I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I never had milanesa in a burrito before until I came here. The burrito was huge and tasty.

Wet tried Fat Burrito tonight and we were very happy with our dinner! We usually take out Mexican food every Saturday and our favorite go to place has been closed. Looks like we've found our new spot! read more

Extensive menu here, but they are known for their gigantic and surprisingly affordable burritos, most of which are drowned in white cheese sauce. There's nothing like 'em in da region. read more

I have slowly made my way to eating here EVERY DAY over the last month. I can't stop eating the steak tacos!

I placed an order with grubhub for a Quesadilla dinner and a Chimichanga I received a taco dinner and Chimichanga . I called the restaurant and told them I received a taco dinner in error rather than a quesadilla dinner .I was told that's how they make quesadillas she's the one who made it and packed the bag . Obviously I didn't receive quesadillas. I told her I know the difference between quesadillas and tacos and I just simply wanted what I originally ordered . She was so rude she told me I could there and she could show me how she makes quesadillas. She was never apologetic nor took into consideration that someone might have made a mix up . Needless to say I won't be ordering from there and by the way food wasn't that great there's way better places in the area for good Mexican food try Asada they are great ! We placed a phone order and spoke to Gia, she didn't get our order right after repeating it to her 4 times. All we asked for was a Fat burrito, steak and beans only and a regular burrito dinner with steak only, suiza. My wife went in to pick up the order and spoke to Gia. Gia asked if she wanted and red or green sauce. My wife asked for 2 red sauces and Gia proceeded to place 2 green sauce into the bag. My wife stopped and asked her if she was placing the sauces into another order because sbe asked for red, not green. That should of told us to check the order before we left for home. After unpacking, we come to find out it was all wrong and was charged for it. We never got the dinner, that includes rice and beans. Didn't get my Fat burrito as it was supposed to have cheese sauce on it and missing the beans inside. We immediately called over there and got the run around and finally asked for the owner. Luna" the owner" finally called back and didn't want to give us ger name at first, but after being hung up by her 2 times, she really didn't have a choice as we wanted it for our records so when we check to make sure she voids the transaction. Will never go back to this restaurant anymore. Very unprofessional and thought it was a joke / game to them. This was actually not the first time they screwed up our order, this is the 4th fime this year. Chances are all gone for them. They need help. read more

They get 3 stars because their food is excellent. The food is closer to 5 stars. The service not so much. Second time in a row we had a mix up with our order. Didn't call and complain the last time. Figured it was a lost in translation issue. This time I noticed our bill didn't reflect would have been ordered. I called attention to the waitress and was blamed repeatedly for the mix up. I thought it was an honest mistake but waitress wanted me to pay for the mistake along with what I originally ordered. Mind you my original order was double what she was currently charging me. The waitress was insistent on blaming me and I had enough and ask for a refund. I honestly believe it was another miscommunication issue. They definitely need to reevaluate how they treat customers. read more

Went to try out Fat Burrito due to the raves online. Big DISAPPOINTMENT. Salsa and chips that came when we were seated were like eating a shaker of salt. We had ordered combo steak and chicken fajitas dinner, the "Fat Burrito" dinner and a gordita with chorizo ala carte. Let's start with the fajita. Very little steak(3) pieces and a whole lot of chicken(10) pieces which needed less salt and more seasoning. The rice was good and beans were good also but not to rave over due to lack of seasoning. A nice side of guacamole, lettuce, diced tomato and sour cream for the fajita making process was very fresh and plentiful. The Burrito was typical burrito fare nothing to comment further. The gordita was good, crisp and flavorful. However, they use the same chorizo as you can buy in the store, not a big fan of this kind. The seating area was clean and very small 5 booths and 5 -4 top tables and servers were on point and prompt. The Verde sauce was very good and on the mild side. The roja sauce was also very good. We have dined at several family owned Mexican establishments and "Fat Burrito" is so-so on our list but to each their own. read more

Ok I guess. Sure is no Memo's though. Food is bland and while Memo's never went out of their way to decorate, Fat Burritos took a step back and the place feels 'funky' inside. No Liquor and bland food... meh read more

I ordered a veggie fat burrito expecting a burrito filled with veggies. Management informed me that it is supposed to contain rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, and tomato. I received a burrito with half rice, half lettuce, five pieces of diced tomato, five pieces of diced avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and NO beans. For $13. Would not recommend. We will not return. Management offered no solution other than "Have a nice day." read more

Food was very good....when we finally got everything in our order....service not so much. Waitress took our order and then sat down to eat her own dinner. Amazing. A true diamond in the rough burrito joint. Menu is moderately priced and the burritos come as big as your head. Not only will a fat burrito make you full, but it's probably one of the best in the area. Friendly staff. Dine-in or carry out. Very impressed. read more
