I only requested mold removal because I have an allergy and can't do it myself. The finished service was well beyond my expectations. The carpet looks brand new. I have never had my car detailed before and did not know what to expect, but Fatz detail really cleaned the car so well it looked better then when I first bought it. After they cleaned out my motor my car has never ran better and looked more shiny. Most importantly it used to smell of smoke and after taking it in here you would never have been able to tell. Five stars is not enough for this amazing business! Detail work -- Amazing does not describe the miracle that these folks performed on our 2002 BMW 325i. We just moved to Gig Harbor from Southern California (car care heaven) and I promise that the Fatz folks do a better job than any company in West LA, Beverly Hills or the Valley. For so much less as well! AND they do magic with clearing up the headlight glass that gets clouded after years in the sun. Unbelievable. We've had this car since it was born in 2002 and have taken good care of it. Our son sat in the car seat in back when we bought it. Well, our son grew up and drove it to high school. The car got the teen treatment -- grime everywhere. Sweaty running clothes strewn in the back seat for weeks, sticky sugary drink spills, you name it. For two years the car endured this love. Now son is off to college and we can reclaim the vehicle. THANK YOU Fatz folks! We never thought we'd see a clean driver's armrest. In fact, other detailers in the GH/UP/Tacoma area said it could not be restored. False! The Fatz folks hand detailed the entire interior with so much love and attention-- it's indescribable the difference before / after. I wish I had taken before pictures but I will post the after shots. Go not further than Fatz. They have various grades of service. We went for the full treatment which, surprisingly, included headlight glass restoration. I've never had a detailer offer that and it's included in the price! Headlight restoration (if it ever really works) alone costs hundreds of dollars. (I shouldn't say that lest the price go up). The glass is not perfect but it's 80% better which is saying TONS. I couldn't drive the car in the PNW winter at night because the headlights were so cloudy. Now they shine appropriately. I feel safe again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

I had a good overall experience with Fatz, great customer service but just expected a little more with the end product...I got the interior detail and really wanted to focus on getting the fabric as clean as possible, which I mentioned before I left. I've had some odd experiences here. First off, all the staff have been very friendly and accommodating. Customer service is great. My first experience, I picked up my vehicle after a full detail and realized they missed both stainless steel custom exhaust pipes. Each pipe is 16 inches long, fully exposed and tough to miss during the day. Hey, we all look over stuff. In their defense, the detailer said if anything missed or unsatisfied to let him know. I was home after dark before noticing and did not want to deal with the hassle of returning across town. Not a huge deal. The rest of the car looked great. Second experience was a little more concerning. We scheduled an exterior detail and dropped off vehicle in AM. Later on, we stopped in early to pay. Our car was not on site. The detailer told us our vehicle was nearby to be cleaned. We turned on our car tracker and discovered our car at the Classy Chassis car wash. We were not told the vehicle would be driven, let alone be taken offsite to the self/auto car wash. I could have done that myself and refuse to take any of my vehicles to these facilities. Our car is brand new and did not need to be sprayed down or debugged, iron removed etc. Again, the people working are very nice but I feel this place is more focused on turning over as many cars a day as they can. Fairly disappointed to discover our car located at the car wash when we dropped it off at a detail shop, specifically to avoid these places. read more

After working for a car dealership for a couple years, I know how much a good detail will cost and how a detail is supposed to look. I randomly stopped by to see if they could squeeze me in and luckily enough someone had just asked for another date. So, now comes the fun part in knowing how much this will cost. They thoroughly explained what each price included and were very polite and helpful during the process. The part that blows my mind away, is that a full interior and exterior detail only being 200.00 for a car just blows my mind away. Most places start you at 299.00 and go up from there. So with that price it's hard to pass up, and left my car with them for the day. I come back to find my vehicle almost like I bought it. When I say I was shocked, it wasn't an understatement. There has been times I tried to clean certain parts of my car that I finally gave up to not getting it how I like it. They took time and care of everything inside and outside. I personally drove around town just because it felt so good to be in my car again. I couldn't reccomended this place enough! We had the interior of the car detailed, and they did not disappoint. They were really good about calling us with updates on our car, what they were currently doing, and an estimate of how long it would take. I also appreciated they gave us a rough estimate upfront so we weren't shocked how much their service would be. In the car, there was some stubborn dirt stains, and some mold that was growing inside. My experience with Fatz was absolutely fantastic. I delivered my car and was given a ride back to my home to pick up another car for the day. Their employees were cheerful and new exactly how to deal with my water spots all over the car from being outside in the dealers lot for three months. The car was already beautiful but after they finished with it I was amazed. One of the guys was also very struck by how good it looked and said he wanted to take a bite out of it when he was polishing it. LOL. It's a bright red Cadillac SRX and it does really catch your eye. Maybe I'm just a bit biased. My wife jokes that the car is like a new girlfriend. My Subaru was really really bad. Coffee and dog hair and mud everywhere. They not only did the absolute best with what I gave them (especially as subarus are really hard to get dog hair out) but they did it on one of the hottest days of the year. 100+ degrees. No dog hair! I needed a deep clean as I just had a baby and they did a great job with a fair price so baby and me will be comfortable. Will definitely use them again. read more

I wanted to get my husband's car detailed and searched for a place with great reviews before landing with Fatz. I had a good experience purchasing a gift certificate and left a 20% tip so it would be an easy check out. We had an appointment on a Saturday at 8am and they did a great job with the detail but my biggest issue is when it came to payment. My husband asked if there was a tip already included and he was told, "No. We prefer cash." The person working said it with such certainty and my husband would have tipped over the original amount anyways, but they didn't bother to even double check if this was a legitimate honest mistake. The certificate process is handwritten and could have easily been researched. I sent this feedback already to Fatz and never received a response. I love supporting local businesses but not at the expense of dishonesty on something so minuscule and this did not sit well with me. read more

I recently brought my 1998 Subaru in for a detailing. In the 21 years I have had this car I Have never had a professional detailing and when they were finished I was amazed at how good it looked. Honestly the interior looked like new and the only reason the exterior didn't was some scratches that a cleaning couldn't get rid of. But the overall appearance of the car was great and they gave me good advice on how to deal with scratches, chips, etc. I will definitely go to them again to keep my 21 year old car looking new! read more

Fatz Detail is fantastic. I dropped my boyfriends dirty old Ford F150 off for an interior detail. It had been probably over 2 years since it had been cleaned and there was a ton of pet hair. Fatz took great care of it, removed all of the gunk, pet hair, and even shampooed the seats twice! It smelled and looked amazing, especially for a used truck. Their shuttle service is great too. We bought a used car as a surprise for my niece's 16th birthday and needed it detailed right away so we could present it to her the next morning. They fit us in on short notice and did a BEAUTIFUL job. They were very attentive to detail, getting all of of the little nooks and crannies around the gear shift, cup holders, etc. They shampooed the floor and scrubbed the mats, and did a great job making the outside shine.
