We stopped by for a Matcha while out for a stroll in the neighborhood. It's a big bright shop. The staff was really nice. The matcha was not cheap but it was pretty good. Had a lovely bev break.

Not sure why this place only has a 3.8. Waited maybe 10 minutes for coffee. Got a IVL. Great conversation with the barista who was into Porsche like me, great music (old record player booming Journey) and the latte was solid like top 3 in LA solid. Really loved it. Bonus points for a huge wall of James Baldwin as we. Strong recommend.

Fun atmosphere! I've had better cappuccinos, but my husband ordered a Spanish latte, it was rich in spice and pretty good. Whole milk, oat, or almond milk options only. Parking can be challenging but easy enough to find metered parking if you're willing to walk a bit.

Loooove Menotti's! I've been coming for a few years and it's definitely a favorite. Great coffee (shoutout to their Spanish latte) and yummy pastries! Be sure to try the shokupan toast Their workers are super friendly and will always go the extra mile of asking you how your day is going, which adds to the fun and friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth checking them out!

This coffee shop is perfectly located right off the main street, which makes it very convenient. I've seen some low-star reviews focused on customer service rather than the coffee itself, but in my experience, the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend the Spanish latte -- it was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Definitely worth stopping by!

Menotti's Coffee Stop is a popular local dog friendly coffee spot in Mar Vista on Washington Boulevard with plenty of indoor seating options, and although there was a consistent line while we were there, it moved rather quickly. There is free street parking in the neighborhood, but make sure to read the signs to avoid any issues related to street cleaning. Have you ever been to a coffee shop with a secret? This was my first! You'll find one hidden in plain site at Menotti's. Pro Tip: Before you order, discreetly ask your barista for the secret menu location, and they'll shift their eyes to point you in the right direction. When we went, it was hidden behind a framed photo hung on the merch wall next to a bicycle. I love a surprise & delight moment, and I ordered one of their top secret menu items, the I and I, commonly known as a 1 and 1, a split of an espresso shot, the other half with your choice of milk. I recommend oat milk, and it's great to enjoy them side by side so you can really taste the notes in the espresso. They have special treats at the counter for dogs and our treat connoisseur Olaf the Doodle approved.

Picture of James Baldwin sipping espresso ! I didn't think I could love this place more .

My neighborhood coffee shop . Have been coming here for over 5 years !!!! The best coffee around ....amazing customer service and the baristas really know what they are doing . My favorites/ go to drinks are the Iced Vegan Spanish , the hot Spanish latte , the Iced Bees Knees and the iced seasonal Cafe De Ola only available in December. I really love that they are usually open during most holidays as well . For those who aren't leaving town or spending time with family it was a great place to go to in the morning and spend a little time with coffee crew members who were warm and friendly as always .

First time here and having their Spanish latte! Super rich and strong in flavor. Coffee shop is more of a pick up and go vibe vs working out of, so perfect for when you want to run in and grab a good coffee to start your day!

So happy I found this place which is right across the street from where I charge my car!! Super nice guy. Great matcha hot latte with oat milk and vanilla!! They serve pastries there too. Casual ambiance. Great neighborhood too :))

Small coffee shop in Venice. They have a vinyl player and play records. Ordered their iced spanish latte with whole milk before walking around Venice.

My quad shot honey latte was pretty good, I just wanted to leave a good review because the barista who took my order was sooo sweet and lovely. She was recognizing all the customers and treated me so kindly knowing it was my first time in there!

I have been wanting to try the Venice location for awhile now but that whole area is tough for parking if I'm driving alone. Luckily my husband and I drove by this location we didn't know about and decided to stop in! I ordered the iced Spanish latte with oatmilk and it was delicious! My husband got the iced vanilla latte and it was good. We usually ask for half sweetened at most coffee shops but we didn't for the iced vanilla latte and it wasn't too sweet at all. While waiting in line to order, a few people were grabbing a few bags of their house roasted coffee beans. I saw everyone grabbing the Ethiopia one and (as one would) I grabbed myself a bag. Freshly roasted just 2 days prior and wow those beans are delicious! Definitely worth it to grab a bag to make at home.

