Service was horrible. We walked in & had to wait several minutes to even be noticed or acknowledged. The inside of this place was ok.. needed a little music or something to live it up. (No customers inside) Once we were "assisted" the guy was so dismissive & short rushing us thru our order. This was my first time here - my teenagers wanted to try it. I was so put off I got their food & just didn't bother ordering for my husband or myself. My son was disappointed with his sandwich (he got half a fat cow & thought it was small). Ok it's late and I wanted to try something new. I looked around on map and found this place near the hotel. I checked the menu online and decided to give it a try. First impression: it's in a very dark shopping center, because no other businesses were open and maybe it's a Colorado Springs kind of thing I found the city doesn't like to install enough street lights. Even shopping center look dark and I can't see very well in the dark. I miss turns so many times. The cashier was ok and took my order quickly and informed me that it would be about 10-15 mins. Lot of young people came in either pick up online order or just ordered at counter. Only 3 tables in the back, all occupied I couldn't sit there and eat my sandwich. Very small establishment. I ordered Fat Shack. Overall the sandwich was loaded with lot of item: cheese steak, chicken finger, fried, and onion rings. The sauce was honey jalapeño mustard which for me was on the sweet side rather then spice. I had to say I couldn't taste too much of anything because it had everything. It created opposite effect. Fat Shack lives up to its name in the best way. Right up front: I will keep coming back for the fries alone. They may have the best texture and flavor I've ever had. Perfectly crisp, great texture, and a rich balanced flavor that requires no condiment. The rest of the menu lives up to the name. There's routine fare available, but the signature items are sandwiches layered out of lesser meals. All hold their own against any local competition. The signage touts "late night done right." Aside from time it takes to make one of these monstrosities, that's a defensible claim. Fat Shack is indeed a great choice for satisfying late night munchies. read more

However I mentioned it to my husband and he was hungry and curious to try something different. Small place in a strip mall, nice employees and creative menu. You can get normal burgers and appetizers, but this place is known for it's Fat Sandwiches. Husband ordered Fat Chance, it was cheesesteak, poppers, chicken fingers & fries all in one enormous sandwich. Lots of other combinations.
