I worked for this company as a mover/driver and feel potential customers should know how employees are treated\. I was hired at $20/hour for driving and $18/hour for assisting\. When I received my first paycheck, I discovered I had been paid $16/hour for driving and $14/hour for assisting instead\. When I brought this to the attention of both the hiring manager and owner, I was told they could change my pay based on my "performance" without notifying me beforehand\. The timing of these claims was especially frustrating\. Just before this, I had worked an exhausting weekend where I loaded and moved two trucks with little to no help and completed a 3\-hour drive\. One night I didn't get home until 2:00 AM, and the following night I got home around 1:00 AM, only to be scheduled again immediately afterward\. Despite those hours, I was reprimanded because the trucks weren't cleaned to their standards at the end of the shifts\. Management assured me the pay issue would be corrected and that I would receive back pay\. That never happened\. Instead, they ultimately refused to honor what I was hired at\. I have since contacted the labor board and an attorney regarding the matter\. Based on my experience, I would encourage customers to ask how the workers performing their move are treated and compensated\. The attitude among many employees seemed to be, "Don't ask too many questions\." If you use this company, consider tipping your movers directly in cash\. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I hired them to move from a 4 bdr home. They DO NOT follow your Instruction. Every box was clearly marked GLASS and FRAGILE. They did not care My things were thrown around and broken. Mirrorred glass tables and cubes 4 of them (Michael Amini) were not wrapped and things STACKED on top of them. Wall pictures cracked, and vases broken. 10 x 20 storage. Bicycles stacked on top of white leather furniture. It was a nightmare. I could not retrieve anything out of there for months. Fast forward. I called them again to move the things out of storage to my home since they created this mess. Different moving crew. They saw what the first set of movers did and were shocked. They took video and pictures and submitted them back to Teleport Moving and Jonathan who assured me the company would repair or replace my items. Wrong, I was lied to. I was told by Jonathan the office manager no worries your things will be repaired or replaced just submit a claim to their department. Well I did that, and Teleport Moving offered me a courtesy credit of 500 and requested me to pay the moving bill. I am extremely sad that a company would do this. My things are expensive.and they are supposed to be professionals. DO NOT USE THEM. I have broken items and they will not compensate nor repair my items. AWFUL. The workers were friendly. Is told if have 3 workers and I only had one, their the job took longer. I received no items book reflected the do called discount for this. My final cost was over double the estimate. I have a floor lamp, very expensive, handmade of leaves. Workers put his finger throb one of the leaves. I watched this happen. They not take the garage items because they saw a roach. It's Florida!! Yet my bill was over double. My Amazon Fite stick is missing. It was plugged into the TV. AS a 64 year old woman with Rhuematiod Arthritis, I could not move most of the garage items. I lost antiques and other valuable items. They days they would come back out after I bombed the garage. They sent a three man crew despite my move being relatively small. The guys came in and jumped straight to business. They quickly gathered all my boxes and got them loaded onto their truck. I had never used a moving service before so I did a little digging online and ended up choosing Teleport to help us with our move. The setup call was super easy and they were able to set up a time on the date that I wanted which was one worry of mine. We were about a week and a half away from the date we wanted to move so I was very happy that they were able to accommodate. They also provide their own truck and moving supplies which was great to not have to worry about any of that. Jamaica and Todd showed up right on time the morning of and immediately got to work. They were both very nice and pretty much told us to sit back and relax. They wrapped all of our furniture and the beds before moving them which I liked. We have an adjustable Tempurpedic bed that's heavy and hard to move and they made moving it look like a walk in the park. I'm honestly still in awe at how fast they were able to get our apartment packed up. The delivery at the new place was just as fast and smoothe. They had the truck unloaded with ease in what seemed like 15 minutes (new location was on the 3rd floor). They were professional and great to work with. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I found Teleport Moving on yelp and they were quick to send a brief summary of their pricing per hour including the transport fee (which other companies fail to mention). They also pro-rate the time spent. During the consultation, they gave discounts based military status, etc. which was helpful! The quote was pretty accurate to the time needed. You just need to make sure you give an accurate estimate of what you need moved (e.g., rooms, boxes, furniture, etc.). Other companies gave me a quote/estimate that was double the time and rate needed! I also needed to change my date earlier and they quickly accommodated. A day prior, they called to make sure logistics were in order. The day of, ETA texts were sent and the 3 men who helped move arrived 10 minutes early and were so fast! This included an 1 1/2 hour drive to my destination. Overall, great moving company and highly recommended. read more

I'm now convinced that your stuff will get jacked up regardless of who you hire. Pretty sizable dent in the top of the dryer. Told the lead guy as part of the "walk through." He called it in and said the boss will call you within an hour or 2. Never heard from the guy. Scraped the door frame of the old house pretty bad, some marks on our leather chair. Overall it was fine. They were fast and even worked in the rain. Gave them all a tip prior to going back to the old house to see the door frame damage. They also left several items and had to ask them to please grab other things. 3 stars is totally appropriate. It's meh service. Bottom line- moving is horrible. These guys make it tolerable but you're still going to have some pains from it. read more

If you value your furniture please look other moving company options! Both crew members grabbed my $1,000 dresser by the legs. The legs were ripped off and the screw holes were stripped. The crew members instructed me to make a claim for reimbursement of the dresser and stated "It's too heavy. This happens all the time." When doing the claim their customer service representative stated that the average cost of a dresser these days is $150 to $300 and are offering a refund of only $150 for my $1k dresser. If you have nice quality furniture consider using other moving company. Update as of 8/15/23 - Teleport came and picked up my dresser for "refurbishment". After one week the dresser was delivered back but scratched. They sent someone else to my house to "paint it over" The staff informed me that because of the wood pattern it was impossible to cover the scratches with paint and that Jonathan the owner was going to be informed and that he was going to call me back. After 3 days and after not receiving any call the claim department responded to my email that the case is closed and refusing to contact me. If you have valuable furniture I DO NOT recommend this moving company. You will end paying full service with a broken and damage furniture. Worst nightmare! read more

I had tasked my husband on finding a moving team because let's face it... neither of us are 22. They responded quickly and had some of the best pricing compared with 4 other companies. Let me start by saying we moved from a 1 bedroom w/ den so less than 1000 square feet into a 750 square foot 1 bedroom. We can't fit that much into our new place so we honestly were well prepared for them come moving day. They sent a text message roughly 30 minutes out. They have a huge truck which we only filled about 1/4 of the way. They handled all of items with care. Wrapped up the dresser and chest of drawers and even helped us move hanging clothes. They were friendly and quick with getting items in and out. I am so thankful for this company and the care they took. 2 hours and we officially moved from one location to the next. I usually rent a U-Haul and hire moving helpers. I priced out the cost of the U-Haul and the move helpers and it was actually MORE expensive for an 8-hr move and I would have to drive a large truck!! This time I went with Teleport - they brought EVERYTHING. Blankets, wrap, giant boxes etc. When I scheduled it, we went room to room, item by item to get an accurate estimate. We ended up moving a bunch of stuff ourselves ahead of time since it was a local move (less than 2 miles) and that shaved off a few hours for sure. The three young men arrived promptly, introduced themselves and were incredibly polite. My entire house was chaos when they arrived and they didn't blink an eye! I am so pleased to have it all done!
