The last couple of times I came here, the outside patio wasn't available. The staff either didn't bother to set up the space or broke it down early. Today, 15 minutes before closing, they put up all chairs as if they wanted us to leave. Not very welcoming. I will take my business elsewhere.

The color was off, it was gritty, and tasted like low quality matcha.

Very disappointed with the matcha latte. The matcha was gritty with undissolved bits, the color looked dull instead of vibrant green, and the taste was poor. Definitely not ordering matcha here again.

I found out about Tartine because I listen to Jeff Lewis. Apparently, this is a fav spot of his. Cute atmosphere. Very clean. I ordered 2 sandwiches To Go. -Fresh turkey sandwich cut off the bird. Moist and delicious. -Tuna sandwich with pickle hit the spot. Staff was friendly. They have merch and pastries for sale as well. Nice big & open place. Indoor & outside seating. I have tried a few spots because of Jeff Lewis and so far, no disappointments.

This is very close to my house so I thought I'd give it a try. It is very spacious and clean inside with a lot of seating. There is also plenty of seating outside. I immediately saw they had a small lemon tart which I then felt like I couldn't live without. I ordered that and a cup of coffee. The tart was delicious but I thought that $11.50 was a bit high for it. You order at a counter and the service was friendly. There is apparently underground free parking, which for Santa Monica, is a big deal.

This was my fourth visit to Tartine (Venice location) solely for this toast. It's delicious and their coffee is also great. Ambiance is nice but they do not have public wifi (relevant if you're wanting to stop in and do some work while you eat). Highly recommend and can't wait for visit #5!!

Lovely cafe - bright, spacious and with good food and beverage options. Wish they had more vegan & vegetarian options.... In the pastry section, they had a vegan crumb cake and a vegan cornmeal cake. The only vegan item we could have on the breakfast menu was the Avocado Tartine, which was very pricey but also very tasty. The bread was INCREDIBLE - fluffy and flavorful; avocado was fresh and seasoning was lemony & good. Almond milk cappuccino was strong and aromatic. Parking garage was easy to access with free parking. $28 for the tartine and coffee. Expensive! But I guess you could pay for the pleasant ambience and attentive service.

I stopped by for a quick cappuccino and ended up getting a ginger cookie, sweet and gingery! I had no idea they had opened this past June. Tartine offers a good variety of breakfast, tartines, pasties and bread options to grab and go! The ambiance is open, with music playing, you'll experience different scents coming from the open kitchen, and the big doors let the breeze in! Staff is friendly and service is quick! Why my rating is not a perfect 5 is because of the high pricing for their offerings. Free parking downstairs!

Had the opportunity to try the recently opened Tartine this morning. Was disappointed they didn't have French Toast (explanation: no bread???) but tried the croissant, soft scramble, and avocado tartine, as well as a latte. The premises was nice and open with some outdoor seating. Each item purchased was well-made/good and used quality ingredients, but I couldn't help feeling each was about 15-20% more expensive than other similar, comparable bakery restaurants in the area.

Amazing patio with Lincoln blvd view, so you can enjoy cars roaming and gassing all the way. Nice and clean insides with plenty of seating. Always fast and friendly service. Coffee program still a little behind the pastries which are delicious as usual.

    Salmon Tartine, Matcha with Honey

First time actually here, I usually just buy their bread at grocery stores. I'm so glad I came today! It's conveniently located with free parking and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a perfect spot to get work done (though I didn't see any outlets) or catch up with friends. The salmon Tartine was really good and so was their matcha with honey. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made it a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend going!

At around 11am there were a few sold out pastries being made (chocolate croissant, cinammon roll) but I was able to snag the last cardamom roll. There was also a bit of a line but it passed pretty quickly. The roll was very good! I paired it with an iced americano and it was an elite combo. Great balance of sweet and coffee. I'm excited to stop by again and try the other options. However, my friend did order and iced vanilla latte and specifically asked if it could be made less sweet. He doesn't like sweet drinks so he made sure to ask for the modification of it barely being sweet. When he drank the latte, it was very very sweet. They were a bit busy so I can understand the possible miscommunication. I would come back for the pastries for sure, but maybe not the coffee. Overall, I had a pretty good experience! I will be returning for the great pastries!

There's a couple of shared 15 minute parking spots in the parking lot, paid parking structure, or meter parking along Olympic, Sawtelle, or surrounding streets. Service: Service was great! Tera (staffer) was very nice, attentive, offered great suggestions, and was quite informative about the shop. She also informed me that I was able to get two complimentary macarons. So good and soo yum! 2) Roche: Consisted of hazelnut mousse, house made praline combined with soft caramel, hazelnut sponge. Taste like a Ferrer Rocher! It's very dense and sweet, but great to eat. Not something I'll have all the time. Macarons Of Choice : I got the Cookies and Cream and pistacio. They were both good. Artelice Patisserie For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back. Helms has a fascinating history. In 1932 their bread, Olympic Bread, was declared the official bread of the Olympic Games. This led to worldwide recognition.
