Stopped by the Football Hall of Fame and decided to grab a bite to eat after. Fat Head's had a terrific review and offered the chance to use Yelp to put your name on the call ahead list. Always a win! Overall, agreat casual dining/bar like atmosphere. If you're familiar with Bubba's 33, it reminded me a lot of that. While I didn't get a picture, we got the pepper jack bites and onion rings for an appetizer and both were fantastic! Highly recommend. For dinner, amongst the 6 of us, we each got a sandwich/burger. While I didn't get a picture of everyone's meal, I had the fatty melt which was Fat Head's interpretation of the Patty Melt. One of the best I've had! The sandwich was perfect - cheese, meaty, crunchy and saucy! Must try. Overall, if you're in the area, and looking for bar food, give them a try! read more

Cool place typical of brewpubs. Big beer menu of course with a solid food menu as well. Been a couple times now for lunch and dinner and always seems busy. Not much of a drinker but I thought I'd try this place for dinner by myself. Hostess acted put off because I didn't want to sit at the bar. (Place was not busy) Waitress was prompt and professional. Can only comment on the food from what I saw. I couldn't eat the undercooked cold bloody piece of meat they brought me. I can say it was a processed patty NOT freshly pressed on the grill. Bun was cold to the touch. Very few mushrooms and no gravy or sauce. I think anyone who orders a mushroom Swiss burger is expecting more than a piece of cheese and some plain mushrooms. It could have been delicious but I truly doubt it. I never picked it up it was too undercooked to consider eating safely. Waitress was apologetic at least offered to get me something else, I declined to order anything and left the restaurant. read more

I stayed down the street from this well know brewery so I wanted to give it a try. I arrived as the dinner rush was just finishing so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were busy but took the time to talk through various beer options to try. I ended up getting a small (sample size) of the Stumble Berry Imperial Honey Ale. This was the perfect choice (they let me try a couple different ones) as I'm not a big beer drinker and this was smooth and light with a distinct blueberry flavor. I highly recommend. The menu had lots of options - sandwiches, burgers, chicken dishes - but the item I got that stood out was the Corn Ribs. They quartered an ear of corn length-wise and roasted it in Parmesan. It was delicious! Also got a Bay of Pigs pulled pork sandwich. The bartender warned me that the sauce was super hot so I got that on the side. She was not kidding - it was spicy! The atmosphere is very busy and loud - typical sports bar. I'll make a return visit if I find myself in the area again. read more

The restaurant is an open and more of a brewery feel. It has a very laid back, comfortable atmosphere. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The margarita was very good. I had the patty melt and I would have to say it had to be the best burger I have had. It had to be one of the biggest burgers that is not a special burger. The meat was edge to edge of the perfectly grill rye bread. The burger was a perfect medium rare and very juicy. My wife had the aloha chicken and she really enjoyed it. She has dairy and gluten allergies and they were awesome about it and very accommodating. I highly recommended it. read more

The food and beer were just ok. Having fruit flies hovering around my table wasn't appetizing. The pizza plates weren't clean. When needing extra napkins we asked the bus help for them he said he'll let our waitress know never got em. I should rate a one but I'm not that cruel. Management wake up insects in this place is a serious issue. One phone call will correct this! read more

This place is loud and the tables are packed way too close together. The service was ok, and the food is ok. A few of the beers are not too bad, to each their own. Maybe it's just this location. This location is ok if having a beer at the bar or on the patio in the warmer weather. However i do enjoy the original location in Pittsburgh, much better atmosphere, food and beer. Not sure why? Great beer! Great food! Huge, comfortable space. Bartenders and servers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Hands down the best burgers around! They also have dynamite wings and sauces and pretty terrific salads. Pro tip: on the beer menu, if the logo for that specific beer looks "generic," that's a beer that is only made at that location. read more

We recently visited Fat Heads for the first time since the covid19 pandemic. We felt very comfortable and they did a very good job on social distancing and you can see they really care about making sure everyone felt good about it!! This is one of our favorite go to bars as they have a huge bar and it is a fun atmosphere. The patio is also a great hang out area in the summer time!! Oh and it's dog friendly so there's that!! They even bring your pup some water to your table. Everyone is extremely friendly and oh don't let me forget we love the weekly specials. Every time we see their weekly specials on Instagram we are sold. We are regulars and we aren't ashamed of it. Check em out you won't be disappointed!!! Matter of fact we will be back this weekend. I found this establishment nice and the front desk was a joy to joke with, our table was clean and the waitress was wonderful and extremely helpful. I normally am the DD and my wife is the beer connoisseur, that being said she had a couple of flights to try different flavors. I would recommend that if you come here ( and I would recommend it) come early as they fill quickly. read more

While staying in the adjacent hotel, dined in and ordered take out four times over the course of six days. Beers and atmosphere are a 10/10, even while busy bartenders were as attentive as possible. Everytime I ordered take out at the bar, the wait was significant not due to them being busy but because they do not differentiate call in orders from those placed at the bar. Food was cold 3/3 times after asking the bartender to check on the order, highly recommend this be addressed. Best wings I have had in a long time (even cold), but do not recommend their flatbread pizza and the spinach/artichoke/chicken appetizer. Flatbread is not great and was burnt both times. read more

This place is conveniently located in a good size plaza with large parking space, so parking is never an issue here! I have always been a fan of Fat Head's beers and usually bought them in 6 pack at local grocery store. They have brewery machine in the store. so hey why not try the freshly brewed beer? The beers were fresh, but came out lukewarm... which was a big disappointment. Foods were pretty great though. I loved their chicken wings. I understand that they probably don't intend to serve lukewarm beer, so I will give it another try in near future. read more

We were looking at driving to Rootstown to eat but stumbled upon Fat Heads in Canton. We are from Pittsburgh and only have visited the one on the south side. We decided to go here. Arrived as they opened which was great for us. We sampled a few different beers before I settled. Was hoping they had a Hazy IPA but they were out. Has to be a popular one. We got our beers and order our food. The food was amazing. Much better than I remembered the last time we visited the Pittsburgh location. This place is enormous in size. They have lots of room to sit. They have pool tables and other activities. Great location, free parking in the plaza. read more

I have been a Fat Head's beer fan for a long time and when I heard there was a brewery near where I was visiting some friends I had to check it out. The concept was awesome, very open, lots of TVs and TONs of good beer. What surprised me the most was how good the food was though. I got the bacon cheese burger and the garlic parm seasoned fries. It paired so well with the beers I had and needless to say it didn't last long. We had a great time and I really wish they would open one in Columbus.
