Halfway through the move, after much of my furniture had already been wrapped, I was suddenly informed that I would be charged $20 for every moving blanket used because the destination was a storage unit. This was never disclosed during booking. At that point, I was given the choice to either pay for the blankets or have my belongings unwrapped. That's not a real choice when your move is already underway. What was most frustrating wasn't the charge itself--it was the complete lack of upfront communication. Had I been told beforehand, I could have purchased my own blankets or made a different decision. Instead, the information was withheld until it was too late to do anything about it. Things got worse when the truck broke down on the way to the storage unit, leaving my husband waiting for approximately two hours. While breakdowns happen, there was no apology, no effort to make things right, and no discount offered for the inconvenience. The only concession was that they stopped the clock during the delay. The final issue occurred at the storage unit. The crew stopped unloading in order to secure payment before completing the job. I've moved multiple times, both locally and across state lines, and I've never had a moving company refuse to finish unloading until payment was made. It escalated into an argument and only after significant back-and-forth were we able to reach a compromise so they would continue unloading our belongings. I expect moving companies to be transparent, professional, and communicative. Instead, I encountered surprise charges, poor communication, equipment failures, and payment tactics that left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured. This review is not about wanting anything for free. It's about honesty and transparency. If there are storage blanket charges, tell customers before the move. If you require payment before unloading is complete, disclose that before booking. Customers deserve to know the full terms upfront so they can make informed decisions. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Unfortunately we have to move quite frequently, and this is the single worst experience I've ever had with movers. Almost every piece of our furniture has been broken/ruined. We purchased new furniture about 3 years prior to our move and our couch looks like it was drug across the pavement. There are literal holes in our couch, our dresser drawers are ruined, and our entertainment stand had the cords literally severed in half, so now we have zero lighting on the stand. We have several gaming systems that were tossed together haphazardly in one box, with zero wrapping paper between them. Further down into the box, was a new subwoofer with no wrapping paper (stacked under 4 gaming consoles and various other items) facing down into the box. We had small sentimental bottles full of sand, that were tossed in the box with the gaming consoles and subwoofer, these came open and not only was the sand lost, but was all over the box of electronics. Under all of this, were various console controllers, holding the weight of all the gaming consoles and subwoofers. The best part? All of this was stacked on top of my $1800 laptop. This is just an example of the negligence of this company. On top of it, they left trash (food/drinks we provided for them) all over our house and yard. We had to spend a ton of time going behind them and cleaning up after them. They would just throw it on the yard, or in the middle of the floor... instead of in the actual trashcan. The best part is that one of the workers told me "I need to listen" when I asked him the status of one of my high value items. On the second day of moving, there was several backhanded comments made such as this when we were nothing but respectful to these individuals. During the first day of moving, they repeatedly Left our doors open for hours on end. We would go behind them and shut the doors, but seconds later, they would walk out different doors and leave both of the doors open. We turned the AC up because paying for the AC bill in Florida heat is already rough. But adding in them leaving multiple people doors open while they stood outside for 30-40 minutes talking, is insane. The second day, we ended up turning the AC completely off (which was obviously miserable for us as well) because we could not afford to pay to cool the outdoors. Several passive aggressive comments were made about the heat of the house and when I eventually turned the AC on again, they again went back to leaving doors open. The outright disregard and disrespect they gave to our personal items was sickening. I hate complaining about companies, but I want to ensure no one else has to deal with the nightmare we are currently living. Every single item/box is either ruined or has multiple items ruined inside. Some sentimental and irreplaceable. Please, for your sanity and the safety/protection of your personal property...go elsewhere.

The movers came to my home 1 hour late from the agreed time. They came unprepared and did not bring tape to wrap up my furniture. The movers also came to my home HIGH as can be and worked in slow motion, one decided to come to my house in slippers to move heavy furniture. While disassembling some of the furniture in my home, it was communicated that one of my office desks could not be disassembled as it will take about an hour to do so. My husband and father in law took care of it in a matter of 5 minutes. This is how high the movers were. They clearly were too incompetent to take care of this. After driving the furniture to the new home, the movers realized that they left all of their tools at my old house which ended up taking me an hour total to pick up the tools from the old house and bring it to the new house. To top all of this off, the owner communicated he would reimburse an hour for this and he lied and never did. We were charged an extra hour for this inconvenience because his men couldn't do their job right. The movers ended up chipping some of the framing in the new house for one of our doors and ended up cracking the brand new tile when moving in our furniture (mind you this is a rental I'm living in). Once everything was moved into the new home, i was going to make a payment with my credit card and was told that the owner only accepts cash which he never communicated to begin with. I explained to the owner that i didn't have the cash but would give him a check and he could cash it within one week. The owner Jason started yelling and swearing at me uncontrollably on the phone and ended the call. The movers refused to leave my house until payment was made even though we only had a card to pay with. Luckily I was able to contact a family member to let me borrow the funds however I was scared for my life and my family's life. This has been by far the worst moving company EVER! Most times, my furkids only like my boyfriend and my 2 best girlfriends, however they adored meeting both of the guys. What can I say? They have discerning taste! Lionel and Michael willingly worked their butts off getting me moved from my rental to my new house, and even wrestled with a king bed frame that was being difficult to take down. Although it began to downpour, the guys made sure that my items did not get wet, and got the other stuff staged in preparation for a break in weather. I have an extremely heavy and cumbersome china hutch that has glass shelves and it was no problem for them to transport without breakage, although the look on their faces when I told them I was looking to move that to a second level, was priceless! What was even better was the look of abject relief when they realized I was joking. The only thing that Lionel wasn't able to connect was the dryer and that's because the plug in the house is about 35 years old (original) and my dryer electrical connection is more recent. He told me exactly what to get, to get it replaced, and I have a service person coming out soon to take care of that for me. The rapport between both of them was also great; Lionel had no problem with Michael giving a suggestion on how to get my overly large, solid oak desk out of my office and while that will require another trip out, I have no issue with the result, at all. The owner of the business is also great. He came to my rental to provide an estimate for service and he was spot on with his time frame. I would suggest that anyone looking to move, do so with this company. I would also like to suggest to potential customers that they have everything marked clearly so that the set up at your new home (whether it be apartment or house) or place of business, goes as well as mine did. If you're on a second, third, fourth, etc etc. floor, let them know ahead of time so they can get their truck and moving equipment to the closest access point available. Luckily my home is a single story with doors that open wide, so again, there were no issues with moving in. Additionally, take advantage of their professional cleaning services too! Once I have the minutiae at the rental taken care of, I will have the Pink Moving and Storage clean up crew in to give it that thorough cleaning needed. I might even see if they can offer cleaning services on an ongoing basis as well
