He got me set up with a temporary fix so I could make it till Monday morning when he could get the parts to replace the pump and controller. He showed up on Monday morning and replaced the pump during a rain storm. I do have to admit the cost was more than I was quoted by some other companies for a replacement system but it was with the same (Taiwanese ) pump that only lasted 4.5 years. The replacement (keen) pumps was made in the USA and has a good reputation for quality pumps. Also, this system has replaceable components in the control box so I felt it was a higher quality system and paid the extra cost in the hope that it will last longer than the original.

We are renting a condo on Perdito Key and encountered two plumbing issues. One, a toilet needed a whole new mechanism and a new pipe from the floor. The other problem, a leaky whirlpool faucet. The mgmt company sent a handyman and although attempted, could not solve either problem. After a day without water, Stresmlined Plumbing was sent for the repair. The toilet was repaired in about 10 minutes. A new cartridge for the whirlpool faucet is expected tomorrow and we have an appointment to have that repair completed around noon. He said I could "get by" for now with a new drain pan and resealing the ductwork for $2647. I called the outfit that replaced everything 10 years ago who said NO WAY the AC unit needs to be replaced. Their quote for a new pan, drain and resealing was $800. So far, the re-pipe is up to snuff. but I don't trust these guys. If you call them for any work, be sure to get a second opinion.
