A must stop forsure! We stayed in flagstaff for a weekend and my family made it a daily stop all weekend for the delicious coffee and so many bagel options. The drive thru option is amazingly convenient and we did this on the day we planned an early drive to the Grand Canyon. They have a variety of coffee options and milk alternatives Service is amazingly efficient both drive thru and inside. The staff was great and I will be recommending this place to anyone I know forever. Ps. If you are a fan of blueberry, I 100% recommend blueberry cream cheese on a blueberry bagel. Perhaps not the day to visit, but was definitely expecting more based on the reviews. I got the lox me- which was flavor wise significantly better than the Kienne which just tastes like boiled or canned salmon with cream cheese and cucumber- no added seasonings. And all of the bagel options we had the bread was quite dense and hard chew, ended up taking the tops off and eating it as an open sandwich. The Miss Piggy was awesome flavor wise, but again, all the bagels were quite dense. Unfortunately it smelt of burnt toast and the occasional weird unpleasant waft of who knows what. Staff was super nice though and the brown sugar cinnamon iced latte was bomb- I'd come back for the coffee only. We also got a pastry with cream cheese and ham and it tastes of the quality of a Walmart pastry. Overall it fills you up, but definitely underwhelmed with my experience. Cant say how it places up against other regional bagels, but not up to my expectations. I'd give 2.5-3/5 depending on what you get. That latte though? 5/5! read more

The service is quick and friendly. I had the lox bagel sandwich. I was thrown off by cucumber with lox but all in all, it was yummy. My partner had the Philly steak sandwich and boy howdy! It was very flavorful and had a great cheese pull! I will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches. They place printed labels on everything (like Starbucks) which is a nice high tech feature. My wife thought the bagel a little on the hard side, while I believe in happy wife, happy life, I tried it and I thought it was really good. Sometimes people don't really know that a real bagel has a solid outside, chewy inside. New bagel place in town finally opened in between the owner's other restaurant's locations. Of course at first the place was packed, but it's slowed down a little now. Inside is small, but has a good vibe to it. I appreciate the drive thru option especially on my way to work. Staff has been very friendly. The bagels and schmear are very tasty, but on the small side which is me reason for a reduced star. I like the location and since it's on my way to work, I'll probably stop by on occasion. I stopped here on my drive to KCMO because my daughter loved it when she drove thru Flagstaff on her way to CA. I had to try it and I must say... best everything bagel in my 54 years of life!! lol I asked the opening staff on Tuesday 3/31 if they could wrap up a bagel for my daughter, luckily I brought my cooler. The newest bagel joint to join the community of Flagstaff. This drive up bagel spot is changing how Flagstaff does breakfast. I stopped by recently with my brother and best friend to grab a meal before making the drive back to Phoenix. I ordered their turkey sandwich on the asiago bagel. This was topped with swiss cheese, avocado, tomato and coleslaw. While this menu item was yummy, the true star of the show at Fat Bagels is their breakfast sammies. I was able to sample my brother's Miss Piggy, a bagel loaded with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and pistachio mortadella. In the future, I'd probably order this route instead! There's seating available inside the restaurant, but it's also super convenient that they have a drive-through for grab and go. They also have a seperate menu loaded with caffeinated goodies. Arrived in the late morning and it was very busy! The drive thru line was to the road, so we elected to order inside. Walking in, we enjoyed the ambiance and plenty of seating. Ordering was very fast and our food was quickly made, even though there was a rush. We got the Miss Piggy and Leo (added sun-dried tomato cream cheese and cucumber). Both were really good! We'd been eyeing Fat Bagels since it opened, and this past Friday morning was finally the perfect time to try it out. Knowing it's owned by John Conley (of Fat Olives and Salsa Brava fame), we came in with high expectations, and it absolutely delivered! I had the Miss Piggy, which came loaded with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, hashbrowns, applewood smoked bacon, and pistachio mortadella on a toasted asiago bagel. It was deliciously indulgent--worth every bite! The fresh-squeezed orange juice was also fantastic and lived up to its name, bursting with freshness. As a bonus, the sandwich portion was generous, so I saved half for the next morning, and it reheated beautifully in the toaster oven (and I'm picky about leftovers!). Our only issue was the excessive amount of cream cheese, we each scraped half the cream cheese off so we could taste the bagel. Interesting with the eggs they're square and they're completely cooked but it's not a conventional egg. It's an egg mix that's cooked off then cut into squares much like you would sheet pie or sheet cake, cheddar cheese and was Excellent really good. Coffee regular brew kind of weak but still good orange juice was fresh squeezed a bit expensive but I can see the cost. Service was fantastic and the place was clean. What else could you ask for? I have absolutely loved Fat Bagels and my partner and I go in every once a month or so but today was so incredibly different than I had experienced. While the bagels were fantastic, the gal that rang us up was incredibly rude and perhaps even racist. She refused to put my friend's name (very clearly a Mexican/Spanish/Latin name) on the order (said 'Ok' and then rolled her eyes) and then told us they do not do iced coffee (which was fine) but made us feel bad about getting an Americano instead. My husband have visited Fat Bagels a couple times. The bagels are good but I don't recommend breakfast sandwiches that have eggs. On our first visit my husband and I split a bagel breakfast sandwich that included egg, avocado, sausage and maybe onion. It might have been called Kaitlin. The sandwich tasted very good but the eggs looked weird because they were a solid layer of uniform color. I later found out from the manager that the eggs were precooked patties heated up in the microwave. On our first visit we also split a sesame bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. Fat Bagels offers a variety of cereal cheese flavors. The bagel was fresh. I like that Fat Bagels offers a choice between light and dark roast coffee. We choose light roast and it was good. The staff is friendly The parking lot is not huge, nor is the interior seating. In our first visit we came right before the 2:00 closing. We got a parking spot. We returned on another occasion and had bagels with cream cheese. The bagels were fresh and tasty. This is a good place to get fresh bagels. I would avoid the microwaved eggs. Rate 4 read more
