hype man (matcha, tequila, peach & apricot)

Hosted a work event at the Tippler and Nick was incredibly attentive with our large party. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday evening. We could hear everyone at the table. Our appetizers included a few rounds of chips & salsa as well as tiny chicken strips, onion rings, pizza bites and spinach/cheese philo pastries. I highly recommend the frozen margaritas (I had a mango lime) and the hype man which is a matcha, tequila, peach and apricot cocktail.

Cool drink spot under Chelsea Market - arched ceilings, exposed brick walls, dim lighting, cool crowd, and nice ambiance. The cocktails were good and the staff was friendly. They have couple of option for small plates but allow outside food. I went on a Wednesday night with group of friends and got seated right away. We ordered 2 rounds of cocktails - some cocktails were pretty potent but we'll balanced. Definitely recommend this place for date nights and hangout with friends.

The Tippler is located at the Chelsea Market but is not accessible via the inside. To get here, go near Los Tacos No. 1 and find the "open" sign. Then go downstairs and you'll see it. On the inside is a cool vibe with lots of brick everywhere as it's located in a cellar. My first drink was the crown juul ($16) which was an old fashioned with a sweet vanilla flavor. My second drink was the golden hour ($16) and they were right in that they are crushable. I literally finished the drink in 5 minutes and then proceeded to order another. It was delicious and if you only get one drink here, make sure it's the golden hour. I enjoyed the dimly lit speakeasy vibe. It was chill which was a stark contrast with the busy NYC streets just outside. Two words to remember: golden hour.

I came here for drinks before a show at Little Island. It's technically located inside Chelsea Market, but they have a street entrance on 15th street for easy access. The bar is below ground and has brick walls and a dark, low key vibe. You kind of feel like you're in a cozy cave. The day we came, they had a special on shots with Jäegermeister and cranberry juice. These were super sweet and kind of tasted like cough syrup. They were quite strong though, which isn't always the case with mixed shots. I also tried the Green With Envy cocktail. It's described as a "healthy Moscow Mule" and this was fairly accurate. The green juice came through in full force and it was very vegetal. This might be a nice alternative to a Bloody Mary and could be a good brunch cocktail, but it wasn't my favorite for an evening drink. My sister got the It Was All a Dream cocktail. It was a little too sweet and the passionfruit in it didn't really come through. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Definitely a recommended spot for groups or date night.

Really cute bar in a cellar near Chelsea Market!! Max capacity inside is still currently limited, so unfortunately you most likely will have to wait in a line outside. Once inside, there is lots of standing room at the bar, and several tables scattered throughout (you can order from either). Did not try any of the food, menu was quite limited, but the cocktails were delicious and were reasonably priced (for NY). "The Vibe" was their take on a margarita (my favorite), which contained two types of tequila, falernum (syrup), agave and lime- was not too sweet or too bitter. Would return here for drinks 100%!

The drinks were quite mid but it wasn't bad for stumbling upon this place on a random Wednesday evening. The pretzel was actually quite good haha and we also ordered some chips which were quite stale.

Very cool little speakeasy bar, loved the vibe and the drink options. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and the waitress brought our friend a special shot for her bachelorette party. Probably one of my favorite bars we visited! Would absolutely return :)

I came on a Saturday at 8PM. It wasn't too busy yet and friends were able to snag a table. The cocktails taste good and are decently strong. Decor is nice. I wish they had more food and snacks but they only offer pretzels and chips with salsa. The food menu led to another restaurant and I'm not sure how that delivery/pickup would work. The food by Chelsea market isn't open late. I tried "it was all a dream" on the regular cocktail menu and also the special cocktail of the day. Friends like this place. You can grab glasses of water yourself. As it got later, it got pretty loud.

Best speakeasy under Chelsea market, we went Friday before dinner for a quick drink and it was nice and empty. We got a table easily to grab some cocktails. Highly recommend their espresso martini!

This place can be a little tricky to find as it's outside the Chelsea Market but you actually have to go down a flight of stairs on the side to get there. The place wasn't too crowded though we had to stand for a bit before we got some seating. That being said it was very spacious, though that could just be because we were there on a weekday. Drinks were decent but nothing too special, given the city has so many great bars with amazing options.

A fun underground bar near the Chelsea market area! Opens up at 5pm, is definitely a great vibe towards the weekend. Drinks are fantastic and staff is amazing!

Yes. It's big. The cocktails are good. It's close to food if you either eat before or finish your drinks early. You feel me?

Awesome decor, but somewhat boring. There didn't seem to be much going on. Service was fairly quick, and staff was nice and friendly.

How difficult would it be to get in on a Saturday night with a group of 11?

Shouldn't be difficult if y'all all arrive as soon as doors open. That place is not that big and can get cramped pretty quickly.

    Is there good dancing music?

No...good music..but not really for dancing - atleast on a weekday when I visited.

$15 cocktails equates to a $$ pricing classification? How much are cocktails at a $$$$ bar, $25?

    A cocktail at the $25 range would still equate to "$$" The scale is: $= under $10; $$=11–30; $$$=31–60; $$$$= over $61...…

Is there a dress code, or is smart casual ok?

    No dress code. :)

My only two gripes with the spot were - they didn't acknowledge my birthday, even with a happy birthday from my server or the hostess. I am not sure why Resy prompted me to indicate the occasion if it wouldn't even be acknowledged or looked at. It obviously feels good to feel celebrated, so they dropped the ball in this regard. The second issue is it got sickeningly loud inside. This was a sunday night, and I ended up having to shout just to be heard by the girl right next to me. Everything else was good! Though there wasn't a dish that just blew my mind, everything was consistently really good and enjoyable. I recommended ordering a handful of dishes and sharing with a group. The cornstar martini was fun (and the popcorn was great!), the vodka pasta, caesar salad, and truff fries were enjoyable as well. The cute matchboxes were a cherry on top as we were leaving! I would come back for more of a going out event instead of a sit down dinner, but it's a cool spot!

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.
