Good ambiance and very quiet setting compared to the Montclair store. Service was good and I didn't need to wait too long to receive any service and drink refills. As for the food it was good French cuisine. We had the Wagyu sirloin and duck l'orange. Very good plating and presentation. Cooked perfectly and the portions were good. Overall this a great location for a quiet dinner or date without having to deal with NYC or other busy parts of NJ. Parking was a breeze too.

I have been wanting to go to their Montclair location since a long time and so glad they opened one in Weehawken! I was super excited to see their dedicated vegan menu and the variety of options they provided. We went to a friend's farewell party and we all had a blast! The cocktails are great here - we tried many of them. I loved mushroom tarts flambee and the server suggested me to order gnocchi and squash which as well I loved it. The service was great and the ambiance is trendy. I would return here to try their brunch menu once.

We had dinner Friday nite but the restaurant wasn't crowded probably due to a labor day weekend. We enjoyed the heirloom tomatoe salad which was sweet and savory. The creamy liguine tasted ok. My chicken with barley, corn and peas were dry and I had a stomach ache afterwards. I think the barley was little undercooked. The lemon sole and the grilled shrimp dishes were all overcooked and the temperature of all the food came out not hot enough. Considering the price the dishes didn't taste good. But the service was excellent and all the servers were very friendly and nice.

My husband and I had brunch here the week that it opened and were impressed with the food, ambiance, and service. The interior is posh and modern with a beautiful bar area. Our waitress was so friendly and the pacing of the meal was perfect. We started with the red berry parfait, brunch basket (the pain au chocolat was definitely the favorite) and shrimp cocktail. For my main I tried the mushroom omelette, which was packed with mushrooms and cheese! Hoping to try the dinner menu next time we are in town!

I have been wanting to go to the Montclair location since forever!! When I got to know they have opened another location to weehawkan, for sure I wasn't making any more excuses! Ordered way too much so please refer to the photos, can't write the entire menu here ;) The ambience was very elegant, the servers were polite and the food was as good as I was expecting. The octopus was really the clear winner with fig tart right next in line! The fish was super soft and it was a great evening spent with friends! Want to try the brunch menu now ;)

Came back to also try their brunch and can also confirm it is equally good. Service was great during brunch as well which was much appreciated. The food is what keeps us coming back though. For brunch we went with the 2 course prix fixe. The main course was a crab benedict and it was delicious with great flavors. The prix fixe also came with a mimosa which was a nice little addition. Vibes were in line with our last visit - cute place and designed well. Benefit of brunch time is that you get to enjoy some natural light as well. Will definitely be back.

Recently decided to try Faubourg on a random Friday afternoon. I was headed there for lunch but to my surprise they have brunch Fridays and Saturdays. It was a beautiful day out so I sat outside. Not the restaurant's fault but I do wish it wasn't surrounded by buildings and you could see the view. Anyway, the brunch menu was cute and quaint. Its what I would expect from a french inspired restaurant. The server was very friendly however when she came to ask for my drink order, I wish she mentioned that the brunch meals came with a mimosa or bloody mary. I would not have ordered a separate drink. Nonetheless I started off with their Cremant. Which was very good! I did not do the prefix 2 course, though that is a very good deal. Instead I ordered alacarte and had the chicken and baby kale. It was very good. It was light yet filling. Everything tasted fresh. I would definitely come back for the brunch and I also would like to try dinner. My only gripe is that the restaurant allows people to have dogs outside when dining. I know we are in the era of bring your dog everywhere and I have no issues with dogs. In this instance, I sat near a fluffy dog and the wind was blowing. Quite a few dog hairs landed on my table and on my meal. This shortened my stay. I definitely would have stayed longer for another drink. There was also no where else to move so it turned me off and I did not finish my meal. I will still come back and sit inside if there are dogs outside.

