When I went to fresh at around 8 o'clock, it was pretty much empty. This is helpful to know cause the next time I go I'll know that I won't have trouble finding a seat. I want to preface that I am not vegan, but I absolutely love the Cobb Salad here. The chick'n and tempeh really make the salad. I was also debating between two dressings. The house or the 369 dressing and my waitress was kind enough to offer both to me at no extra charge. I also loved how their menu had a glossary and it described some lesser known food items on the menu. Everything from the service, food and ambiance was great. I am for sure coming back for the salad and hopefully I try out other items on their menu too! read more

I have recently grown more fund of vegetarian/vegan food and think Fresh is one of the good ones. They have great and friendly staff , great vibes and a patio suitable both for summertime and winter. I have eaten at Fresh 4 times in one month...and this is from a person who is super anti vegan food lol. I decided to give them a try since I kept hearing how good it was. Well, I am officially a believer. This place is soooo good. Here is what I've tried so far: Quinoa onion rings I don't even like onion rings. However these ones are battered and seasoned so nicely, there's just something about them! They're a great app to share. Dumplings I appreciate the spice here. The dumplings are filled with spinach and I like spinach, so I really enjoyed these. Dragon fries You actually get quite a lot in this and I love all the flavours. Especially the chillies! Tiger bowl She's the star of the show. I just love the soba noodles here so much. I love the texture and how they pair nicely with the sauces. The crispy tofu cubes?!?! Yo ok, I cannnnot get over how good these are. I don't know what they are seasoned with, maybe nutritional yeast?? They have like a cheese taste to them. I could eat these like chips. Everything about the bowl just goes so well together. I love that I'm getting my veggies and protein and I do not miss meat at all when I'm eating this bowl. The aesthetics of the resto is also beautiful. For the most part service is quick and friendly. I did have a server who treated me different than the other 3 people in my group on one particular visit. And not in a good way. It was really odd and even the other people in my group noticed. Nice staff, friendly clean atmospheres. They are very polite with takeout orders. They always make sure to ask you if you need cutlery or hot sauce. The orders are usually always on time when placed online, unless they're very busy. Overall, very positive experience here at the fresh in Sherway. Btw, there is no entrance from the mall. You hafta exit near the Starbucks and walk outside to enter near Sport Chek. Menu is easy to follow and everything is veg/vegan. They even have Happy Hour & Brunch Specials. Service was very pleasant, as with the relaxing, nature-y, boho atmosphere. It reminds me of a lot of those veg eateries in Europe. Prices are slightly more than what you'd pay at the food court nowadays. If you're looking for a healthy, vegan-friendly restaurant, this is a great place to go. But purely based on a taste perspective, this was just okay. The salad I ordered had tofu (which tasted sour), avocado, greens quinoa and other veggies. Even with the dressing it was mediocre. They could have at least added salt and pepper to the avocado, or perhaps marinated the tofu in a more flavourful sauce. Ever since Fresh introduced their brunch menu, I'd been salivating over the prospect of their Green Eggs Burrito. So I was pretty excited to finally order it on a recent Sunday afternoon at a location I'd never been before. After successfully placing my order, our waitress returned and said the Green Eggs Burrito was no longer available. You couldn't have told me that before I sat down? And before I ordered the dish? It was pretty infuriating, honestly. But my dining companion had already ordered, so I figured leaving wasn't really an option. I perused the menu, which I had to ask our server to bring back, and decided to go with the BBQ Burger ("house-made grain burger, bbq sauce, quinoa onion rings, garlic mayo, napa cabbage, banana chilies, tomato, lettuce"), and I requested that as a wrap. It arrived a short time later and it's pretty good. The various components work well together and the barbecue sauce is unquestionably delicious. And it's very tasty as a wrap, too. The problem was that it arrived to the table room temperature. So did the fries, actually. The food had obviously been sitting there for a while, so nothing tasted super fresh. (Ironic, no?) I enjoyed the food regardless, so I guess I can't really complain. But I do think this location has to improve its service. Fresh at Sherway Gardens is a new take on the traditional plant-based chain of restaurants that have been around since 1999. While the original restaurants were hip and trendy, this new location show its more mature and refined side. The menu has been further expanded, offering an extensive selection of plant-based brunch items, pizzas, starters, tacos, burgers, wraps, salads, bowls, juices, shakes, smoothies, desserts and more. In my first visit, I ordered the Cobb salad (tempeh bacon, crispy chick'n, avocado, marinated farro, vegan feta, tomato, red onion, mixed lettuce) with 369 (sweet & savoury, tahini, maple, lemon) & tahini (tahini, garlic, tamari, lemon, sunflower & flax oil) dressings on the side, and The Beyond Cheeseburger (Beyond Meat burger, special sauce, lettuce, chao cheese, pickles, red onion, tomato, alfafa). I absolutely loved the Cobb salad; the tahini dressing provided a very creamy and rich experience, while the 369 dressing provided a much lighter take on it; the flavors of all ingredients went very well with other, with great texture as well. The cheeseburger was good; it would had benefited from more of the special sauce, as it felt a bit on the dry side. In my second visit I ordered nachos (cashew queso, mushroom & artichoke chorizo, pico de gallo, jalapeno crema, shredded lettuce, avocado, red pepper, cilantro, pickled jalapenos, crispy corn tortillas), spicy ham + pineapple pizza (tomato sauce, cheese+, mozza, ham, pineapple, red onion, pickled jalapenos). The nachos were a tasty appetizer, perfect to share with others. The pizza was also very flavorful and tasty; a little bit more of cheese+ and mozza would had been great. Service was attentive and on point during my first visit (weekday), but terrible, absent and lacking on my second visit (weekend), so they definitely need to up their game and provide a more consistent customer experience. Loved it! First of all, the restaurant itself is GORGEOUS!! We just loved their patio. We stopped here on the way to Toronto from Waterloo. We knew we wanted a healthy lunch and as vegetarians, this place was perfect! There were so many delicious options to choose from, but ultimately we went with the soup of the day, quinoa onion rings, and 9-layer burrito. The onions rings are a must! The other two items were really tasty too--both flavorful and very focused on celebrating delicious vegetables and legumes. In fact, we enjoyed our meal so much that we stopped on the way back to Waterloo as well--this time indulging in a couple of smoothies. I got the "Hello Gorgeous" which is loosely inspired by the Hailey Bieber smoothie. It was super delicious and filling! My fiancé loved his protein packed smoothie as well. We were in Toronto for the day and did a Google search for 'vegetarian restaurants near me', hoping that the big city would have options our small town 2 hours east of Toronto did not (aka...anything vegetarian/vegan!) Fresh restaurant blew us away. I love coming to Fresh. The food is always amazing. My favourite is the weekend brunch deal: $20 for a fresh juice or smoothie and an entree. The staff is always super friendly and immediately ask if you have any allergies. As someone who cannot eat dairy, this is the one place I can go and not have to worry about removing specific ingredients due to intolerances. The setting is very light and airy and boho. Fresh is one of my favourite restaurants. And when one opened up near me I was ecstatic. Wasn't expecting much as it's a restaurant in a mall but was pleasantly surprised with the environment, drinks , and they do not miss with food.
