new one. read more

Really, the original repair of the broken arm/template was done at such an obtuse angle by your inept jewelry that it was a set up for for the other arm break, too. Moral of this situation: always get a second opinion before rushing into something that just doesn't seem right. SIDE NOTE* I went back to the 'Big box' optical dispensary who suggested your service and showed them your handy work. Of course, they apologized for the referral. I went to another jeweler which is in the same shopping center as the 'Big box' store and they said your work was totally the wrong thing to do and now my $600 prescription glasses are useless. read more

The saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies in this instance. I came here to have my engagement ring sized down and within one week the white gold turned yellow. I returned to have them fix it and each sales associate gave me the "there's no such thing as white gold" bit (which I completely know and understand) however, I also know that it should not fade within one week of getting it fixed. One of them even tried to tell my that my skin is too acidic for white gold...what?!The jeweler re-dipped it and it came back worse the second time, so I had them re-dip it again because hey, I spent hard earned money to have my ring fixed and it literally went to nothing. There is permanent discoloration to my ring which I now need to take to a "real" (for lack of better terms) jeweler to fix, and all the sales associate could tell me was that the quality of the gold my ring was made with wasn't that good, and that "obviously this doesn't happen often if we are still in business" First of all, in the customer service world, that is a huge no no; this ring is something that is precious to me so just because it isn't your ring, doesn't mean you act like it's not at all important to you because without customers, you DEFINITELY would not be in business! Second, the quality of my ring IS very good, my guess is it is the quality of gold YOU guys dipped it in. I am giving them 2 stars because they did end up re-dipping it for me a couple times and I appreciate that. But they lost 3 stars due to horrible customer service by both of the sales associates I dealt with. And from the looks of other reviews, looks like I should have checked Yelp before I even stepped foot into this business. read more

I have, for years been taking my watches and jewelry here for batteries and small repairs. I had always thought they were a little overpriced on the repairs; but, felt the time saved was worth the difference. They have a 1 year and 5 year battery replacement plan which I also felt was okay because of the convenience. On May 8th, 2016 I took my 14k Movado watch in and purchased a 5 year replacement plan/battery for $59.95. The watch stopped running again on June 12th, 2016....so I took it back to them and they told me the battery was good but there was rust in the movement and wanted $295.00 to make a repair. I asked them if they had replaced the battery with a new one and they said yes. I decided to get another opinion and went to another watch repair shop. They tested the battery, showing me that it was completely dead. The repairman said there was no evidence of rust and that; if anything, the movement might need to be replaced if it stopped again after a new battery ($20) was placed in the watch. He said the new movement would be $150.00 and he would deduct the price of the battery if this happened. As of now this watch is running and keeping perfect time. read more

2/2/15 My Watch stopped and indicated it needed a Battery replacement. Fast Fix tested my watch for a $89 battery replacement, and came back with a quote of over $400 watch service recomendation. I went down the concourse to Expert and got a Battery replacement for $45 and all is well with my watch. The service was not necessary! and the complete service at Expert is $185. I'm taking two more watches to Expert for service and batteries today. read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING!!! These people are crooks. I took an expensive watch in to get an estimate for repairs. I needed a scratched crystal replaced, some numbers on the bezel painted and the timing function was not working. They quoted me $350 to fix the timing mechanism and $115 to replace the crystal and paint the numbers. I gave the OK for the $115 quote and said I did not need the timer function fixed at this time. I picked up the watch and it no longer keeps time. They have refused to at least get the watch back into the condition it was in when I gave it to them unless I pay the $350. He claims it was not keeping time when I brought it in. I will be suing them. I have since learned from one of the kiosks hey broke someone else's expensive watch and are being sued by him too. read more

In only 30 mins their jeweler not only untangled the chain that I and my boyf had messed with for a total of 4hrs without progress but also re-sized one ring and completely rebuilt my other ring's band. I took 4 bracelets to have repairs. One I declined when the price was quoted at $135.00. The others were repaired at what I thought was a high price, but, done while I was Christmas shopping so ok. So far 2 are ok but, the 3rd broke twice within a week! The clasp literally fell apart. Not only did they refuse to refund my money, they refused to complete the repair. I'm very disappointed.
