The inspection took less than 10 minutes and I passed LoL I've never owned a vehicle that required a smog check at any point so this was a new experience for me. Tin made it very easy and super fast and friendly. The location was perfect for me, right by my work so I took a break to get the smog check done. This place had good reviews and was close by, so I went in early afternoon on a Friday and was helped immediately. Tin was personable, professional, and very quick. He gave us some mini bottled waters, tested my car, sent the passing results directly to the DMV, and we were on our way. Seemed like a good value at $52 with credit card (it's cheaper if you pay cash though). He even graciously thanked us for supporting his business, which was nice because you never hear people say that anymore. Pull around to the back of Valvoline Oil change (iono why people pay for oil change, easy to do urself), couple spacious clean spots reserved for the smog check, filll&sign 1 paper. Brought my car in, hooked up something, turned it on. Couple minutes later its done. Way different experience from previous car. I was ready with a book to read and my sketchbook, never had a chance to take either out! regular cash price $45, mention yelp for $38, card +$2 them transaction fees. I came here to get smogged on an SUV that had been stored for 4 years. It unfortunately didn't pass the first time. However, the owner asked me if I had disconnected the battery for a while and I told him that indeed it had been disconnected as it had been stored. He told me to drive the car for 50 miles and then to come back and that it would most likely pass the test. I did just that, I came back the following week and it sure enough passed! For what it's worth, you're allowed up to 3 free re-tests if you don't pass the first time, so I wasn't charged when I came back. The owner was very friendly and personable. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes, the test was so quick and the owner kept me updated throughout. Highly recommend this for all your smog needs! read more
