I ordered fat boys pizza while staying in the area for work. This place is PICK UP ONLY!! No delivery, no dining in, only pick up. The pizza itself was excellent, thin crust and loaded with toppings! Ordered a pizza thru yelp delivered by grubhub and it was left on the porch in the freezing cold with notification it was there. Discovered two hours later. When ordering, I unchecked the box for contactless delivery but did not leave instructions for the driver to knock or ring a doorbell. Grubhub doesn't know how to deliver food and fatboys doesn't care what condition their food is delivered to you. I suggest using neither ever again, unless you prefer your food cold.​ read more

I finally got around to trying this place. I had a 4 meat topping. I'm not sure about the crust. It was difficult to eat. It's slightly chewy and crisp at the same time. Difficult to eat. I don't know why. The toppings were ok. Not my favorite. Maybe someone else likes it. BTW, they are open Sunday (limited hours), and they have a table for 2. ....I've been thinking about that crust some more. Maybe they didn't let the dough rise or maybe the yeast was bad. What would cause dough to be super chewy? I'm sorry I had to take away a star until I try it again. I will go there again. I really can't recommend a place that I really have a hard time going back to. read more

Fat Boys has quickly become our favorite take out pizza place. Always comes out correctly and timely. We love the drive up convenience not to mention the pizza is delicious with thin crust and a tasty sweet sauce. Sandwiches are great also and we like their "specials" they offer. Noticed recent reviews are lacking. It's true when Fat Boy's first opened they were lacking, but now it is my go-to for pizza. They have really improved as a pizzeria, and I'd put them up against any pizza place in the area. My wife loves their strombolis as well, and actually prefers them over Pizza King now, but that's no knock on Pizza King, their stroms are great too. Stop wasting your money on chain pizza establishments, that's just a general statement. Stop wasting money on any chain restaurants. read more

I'm from out of town and ordered a sausage and double jalepeno pizza. The first thing I noticed was the crust...it's perfect fresh made crispy and chewy at the same time if that makes sense. They didn't skimp on the toppings and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time and I have been to Bianco's in Phoenix. Excellent food but very short service hours make us look elsewhere instead of eating there many times monthly. This is getting old. Would be really great if they expanded into a real diner with decent hours to serve the people that are truly trying to support them. I have been trying various pizza places in Evansville since moving to the area about two months ago. My experience with Fat Boy's Pizza was around 20SEP19. The pizza is alright, but nothing special; it was much better than the pizza from where we moved from, Greenville, KY, but that is a pretty low bar to surpass. Too, it was somewhat on the expensive end. If the quality was there it would not be much of an issue. There are much better pizzas to be had in the Evansville, IN area. read more