Back at my favorite spot again. This time I visited for brunch! Exceptional food and service as usual. Definitely check out the prix fixe menu. You get a choice of elderflower or lychee mimosa, Bloody Mary, or juice. It also comes with a 2 course option. We all had the soup of the day, which was a mushroom cream soup. The egg white frittata and salmon were excellent. We ended our meal with a cappuccino and cranberry cheesecake. Simply the best!

Very yummy French spot which will undoubtedly become a hotspot in the area. The reaction of my own party and tables around me was a lot of oohs and aahs as we peeked at the delicious dishes coming out. It's one of those places where you probably can't go wrong with whatever you order. They also have a vegan menu on request!

As good as we expected - we are huge fans of the Montclair location. Decor is on point along with the service. Food is consistently great. Look forward to visiting this location again.

I take it all back. I can happily say that the move was well worth it! This new location is much easily accessible to the subway. About a 5 minute walk to the 8th Avenue stop on the A/C/E/L lines. I cant express how much this new location blows the other one out of the water. Right next to Little Island Park and everything else fun and happening. I've taken full advantage of what City Winery has to offer. I've seen shows the more intimate Loft upstairs and Ive seen shows at the main stage. I've also eaten at the restaurant. All solid experiences. If youre looking for a good meal when you are here for a show, I suggest making a reservation at the restaurant beforehand. When you do that, you get first dibs on venue entry. I also say this because the concert dining menu is small compared to the restaurant one. I can not complain about any food or drink I've ever had here. Its always top notch. I always get a glass, or 2!, of the Cabernet Sauvignon Select. Its my favorite wine of all time. So smooth. I was here last month to see Ann Wilson of Heart. My second time seeing here here. I had the Dip Duo with spicy feta, humus, watermelon radish, carrots, celery and pita. The pita was warm and fresh. The carrots and celery were kind of cheap for the $23 price tag. The hummus was bland but that spicy feta dip was the star of the show! So creamy and spicy. Paired well with the pita. I've sat both on the floor and in the balcony "premiere' seating. While theres absolutely nothing wrong with the floor seating (it can get a bit cramped at the tables near to the stage) the premiere seating is MUCH better and it's only $10 more. For the more intimate shows at The Loft, seating is on a first come, first served. The tables near the stage are a bit more money, but why spend more when the other tables right behind them are just as good, if not the same! At either stage, theres not a bad view to be had. The prices for food, drinks and tickets are totally fine. Staff are always super friendly. The place runs smoothly. Its clean and the bathrooms are lovely. Not enough stalls in the ladies room in the main venue though so be prepared for a looonnnnggg wait. Which made some females use the men's bathroom! looking forward to my next show at City Winery!

This renovated building on pier 57 has great views of the Hudson River and Little Island is right next door, if you want a little nature hike beforehand. Since it was a Sunday, there is free street parking in the neighborhood and we parked 1/2 block away. Our table for 4 was in the middle of the room facing the stage and the other 2 people at our table were no shows, as was the table next to us, so we had a great view of the stage. It did not feel crowded and the servers were able to cruise through the aisles, while slinging drinks & food. We were not expecting much in the way of food, but were pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good. Starting out with the Crab & Shrimp dip was a good idea. It was smokey, cheesy, crabby, shrimpy and perfect on slices of crostini. We also had the Cherry Syrah BBQ Wings. The server then brought out another plate of wings and said the kitchen had doubled our order, so the extra one was on the house. Cha-ching! It took a while for our entree to come out and the lights were dimmed for the concert to start. The server found us in the dark to bring our Truffle Smash Burger that we shared. The truffle flavor was strong and it took us a while to work down the pile of shoestring fries. Leonid & Friends played a repertoire of Chicago hits including "25 or 6 to 4", " Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is", and EW&F's hits "Fantasy" & "September". Lead vocalist, Ksenia Buzina knocked out a great rendition of Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". They really rocked the house! During the encore, Oleg the saxophonist came out onto the floor, climbed up onto the empty chair in front of us and blasted his horn! We had so much fun that night that I would definitely come back for another concert date night!

