Pretty good. Atmosphere can be dead at times but it's good for a small town place. Best food in town no questions asked. Place is a little run down though and the servers can be on any end of the spectrum. Great food though. Recommend the nachos for something quick. read more

Don't hesitate to go here It is a decent experience for the money. We go now and then. The atmosphere on the dining room side is abysmal, the service is spotty but the servers are super nice. The pizza is quality but not great. Their chicken wings are small cheap food company bottom dollar quality but they have an awesome garlic parm sauce on them which makes them hit the spot. Just know that this an old small town place where you can have a good time, but your food is not going to be homemade or fantastic in any respect. read more

I loved this place! Family owned and family ran. Great food and great vibes! Janelle was our server and we absolutely loved her. She was friendly as well as knowledgeable about the menu. I had the black and blue burger. Seriously the best burger I have in a long time! We ate too many of the small plates of fried yummies but they were all soo good. I highly recommend this place! Normally people write bad reviews because of the service. This is the exact opposite. Our server was extremely nice and had our menus, drinks, and food out in a quick amount of time. Given there wasn't hardly anyone there given the location, but nevertheless. When I got my drink I had gotten through about a third when I looked down and noticed black whatevers floating around in my cup, the serve apologized and quickly brought me a new drink. No harm done eventho I was a little grossed out. It happens. I order potato skins and honestly I have had better out of the freezer section. Speaking of freezer section I also order the pizza burger and it was probably the worst thing I have ever eaten. The sauce was served cold on the side and the burger tasted like it came out of the frozen food section of aldis or save a lot. The only good thing about my food were the fries. My friend ordered the shredding chicken, the texture tasted like slop with next to no flavor at all and her son ordered chicken fingers, also tasted freezer burnt. We came here as a recommendation but will not be returning. I really hate leaving bad reviews but this has probably been one of the worst meals I've ever had. read more

This is where my mother chose to eat on Mother's Day. It was a very busy Sunday morning but our waitress arrived right away and took our drink orders. She explained the specials, She was very friendly and made recommendations. Our drinks arrived almost immediately and we placed our order (two orders of spaghetti and two Fathead Burgers.) All food was an appropriate temperature and the burgers were cooked the way we liked them (medium). The fries were a little soft for my taste (I like them crunchy) but that's a matter of preference. Salt and vinegar made them awesome. Even though we all ordered more than we could eat (okay, except my husband who is a skinny boy who can put down food like nobody's business) but still ordered a piece of homemade strawberry pie to split. It was some of the best strawberry pie I've had in a long time. The longest wait was for our check, but we had good company, conversation, and a nice atmosphere so no worries there. If you are the type of person who likes a good, small-town, locally-owned, burger-and-beer place give Fathead's a try. If you like huge burger greasy awesomeness with a side of fries, get the Fathead burger. If you're in a pasta mood, the spaghetti is straightforward, basic, and extremely tasty. They have a great drink selection and we've never had anything but friendly service. We will make a conscious effort to put Fathead's on our regular rotation. read more

Awesome hole in the wall. Food was cheap and amazing. The ambiance isn't spectacular, but the food made up for it. I had the chicken parm sub and my husband had the italian sub. They were super heavy and full of delicious ingredients. Definitely hope to come back someday. read more

This restaurant has personality. The waitresses are friendly and efficient. Their Fat Head Burger is about as good as it gets. They must have some special seasoned grill that makes these burgers awesome to say the least. Pizzas, Italian sandwiches and a great chef salad with their sweet onion dressing are great! read more

Went here this past weekend with my husbands side of the family. They live in Tiffin, so it was a short drive. Fat Heads is a local bar/restaurant with quite of items on their menu (sandwiches, pizza, fold overs,etc). We got the taco pizza; which I'm always a sucker for.... So I loved it! This is the second time I have visited Republic and second time I've stopped by this local gem. The staff is friendly and attentive. Their ice cold pints are literally ice cold with a nice layer of frost. Great deal/value on the steaks, seriously, a porterhouse under $20, wow I might come back just to order one of those. Went to Fatheads tonight and what a disappointment. I ordered the seasoned sirloin. The dinner salad was good but, that was all. The baked potato was on the small side and very thin skinned. The sirloin was tough and grizzly and had no taste. I told the waitress about it but wasn't even offered another steak. That was absolutely the worst steak I have ever had. I had four bites of the steak and that was it I ate part of the potato and the salad. The waitress took $5 off my bill so that meant the house salad and small baked potato was worth $11. Not worth it at all. You take your chances at this place. Good luck! read more
