This place has the best gorditas. The hot sauce they have are great and spicy. If i had to take away a star it would be for the decor. It's somewhat ugly and not very well decorated. However, the food is amazing and since this is the pandemic we are doing take out only, it is a non factor. This is authentic delicious mexican food. Most people come here and get takeout from what I've gathered. The inside is quite small and is always packed! I mean come on all the tacos are a dollar! My husband and I each tried chicken and a beef. They were both pretty tasty but I would say the chicken was the best. Place is pretty noisy, doesn't look superbly clean or anything but I would definitely call it a dive. Sometimes the places that are dives have the best food. So I've been going to the restaurant for a while now never had a problem, until today I ordered a torta and they gave me a burrito. I went up to the lady and I told her that they gave me a burrito instead of a torta. So they called the girl that ring me up and ask her what I asked for and she looked at me nervously and and said that I ordered a burrito. I arrived at 6pm, I ordered $60 worth of food. All the $5 orders received there food before me. I tried phoning my order in and I was on hold for 10 minutes. I finally received my food an hour later. Both the milensa and the gordita was burnt black. I had to ask for a new one and I was given an attitude for it. Waited an additional 15 minutes and I wasn't given an apology or offered anything for my wait. If I knew I was going to wait an 1h15 for my food I could have made it myself at home. Love this New Mexican Resturant by Indianapolis Blvd. It's an easy miss. But it's located right next to Family dollar and ABC wireless store. It is an affordable place and the food is just to die for. I found this place being better than chipotle menu options. Plus it's real authentic Mexican style food. Decent number of food options and real quick great service. It's a small place since they are just starting out their business. I love trying their everyday specials.