I enjoy the quiet ambiance and relaxing music that Menotti place as well as their nice furniture. A great place to gather your thoughts and enjoy a coffee before going back into the grind! Also one of the Baristas here can speak Japanese it's cool as hell.

As I was working through my message, I had the idea to include a visual illustration--a charcuterie setup to represent the abundant life Jesus offers. Right away, I thought of Alex and Olivia at Joliet Cafe. I've enjoyed Joliet Cafe for years-- whether I've come by in the day to get delicious coffee, or enjoyed the restaurant on a romantic night out with the wife - the food is always outstanding. Alex is truly a masterful chef! So just a couple of weeks before Easter, I reached out with this idea. Not only was he open to it, but he took the time to understand the vision and bring it to life. On the day of, Alex arrived early and prepared a beautiful, abundant "feast" that fit the message perfectly. It didn't just look incredible--it tasted amazing. After the service, we placed the charcuterie next to our lunch table, and it was gone quickly! So many people commented on how delicious and well-presented everything was. I share all this to say: Alex's professionalism, creativity, skill, and flexibility make him an incredible choice for charcuterie boards, catering, or any culinary service. He truly delivers--and you will not be disappointed. Thank you again for helping make Easter such a meaningful and special day!

I thought it was a full sit-down restaurant, but it's more like a cafe you can walk up and order from, and either sit at their bar area or outside at any of the tables. Regardless, service was pleasant enough. I got a chicken Caesar wrap and a Sakura matcha, and both were delicious. I loved the floral flavor of the Sakura matcha, and the wrap was fresh and flavorful. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite and coffee from, and I would totally come back if I'm in the area.

Therefore, I have to come and take advantage right? Well, I was able to order both tacos keto style (Dallas Fort Worth variety) and have their contents put in these cute cups. Needless to say they were delicious as was the fresh coffee. The CSA (CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL STAR) of this experience was none other than Erik-pictured. What a super nice guy! Erik was super humble, and yet calm cool and collective-while managing the usual door traffic. I guess where I'm going with this is I certainly couldn't do it! HomeState has become my go-to breakfast spot in the Playa Vista/Westchester area. This isn't your…read moretraditional taco stand - it's definitely a more modern, hipster take on Texas-style breakfast tacos. But they execute it pretty well. One of my favorite morning routines is grabbing a coffee from Blue Bottle next door, then settling in at HomeState with my two favorite breakfast tacos: the Guadalupe and Don't Mess with Texas. Guadalupe - 4/5. I always order this on a corn tortilla. It comes with eggs, chorizo, and cheese, and the ingredients are decent. The portion is generous, with plenty of fluffy eggs that are cooked just right - not overdone or runny. The cheese melts nicely into the eggs, creating a good texture. The chorizo is decent, though it's the weakest component of an otherwise excellent taco. Also, I realized that the portion of chorizo has shrunk over the years. Don't Mess with Texas - 4/5. I'm generally not a fan of refried pinto beans, but this taco completely won me over. The combination of beans, bacon, potatoes, and cheese works surprisingly well, especially with the salsa verde. The flavors come together beautifully, making this one of the more satisfying breakfast tacos on the menu. I've tried a few of their other breakfast tacos, and they're all good. Still, I always find myself coming back to these two. HomeState offers two house salsas roja and verde, both with a brighter, more acidic profile than what you'd typically find at a taco shop. Usually that would be a bit problematic for regular tacos, but that acidity pairs well with the rich breakfast tacos. My only complaint is that I wish they packed more heat. Hot sauces are available, but I'd rather the house salsas bring the spice on their own. Even so, they're flavorful and complement the tacos well. Overall, I like my Blue Bottle coffee + 2 breakfast tacos combination, and will continue eating here.
