The pulled pork breakfast burrito is amazing--definitely one of the standouts and something we'd order again. I was a little hesitant to try the Boat Yard Hash again because I'd ordered it a few years ago and found it very underwhelming--mostly potatoes and not much flavor. I'm so glad I gave it another shot! This time it was completely different and absolutely delicious. It had tons of flavor and was a huge improvement from what I remembered. The biscuits and gravy were another winner. The gravy was packed with flavor and made the dish much more interesting than the bland, flour-and-milk style gravy you sometimes get. Three dishes, three hits. This visit was an easy 5 stars for us.

They were busy on a Saturday morning, with a consistent wait of 2-4 tables (20 min or so). I think there were three servers covering the restaurant, each with probably about 6 tables. Our server was incredibly friendly but not that efficient. She'd grab one thing, drop it off, then go grab another and do it again instead of holding something in each hand, for example. If you're in a hurry, this may not be the best place but it's decent if you have a couple hours for a meal. The place has a down to earth, kitschy feel. I'd avoid the booths though - at least mine was free standing and connected to the person behind me. Every time they stretched or moved backwards, they'd push me into the table. I started with orange juice. It was fine, like Tropicana with lots of pulp. I ordered a breakfast burrito with smoked brisket, pepper jack, and caramelized onions. I have no idea how, but it was kind of bland. The meat was tender but didn't really taste like anything (needed more salt?) and I thought they'd forgot the onions until I found one inside. If I'd been blindfolded and you told me it was a cheese burrito with shredded pork, I probably would have believed you. It wasn't bad but it was so forgettable it's hard for me to even describe. If you're at the marina and you're not in a hurry, this may be worth a shot. Unless I'm with that friend who loves it, I'll probably try something else next time I'm in the area though.

It is a family restaurant in the sense that the whole family pitches in to cook and serve food. I feel like I'm in someone's home . Show respect and appreciation and you'll get it back 10-fold. Dinners and breakfasts are awesome. Great quality. The breakfast muffins were a special treat. Loved the tapas style dinner as well. Please note it can get packed quickly. Super popular. Parking is not always easy. Be prepared to park away from the entrance. This is a working dock , so be on the lookout for equipment and boat trailers mob about.

Friends took us here in March when we were on a house hunting trip. So good we went back the next night! Have been back for their tapas menu three more times (would be four but they were unexpectedly closed one night) and still need to come for breakfast. Prices are great. Food is fresh. Maria, your host/server/floor show is the best. Family owned and staffed. Open kitchen so you can see the magic happen. Brisket, Coconut Shrimp, stuffed dates, olives, the BEST butternut squash risotto. And the most amazing cheese cake to finish it all off if you have room and they haven't run out.
