Kevin at Fast Smog is fantastic. I called around to check prices and he was the lowest. He answered all my questions over the phone. He had no wait so I took my car in 15 minutes later. He was very polite and respectful. He has a clean office to wait in while your car is being smogged. During the smog test, he came in to tell me that my gas cap had a crack and my car wouldn't pass unless replaced. He had one to replace it with and my car passed. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. His price was $40 cash + $1 more if you pay with debit or credit card. Like others have said, drive slowly when finding his place. Driving down Newport Blvd. look for 2146 newport blvd, then look for the sign on the brick wall that says Ferrari service. You will see the smog check sign there as well. Drive to the back of the driveway and Kevin is located there. I'm bringing my car back to Kevin next time I need a smog check. read more

I went during my hour lunch break and this place was super fast, clean, and I was able to sit and wait in a comfy couch in a room with a fan instead of outside in the heat like most smog stations. I went to a place that I've been to before and it was going to be $60 for a toyota tacoma. My husband went on google and found this place - a truly hidden gem of smog test places! No line, they took me back to a small little room with a nice flat screen tv to watch anything I wanted. The man brought our truck in and worked on it. His wife (I'm assuming his wife) kept me company and we started talking. 20 minutes & $40 (with DMV certificate) later, we are happy campers!
