Fatty's might have the best staff and pizza in town. At the very least, they're tied for first on pies in town. The Spicy White pizza in particular is a thing of beauty. Not much going on inside the joint but tables and chairs and a lonely arcade, but if you need to sit down and stuff your face by the slice or by the pie, Fatty's is great. Staff is always one step ahead, cutting the kids' pieces in half and bringing drinks to the table. Specials most days of the week and prices are nothing to complain about. read more

The pizza and wings are great! Tried many different pizzas and not one has been bad. Everything we have tried is worth eating. The staff however is not as great. If the food wasn't so good we wouldn't go back. 2 different associates are never nice and welcoming. One being a girl that we have seen straighten her hair in the restaurant, and sit and eat with who I am assuming is her child (which is no big deal) but then go straight behind the counter without washing her hands or putting gloves on before touching things. Tried to call for delivery, and said the guy said he "can't do delivery" as it was 45 min before closing. He asked if I wanted take-out, then said "fuck it" and hang up on me. Really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but here's why I didn't. Pizza was under cooked, made the crust doughy. Pretty scant on the topings, had order mushrooms on one pizza half, could literally count maybe 1 to 2 mushroom pieces per slice. Canadian bacon slices where paper thin. Overall, a very disappointing experience. First, when I called up to place a carry out order, the lady taking my order stated that she would go with a different size (more expensive of course). I was stunned into a weak response of excepting her choice. I have felt bad about it ever since. I have never had someone working at a restaurant tell me what to order. The pizza itself was certainly nothing special. I only wanted to try it because it was not one of the "chain" pizza shops in this very small town. The dough was tight, and a little tough. The pizza here is amazing! This by far is the best pizza that I have had outside of New Jersey since I moved. Being that I travel for work all over the country, it means a lot that this pizza was as good as it was. The staff and delivery driver or prompt and professional. Servers were nice. Crust was nice, but slightly overdone. The toppings were too skimpy. Pizza was very much lacking. A friend told me they gave it a 2nd try and asked for extra of everything. This is some of the best pizza I've had while on the road with my job for the past 5 years. My favorite is their White Pie (Olive Oil, Garlic, Sundried Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, Feta Cheese, Mozzarella, Parmesan, White Meat Chicken) - It is amazing!! Pizza can be purchased by the slice or ordered whole - the slices are very large (New York Style Pizza). My husband and I ate there on a Sunday and the noise level was slight. I did a take-out order two days later and arrived 25 minutes after I called (they said give it 25 to 30) and my pizzas had not been placed in the oven yet. So I had a bit of a wait, but it was very much worth it. The noise level while I waited was pretty high (they were quite busy). Nothing special in pizza restaurants: lots of average cheese on decent fresh soft white dough. The restaurant itself is just a vacuous large since with little adornment or style other than a tall counter separating the ovens from a large useless corridor out of proportion for dining. Service - well it's self serve- just go to the counter for your pizza and they will efficiently take and dispense your order with no smile and no emotion - it's just a pizza transaction or rather cheese and other stuff on dough-nothing to get excited about. Get your slices and move on. Only where can anyone sit: in the corridor? Oh I get it they really want you to order take out and not linger. Lingering is bad here. Had I known this I would have just gone to Safeway and gotten a frozen freshetta or California pizza and heated it up at home. There would have been more taste, flavor and better service plus there would be a nice place to eat it in my home without having to bother the Fatty'z. And what's with the Z at the end? Great pizza with lots of cheese and just the right amount of sauce. The pizza crust was made fresh and was foldable as New York pizza crust should be. We ordered a house salad and it fed four of us. The salad had lots of olives, feta cheese and shredded mozzarella. The service was fast. We will visit here next time we pass through town. read more
