This will be a very honest and fair review. First zero in customer service! Wayne is rude, condescending and inappropriate to customers, with zero regard for their time! He gives a time and date to return but then leaves you hanging! No call, no excuses just take his crap or have no AC! I'd never, ever use this company again! First had to call at least 10 times with no return call for several days! They did a shotty incomplete job to start with so had to call and call and pray someone might answer. Finally Wayne replied and he completely had no care for it being 105 degrees with small kids in the house and a disabled mother. This maybe one of the worst AC repair company I have ever dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them. First let me say that I am not one to leave reviews, but because of the horrible service I received from this company I needed to warn others to stay away. To give you an idea of my experience, my AC decided to stop working the Friday before one of the hottest weekends of the year and I have two little kids. With over 100 degree temps expected I was in urgent need to get our AC fixed as quickly as possible. Luckily, our house came with a home warranty. I submitted a claim and FASTWAY was assigned our case. Not only did they not call me to schedule an appointment, which they are supposed to do within 48 hours, I had to leave 3 messages and call 10 times before getting through to an actual person. At first the guy I spoke to on the phone was sympathetic to my situation and tried to work with me to fit us in so we wouldn't be without AC for a long period of time. But, he ended up "accidentally" hanging up on me and then didn't call me back for over an hour. When he did get back to me, he told me he would get to our house later that same day. But, he never showed. In fact, I had to repeatedly call and text to get something scheduled over four days later from the original claim. (I should add that this was not due to my schedule, but the company's.) Finally, when they did show up the crew arrived in a plain white pickup truck that didn't have anything identifying their truck or company. It made me nervous to let them into my house, but I was desperate to get our AC fixed. If you can believe it after all that hassle, the two guys that showed up spent five minutes at my house. They replaced a fuse, but didn't check anything else on the AC unit. Once the unit started "working" they collected my check and took off. I am not exaggerating, they were at my house for five minutes. On top of that, the second guy that came, whom I believe was the owner though he never said his name, spent the entire time at my house on his cell phone. The worst part of this debacle is that my AC unit hasn't been blowing cold air ever since they "fixed" it. I again had to call FASTWAY three times (and left two messages) before actually speaking to someone. I explained the problem and he told me that it would be another claim towards our home warranty and that I would need to pay my deductible if I wanted him to come back to my house. I explained that his guys never checked anything on my unit and I have had this problem since it broke and his guys "fixed" it. I asked him to look up my file and see what they did at my house to confirm what I told him, but he explained that they don't track those kinds of things. I'm sorry, what?! He and I went multiple rounds on the phone and he even told me I was being "nit-picky". Quite honestly, he was the rudest person I have ever dealt with and didn't seem the least bit interested in helping me. I would NEVER recommend this company. It was obvious from their horrible service that they will do the bare minimum of work and charge you the most for it, if you can even get them on the phone or to your house. Go somewhere else for your AC repair because FASTWAY only wants to line their pockets with your hard earned money. read more

Our air conditioner went out when it was hotter than hell in August. We called Wayne and his team and he was prompt to come out and tell us that at the age of our unit we needed a new one. This was not a surprise because the unit we had, had a blown compressor. He installed a new Goodman unit in our home and we are very pleased with the unit. Wayne was very good at explaining why he would recommend a Goodman instead of a more expensive unit. He explained how while more expensive units are nice and would work they were unnecessary because they cost an arm and a leg if something goes wrong and many times are less efficient. The Goodman unit that he installed is quiet and works very well. I would recommend Wayne and his team to anyone who needs HVAC repairs or replacement. They are knowledgeable and will not rip you off. read more

