Excellent Kosher food! Cute little restaurant and the staff were very kind! Seems a little pricey per plate but you get huge amounts of food! Enough for a couple days! Loved the chicken... even the green beans had a special flavor! I would definitely go back to try something else next time. Very fun to try! Also the little Israeli market next-door has a great selection of snacks and candies, etc.. There's even a butcher over there.

We just visited Fata Morgana and it was quite the experience. We ordered the hummus appetizer, garlic fries and the Pita Lachmajoon (juicy beef on an open pita with tahini and matcha on the side). First impression is that the servings are huge. The hummus was original with a sliced boiled egg and jalepeno on top. Overall hummus was excellent. When the sever asked do you want the regular or large garlic fries (go with the regular) the large was huge. They were crispy and very tasty (overall excellent). The juicy beef lachmajoon was disappointing and the server made us another order. It was described as "juicy" but was very dry. The reorder was excellent (it was very juicy and favorable). I think the first portion must have been sitting under a heat lamp and should not have been served. As for ambiance, don't turn away from stopping at a strip mall because it is well worth it. I would also say it's closer to 3 dollar signs instead of 2. Overall this was an excellent food experience and we will come back to try more menu items. FIMP "Food is My Passion"

Delicious delicious delicious! Hummus with mushrooms are so good. Creamy hummus goes so well with mushrooms and onions. The bread for the hummus is so fluffy and warm. We could not stop but have to stop because this appetizer is huge and we need to have some rooms for the main dish. Sabich is huge and delicious. Fata chef sandwich is so delicious. The sandwich has schnitzel, thin slide of egg plants, and the bast part is the matbucha, spicy tomato and roasted peppers. The portion is huge so we got some leftovers and we also got baklava to go.

Came in to get a gift cars for a birthday and they were super helpful and the menu looked amazing. They also had boxes of fresh baked goods which made a perfect addition to the gift card. They have a small patio outside as well. This was a hidden kosher gem that I never even knew was right in my neighborhood.

The food here is consistently tasty, with reasonable prices for a kosher meat restaurant in Scottsdale. The modern vibe and Israeli music add a nice touch. Service is quick, but it's more relaxed than typical American standards. One concern was the automatic 18% gratuity added for our party of three. It wasn't clearly mentioned on the menu or told to us beforehand. I would have left a 20% tip, but the lack of transparency about the charge was a bit off putting. Staff wasn't sure about if the charge was even added when asked. I might have just not caught it but would have liked to have known before hand even if I think they did deserve the tip.

I'm pissed at myself that it took me so long to have food from Fata Morgana! As a New York Jew, I was supremely comforted by the authentic food here. Got a lot of takeout that included pretty much the entire menu- shwarma, chicken, rice, pita, challah, hummus, babka, Israeli salad, date cookies, cabbage, and more. Also had a sabich sandwich, an Iraqi Jewish sandwich consisting of pita or laffa bread stuffed with fried eggplants, hard boiled eggs, chopped salad, parsley, amba and tahini sauce. I will say my favorite thing that I tried was the pita bread. It's so soft because they steam it, something I'd never heard of! If you're looking to get one item, I recommend this sandwich! Also appreciated how rich their babka is. It was the most moist, most chocolatey babka I have ever had, including homemade ones. All things Israeli found here! Authentic, high-quality, and comforting - what more could you ask for!

We went after seeing the other good reviews and, as always, Yelpers usually don't miss. We were quickly welcomed and seated. The menu is straightforward, with a nice mix of Mediterranean foods. We had the Chicago gyros, chicken schwarma, beef kofta, lemon rice soup, tabbouleh salad and fries. All were great, but the fries were outstanding! I've eaten a lot of fried potatoes in my life, and really none better. They rounded out the meal-hot, fresh, crunchy and soft. Perfect! If I had to have a "complaint," the lemon garlic aioli on the schwarma was a bit too much, get that "on the side" so you can manage that. Otherwise a great meal. OPA!

Inside & outside has a lot of seating but it is pretty lackluster inside decor wise. It probably does better for take out. Food wise it fell pretty short. I was excited to try a new local business and I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food so I figured why not go somewhere new. The gyro combo (not pictured) comes with fries and a drink. Compared to other local gyro spots, this one was on the smaller side. The flavor was good for the gyro meat but dry. Unfortunately the fries lacked flavor, had no seasoning, and was dry. My boyfriend said they tasted like they came straight from the freezer. The kafta kebab plate (pictured) comes with hummus, pita, rice, salad, and garlic dip. The kafta again, had good flavor, but was dry. The hummus really tasted super bland and the olive oil flavor didn't stand out. The pita was chewy and flat, also dry. The Greek salad again lacked flavor, seasoning, and dressing. The rice was good. The garlic dipping sauce was a highlight. Overall I am not sure if they were having an off summer day but there is another restaurant locally that I love and does these dishes better so I won't be returning to Bethlehem Kitchen.

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.
