It was so unexpected and unapologetically different that I felt like I'd stepped back into the 80s, when people actually engaged in analog life. Handwritten notes, journaling, people-watching, real conversations... and just being present. I kept it simple and ordered the coffee of the day from Ecuador, and it completely delivered. I've never described coffee this way before, but it was smooth, balanced, and completely unoffensive in the best possible sense- no bitterness, no harsh acidity, just easy and enjoyable from start to finish. The vibe leans almost speakeasy. Intentionally undigital, very human, with music spinning from a record player in the corner. It's the kind of place that quietly forces you to slow down without telling you to. Safe to say, I'll be back. I can easily see this becoming a regular spot for me.

The ambiance is very relaxed, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't get to purchase coffee because there was a long line and I was being rather impatient, but it was a sign that the coffee is good! believe they are a smaller owned coffee shop, so it's nice to discover new coffee shops to add to my line up. Most customers just want good coffee and efficient service. A coffee shop isn't a psychologist's office. I don't know if this message should be directed at the workers who are always trying to be nice or the customers who don't seem to care about the people waiting around them.

There is a large free parking lot though, so that part's easy!
