This is way more convenient. I'm happy with the products and service. When I walked in there, I did spend time looking at many things prior to asking for help. It seems when you're In business , it's impossible to make everyone happy. If you jump up on your feet and help them too fast, they'll say you're a pushy salesman, if you wait until they ask for help, you're ignoring them. You cannot win. Very slow service. It took my contractors five weeks to get Newport brass fixtures for one small bathroom.

We stopped today, Monday afternoon. There were at least 5-6 people there working and no one acknowledged us, not even a hello. We took our time to look around, got zero help and just walked out. They seem to have a lot of products but not interested in selling more. In fact, we saw a few items we really liked but were turned off by lack of customer service. They were all too busy on their computers! Never been to a retail store where they completely ignore the customers. Very disappointing!! read more

These guys are amazing! Tony helped me out when I needed to replace a valve in an old shower fixture. I had purchased all my bathroom and kitchen fixtures from him when he was at another company many years ago. He had to special order the valve. It ended up being faulty after a few months and he quickly swapped out the faulty part since they now had some in stock. Crisis averted! I am forever grateful and indebted. Poor customer service- no follow through. When I voiced my dissatisfaction to the manager, Brett, I can see where the poor customer service comes from. He was not listening when I told him the problem, which was evident by the response he made to me. And, while all I wanted, was a "sorry for the inconvenience", I didn't get that. He might as well have rolled his eyes right in front of me, as I was expressing my dissatisfaction. No personality, not the person who should be dealing with customers. Not happy. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I NEVER leave yelp reviews, but I'm absolutely astonished at what I just experienced. My father and I are general contractors and have been doing construction in South OC for almost 20 years. We try to avoid having to buy fixtures at The Bath Company because even with contractor pricing, the cost is incredibly inflated, but sometimes (like the last time I purchased a drain square here about 6 years ago), you just can't find what you're looking for anywhere else. As I said, I have purchased a drain square here before, but had no issue other than its price. Today, however, the SECOND I approached a sales associate, I was IMMEDIATELY disregarded and treated as though I did not know what I was talking about, even after I informed him that I am, in fact, a contractor. After getting my dad on the phone, he gave us a nonsensical (and completely unnecessary) runaround, and I left with him essentially saying "I can't help you." It's not easy being a woman in the construction industry. This is an example of why. SO condescending. Needless to say, we're going to Hajoca for the part we need. They're wonderful. read more

I was referred by several different people to John at The Bath Co for our 2 bathroom remodels, and was not disappointed. Both John & Tony were extremely helpful! I had already ordered a couple things online, and realized later that I was too ignorant to know that I didn't know what the heck I was doing. John helped me figure out how to make some of the things I had work, and some items I returned & they got me replacements for. There was one vendor that had a delay in our (unusual) choice of finish on our shower fixtures, John kept me updated, and kept after the vendor so our timeline wasn't affected. Let me tell you something... these guys know their shit about plumbing, faucets, handles and other water delivering fixtures. Not only do they have a great showroom with quality equipment on display, but their ability to discern the type of item that is needed is almost "rain man' like. Example: I had to replace two valve stems from our jacuzzi tub that was installed 20 years ago. Good luck finding those! This is going to be a pain in my ass! No one will have these valve stems and I'll have to get a plumber to rip out the side of the wall to do a redo on the pipes. Double pain in my ass! Well, I took a picture of the valve and brought the photo in to The Bath Co. The fellow there immediately goes, "that's the Illudium PU36 Explosive Space Modulator (or something like that). The original company stopped making it but this other company makes a facsimile. I'll check in the back." 2 minutes later I have my valves and all from a grainy photo of valves from 20 years ago. This guy should be counting cards in Vegas! At any rate, this place delivers and makes plumbing less a pain in my ass. read more

Yesterday, as a test we went to The Bath Company for a small item just to see how we would be received. We were not impressed with the clerk who was not helpful and seemed to put us down, repeatedly stated they were a high end company. Well.....that's why we started there in the first place but his disinterest in selling us just a shower head told us that we would not be dealing further with The Bath Company. The showroom is massive and has all of the goodies on display. They have been in the same shopping center for almost 30 years. A true #1 local business. Unfortunately we've never been inside to actually see what they have because every time we show up on a Saturday, they are closed. Today was our THIRD TIME driving up to see their showroom. Even within their store hours, they were closed. For some reason they are closed the ENTIRE weekend in observance of "Labor Day". Last weekend they were closed when we arrived, and I'm not even sure why. Looking through the windows, it seems like they have great stuff. But if their unreliable hours are an indication of their service, we will be going up the street to Ferguson. read more

My wife and I visited their store in Mission Viejo and we were totally dismissed. We stood in the store for a very long time without being addressed. I can't say if they presumed because we were two women that we did not somehow deserve their attention.
