Great menu, warm welcome. Take out place. Has a couple of tables to eat in. 1st time, was impressed by the variety of choices. Most of the barbecue food you can see it's already been cooked, in a warmer...all Looked fresh: brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, rice and beans...they all looked fresh. So many choices, had a difficult time making our decision. Me & spouse both went with brisket and a few different sides. I had the baked beans and the Gouda mac & cheese. He had potato salad and something else, I don't remember. Both came with cornbread which supposedly was just made. Being that most of the food was already made, you would believe that your meal would come quickly. That was not the case. Also we were the only people there. The food took way too long. When we got it, it was hot and the service was incredibly friendly. There wasn't a whole lot of flavor going on. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't good barbecue. Lackluster. It was a decent lunch with generous portions and decent price point. And that's why I would come back. I would probably try some other menu items. read more

This is very disappointing spend almost a $100 on 3 sandwiches that were supposed to come with sides( they didn't), store bought cornbread, Mac and cheese (cold but delicious, corn nuggets ( fried in old oil and all crushed, chili fries ( fried in old oil no cheese no chili) and 3 1/4 size cakes. We will not recommend or sponsor this place again. Hopefully they do better with other customers. read more

Worst BBQ ever be canned beans and there was a roach in my brisket I wanted to die my son's had the chicken and waffle the waffle was burnt once we found the roach or should I say bug in my brisket we threw all the food away couldn't bear to eat it I should have known when we went in and ordered the food the place was dirty and the owner is a nasty person if you read his response to other reviews it's unheard of I can only imagine what he's going to write about my complaint. I usually do not like to leave bad reviews but this calls for it. we recently purchased some barbecue from Fatboys BBQ. I don't know what they think barbecue is, but this is not it. The ribs had no flavor at all no barbecue sauce. They were full of fat. The macaroni and cheese is probably the worst I've ever had who put Italian seasoning in macaroni and cheese? Disappointing to say the least. I ordered a Brisket sandwich on a roll with a soft drink. I received a tiny sandwich in a plastic bag with a can of Diet Coke for under $20.00. The sandwich was dry and Brisket had no taste. It had a little of their barbecue sauce but nothing to give it flavor. The roll was nothing more than a hamburger bun. It didn't come with any sides and I wasn't asked for any either. To be honest it was one the worst Brisket sandwiches I've ever had. If you want excellent barbecue, go to Riverhead and Stop the Maple Tree Barbecue. They have some of the best dishes on the island. For $20.00 there you get the Texan. An incredible Brisket sandwich with sautéed onions and cheddar cheese on a toasted bread. They offer 3 different sauces to choose from. You also get a side and drink.
