Such a cute and delightful spot! Service was fast, friendly and helpful. I had a lot of questions since it was my first time there. They answered all my questions and had good recommendations. They make some great goodies with a Filipino spin! For my first visit, I tried mini sausage buns, Cinnamada (cheesey cinnamon rolls!) and cake slices (the San Rival is ). Everything was beautiful and flavourful. Must return to try more.

I'm Filipino so I always get super excited when I stumble across small Filipino owned bakeries and man did this place blow me away. They are a little pricy here imo (for the empanadas) but you will not be disappointed. I bought a dulce de leche cupcake and I'm usually a frosting hater so I was a little skeptical since it looked heavy on the frosting, but once I bit in I was delighted by how light and moist it was! I also got one chicken and one pork empanada and they were both delicious. My favorite between the two was the pork. The crust was rich and flaky and the filling was super authentic, reminding me of what I've eaten growing up. The interior is also so cute, it smells amazing once you step inside, and the girl with the hijab working the register was really nice as well. I ended up purchasing a 6 pack of half chicken half pork empanadas to take home to my family!! 10/10 will be back soon :)

Went with a large family group for dinner because the menu had something for everyone, including…read morevegetarian options. We ordered fish & chips, souvlaki, hamburger, Alfredo pasta and chicken Caesar salad. Portion sizes are large. No one had room for dessert. The fish and burger were pronounced outstanding, as was the house white wine, the souvlaki was acceptable but could have used more seasoning, the Alfredo was not a hit. The average for food was 3 stars. The atmosphere is welcoming with comfortable seating, stone topped tables and lots of wall murals featuring renaissance artworks. Service was outstanding and made for a positive experience overall. The uneven quality of the meals is really the only drawback - if you have a large group with diverse tastes it would still be an excellent option.

Rude staff when we complained. And I quote " We can't take orders until we finish serving your drinks" We asked for milk and cream for coffee. The server forgot. When we reminded her . She slammed the bowls on table Food arrived cold on stale bread, totally unappetizing Can not recommend this restaurant A celebration ruined by this experience.

The restaurant takes up one side of the building on the first floor. There is a little shop when you first enter and then the restaurant takes up the back part. This is not a roomy place. Small tables for 2 -4 people take up 2 rooms. Environment is relaxed and casual. Good selection of teas from the classics to herbal and wellness teas. In addition to afternoon tea platters there is also a lunch menu in case scones and tea sandwiches were not your thing. What was ordered; The Tea Room High Tea with a pot of Irish English Breakfast. The verdict? Food was okay. Scones were amazing and light. Served with a side of jam and clotted cream. Service was attentive. Note there is a seating limit of an hour and 45 minutes. Your plates are cleared as you finish them and the bill will appear at the appropriate time. Experience was okay. It's a nice place to meet up with friends for tea.