Wayne was great, he quickly diagnosed a problem and had it fixed and the fan was working again, but then he proceeded to look further into my AC unit and discovered I had even more problems coming my way soon including a loss of power and made sure to fix everything he found before leaving! We had this unit installed when we moved in about a year and a half ago. June 12th we had no cold air coming out. WE called the service number from our receipt, the tech that answered told my husband he would call him back in 20 minutes, he was in the field driving. 2 hours later when we had no return call I was calling the number again, AND THERE WAS NO VOICEMAIL OPTION!!! We tried several times before I said screw it and we had another company come out the next day. I called my home warranty company to send a contractor out to fix our AC issue. It has been over 100 degrees this week in the Inland Empire. The first contractor could not get out for over a week so the warranty company was able to locate Fastway as an alternative. I am so glad that they did. I received a call from the owner the same day to schedule our appointment for the next day. He gave me a window of 10am to 2pm. He was extremely friendly over the phone. He explained what the process would be, asked a few questions and thanked me for the business. Not only did they come out first thing(10am), the very next morning, but the issue was resolved within thirty minutes. He was very friendly, efficient and customer oriented. It was refreshing to find someone who can not only do the job but still makes a point to provide excellent customer service. Thank you for getting us back up and running Fastway. I had quite the contrasting experience with this company. My a/c broke the first day of that two week long heat wave we had in mid-August. I searched for a local a/c company online; spoke to several and the soonest appointment I could get was eight days out and they said the service call alone would be $189 and any parts or repairs would be extra; then my wife reminded me that we have a home warranty that covers a/c repairs. She called the home warranty and they assigned the work to Fastway. I got a very friendly, welcoming call from Fastway within minutes of placing the call to the home warranty company. He said: "I just wanted to introduce us to you and let you know that we have been assigned to get your a/c fixed for you. Our schedulers are working on getting you on our schedule now, I will call you back within an hour with an appointment time." He then proceeded to ask me what kind of problems we were having with our a/c...etc. We shared some small talk and ended the call. Not more than 10 minutes later I get another call from him; he tells me he can have a technician out to my house between 9:00 and 10:30am the next day! Great news after hearing that no other a/c company could get to me for eight days. I get a call from the servicing tech the next morning at 8:15am he says he's running a little early and will probably get to me just before 9:00. He shows up a couple minutes before 9:00 in a completely lettered company van, shakes my hand, introduces himself to me and hands me business cards. He starts to explain to me in detail exactly what his troubleshooting process will be and gets right to work. Within minutes he finds the problem. He replaces a couple of parts in the condenser and viola the vents are blowing cold again. He wasn't here for more than 10 minutes before having me running again. I asked him if he would mind looking at another issue while he was here and he very politely explains to me that since he is out hired by the home warranty company he is limited to what he can do. He says they only pay him to come out and fix the actual failure. I completely understand but then he says: "show me whats going on, I don't mind taking a quick peek at it and offering advice." He spends 10 minutes checking temperatures at vents, air flow direction...etc. He explains little things we can do to improve the efficiency and usage of our system...etc. I pay him our $70 service fee and off he goes. I could get mad because I paid him $70 for 20-30 minutes worth of work but what was my alternative? I should be happy that he got out to me sooner than eight days and only took a few minutes of my day to get my a/c working again. I have realistic expectations and I don't expect anything for free. This company was friendly, professional and very good at what they do and I will refer them to anyone with an a/c problem. Thanks guys, keep up the good work! read more

I rarely have reason to rave about a business, but Fastway absolutely deserves it! Last Thursday night right around 10pm our AC unit started stuttering and the temperature in the house gradually increased to 86 degrees overnight. I called up my home warranty and was notified by 7am that they were dispatching to Fastway. We were extremely stressed because it was a holiday weekend, and Friday was our 2 year old's birthday and we had plans for the day and really needed to leave our house by 9:30am. I was able to talk with Fastway before 8am and considering our circumstances they made some schedule adjustments and were at my doorstep before 9am! They were super friendly, polite, left no mess, and were genuinely concerned about not delaying my little one's birthday plans. Fastway was prompt, efficient, and my AC is running better than ever. I couldn't believe our horrible luck when our AC went out at such an inopportune time but Fastway came in and saved the day. Frankly it was truly refreshing to get excellent immediate service like that. We sincerely thought we would be stuck without air conditioning for the weekend which would have meant an expensive hotel stay considering the 108 degree weather. We were prepared for the worst but got the best! I highly recommend this company and definitely plan to give them my business in the future when it comes time to replace my AC unit. read more