I came in on a Wednesday night at 8pm, it was empty and we were seated right away. The entire store and bar is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. There's 3 floors, the bottom floor which located another bar, the main floor which is street level and has the coffee bar and merch, and the top floor which included the Arriviamo Bar. Our server was very nice but didn't catch his name. We couldn't choose which drinks to get so we settled on the espresso martini flight which includes their espresso martini, double matcha espresso margarita, and ube espresso martini. * Espresso martini: tasted good, foam was perfect sweetness, can barely taste the alcohol * Double matcha margarita: good, matcha foam was good, you can definitely taste the tequila in this but they seem to use good tequila * Ube martini: nice sweet drink, but doesn't taste like ube at all (to be expected, but the ube cold foam on their regular coffee drinks has more of a hint of ube than this drink does) * Matcha butterfly pea swirl cake: has a nice dense texture, light taste of matcha, butterfly pea cream also has a thick creamy texture and a very light taste, perfect snack for a drink with a strong taste Overall good experience, would definitely be back to try the other drinks here and downstairs.

We were seated in about 5 minutes which was great and had the choice to sit wherever we wanted. We ended up getting the seasonal flight, a spring pea flower tart and a pistachio cookie. The food was good but it didn't stand out. A lil bit pricey as well for what you get. The flights are smaller sized than the normal drinks but that's what you'd expect. However the drinks were made well and tasted great. Loved the ube cloud drink the most. Overall a pleasant experience but nothing that wow'd me. I'd stop by to experience it at least once.

It was a fabulous setup with beautiful strung up lights lining the ceiling. While we waited to be seated we were given glasses of sparkling white wine. Our waiter told us that the space for the JBF LTD was donated by one of the JBF board members. Very cool. Eventually, we were seated at our communal table and were given a green garden gazpacho to start. It had pickled green strawberries which were surprisingly very good. Usually you throw the green strawberries out of the bunch and only eat the red ripe ones. David Kinch opened our eyes to eating this unripened fruit and I will never look at green strawberries the same! The soup was paired with vegetable beignets and a crispy vegetable chip - both were just perfect. Our next course was my girlfriend's favorite - an abalone salad nestled on a bed of romaine lettuce coupled with grilled cucumbers and an avocado-nori sauce. I loved the avocado-nori sauce with the tender abalone. The entree came next and was a succulent porcelet with the best crispy pork skins! It was served communal style which was kind of cool. There were two cuts of meat - belly and tenderloin. My favorite part was the skins. Dessert was a lovely popover with powdered sugar. Sweet, simple, and delicious. We had different wine pairings with each course and were semi-tipsy by then end of the meal. The best treat of the night was when David Kinch and John Paul Carmona came out and greeted the diners. They were both kind enough to sign my copy of the menu also. I'll be on the watch out for next years JBF pop up!

I always make a reservation to guarantee a table because this place gets extremely busy. While walk-ins are accepted, there's often a wait due to how popular it is. I personally love sitting outside, even during the colder months. The outdoor heating lamps keep things comfortable, and the views are absolutely beautiful. The service is consistently impeccable, from the hosts to the waitstaff. Every visit feels welcoming and attentive. The food is always fresh and well-prepared. The salmon is consistently excellent, and the truffle fries are a must-order for me every time. We also tried the non-alcoholic Bellinis, which were delicious and will definitely be on our order list for future visits. One standout from this visit was the butterscotch crème brûlée. I don't usually order dessert because I'm often too full after dinner, but this was absolutely worth it. It's officially a must-have every time I return. The only item that didn't impress me was the Caesar salad, which I would probably skip next time. Everything else was phenomenal. As for the ambiance, it's stunning from start to finish. Even the elevator ride up sets the tone for a memorable experience. Between the beautiful setting, outstanding service, and consistently great food, this is a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a luxurious dining experience.
