Fantastic food. Huge menu. Huge food. Best value in authentic Mexican cuisine. If they would open one in Caldwell, I would eat there, daily. Currently open in Ely, Elko, Winnemucca, Twin Falls, Jerome and Mountain Home. I swear the standard $9 burrito weighs over 2 lbs. We always get a carnitas burrito and a machaca burrito. Food is delicious! They have a big variety of food, if you order their street tacos though, beware because their portion size is huge! They are big tortillas, and their meat portion is alot. Seriously the best Mexican in Mountain Home! There's a few other places in town that aren't authentic, and have taken a modern spin to Mexican. Rolbertos is authentic, fresh and delicious. I've never gotten something I didn't like from there. The customer service is amazing. They remember who we are and what we like to order and what we don't want included on our food. Ran into this place randomly in the middle of nowhere Nevada and found out they have more than one location.... What a hidden gem. If you like legit Mexican food, don't pass this place by. It reminds me of a mom and pop tqco stand where you might find the special of the day written on a paper plate. The food is freshly cooked, not scooped out of a meat bin and slapped on a tortilla made weeks ago in a factory. The flavor is pretty good and they have a nice little salsa bar. The prices are not outrageous, and now that I know this location is here, I plan on making it a stop when I pass by. You can't go wrong with the carne asada fries.... Rolbertos is great because it is a drive through joint that is open late! I love the convenience of just waiting at the drive through for a giant meal. Overall what I expected (which is good). This place is similar to Roberto's back home in Las Vegas. A large menu of burritos, quesadillas, asada fries, plates, tacos and more. The price is slightly high...but given how thick the burritos, quesadillas and portions are it's worth it. This is a Mexican restaurant and Drive thru in town. First off, I'm not a huge Mexican food fan, and have not been impressed with the few places I've been to in town. We ordered two chicken chimichangas and a small crisp beef taco for the kiddo. Portion size was huge! The hubby thought it was just "ok." There was definitely a lot of moist chicken, although in general not a ton of flavor. I usually NEVER eat refried beans, but kind of liked theirs(I ate them). I liked the salsa bar. It had marinated carrots (yum) and weird tasting cucumbers that I did not eat (not fresh.) The taco was tiny and crunchy. Decent. I would have to go back before I add or take away any stars. But I think it's a fast food type of place, so I'm not really thinking the quality would be like a nice sit down place. read more

We stopped here randomly coming home from Boise and happy we did. We order the chicken and the pork carnitas tacos. Both were very good and I loved the seasoning on both meats. Such a great experience, we had to write a review! While traveling from the Pacific NW to the South West, we needed a good dinner on a Friday night, in the middle of unfamiliar territory, so of course we looked up reviews for nearby eateries. I just came back from California and the food there is always on point. I was craving for some mexican food and decided to FINALLY give this place a try. I didn't expect much out of it since most places in mountain hime aren't that great. I ordered a carne asada fries with extra meat.. they sure gave me a lot of meat which was nice. But the whole presentation of it was horrible. Taste wise, it was ok. I had to make burritos out of it since it just didn't look like Authentic carne asada fries. I might be mean for doing this... but I posted a comparison of my Cali one vs theirs. Ohhh this is funny!! But I have to say... This review is not entirely for the place and food itself. But towards, I believe her name was Marthalena the cashier. I go to this place about 2 to 3 times a week. I've been going since they've opened. Haven't has any issues at all. Until tonight. I placed an order and when I got home, it wasn't correct. So I drove all the way back and just asked them to remake me something else. She took back the order to the cook and stayed quite the whole time. She then hands me my order and doesn't say a word to me. I go back in my truck and it's wrong again. I wrap around to the drive thru. I inform her my order is wrong and that I would like my money back. I wasn't about to place another order. When I handed her my order. She has the nerve to tell me that it's not my fault they didn't get the order right. I tell her there is no reason for her to even say that. Just to hand me my money. Now I was being nice to her up until her remark. She continues to argue with me when I just told her to give me my money back. I ask for the owners name. She then tells me, " Yeah go ahead and complain, he's my uncle. Do you think I'm scared." Now that is a ridiculous, immature unprofessional response in the restaurant business! I asked her if she's been in Customer Service before. Because she needs training on how to deal with customers. The most upsetting thing is. I always go there and had never had an issues with her and I always tip $2.00 everytime and I'm always nice to her. So it goes to show if someone returns food because it's not correct or if someone complains. She lashes out and throws the fact that her uncle is the owner. Most menu items are good, but do NOT recommend the bacon breakfasts burrito. Tried a few different times to order this and request extra crispy bacon since the bacon was practically raw the first time. 2nd and third times asking for extra crispy and extra extra crispy was told no problem and still raw bacon. We stopped at Rolberto's while passing through Mountain Home ID. The outside of their building looks run down so it could scare off some people, but the food is very good here. My wife got two fish tacos that had bigger pieces of fish than most places, and my shredded beef and bean burrito was huge - I could only eat about 2/3 of it. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. For their fast food prices, it should be better. Paying $10 for 2 tacos, rice & beans, it should be good. But! When your tacos are 80% chili's and 20% beef? Ok, some food although over priced, is good. But! Rolled tacos (taquitos) are not home made. They are the same ones you buy frozen at Walmart.
