I was quoted one rate over the phone--the reason I agreed--and an amount more than 10 times that by 'Eliran' when he arrived. I should note at this point that from arrival to departure, the only time he requested identification was during payment. HE DID NOT EVEN ASK MY NAME OR FOR IDENTIFICATION BEFORE WALKING UP AND ACCESSING A PRIVATE, LOCKED HOME. UNPROFESSIONAL, POSSIBLY ILLEGAL. I COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE. A BURGLAR! in a hurry to get in from the cold, I authorized him to proceed. He had a choice of two doors, both with similar deadbolts, yet he struggled with one before giving up and going to the other, which took some time but he eventually opened it. Seemed a lot harder than it should have been, I don't think I've seen a locksmith ever pound the wrong key into a lock, wiggle it, and keep pounding...maybe it's an old technique. When the job was complete, I asked him if he was licensed in the state of California, since his vehicle displays a New York telephone number. He exploded in anger, got within inches of me waving his arms in a threatening manner, and his words were not even understandable. Sending instability, I paid him and sent him on his way, intending (and still) to follow up with every forum as well as public agency in regard to his behavior that was recorded on two security cameras.
