As a patient you have a right to a list from that case manager of possible places as it relates to your Insurance- You or your family can research and then packets requesting a bed are sent to those places- This is informed decision making. My sister was never given a list after asking multiple times and was told they only had "1 star" so the case manager said she took them off the list. It isn't up to her. I research places on multiple venues including licensing deficicencies not just google and Yelp- She had no right to make that decision for my sister and not give her time to research places. I say this because you don't know what you don't know. Because a friend of the case manager is trying to fill beds is unethical practice. My sister ended up in a room at Ellis in Norwood which is not a good facility to be in. (Read Ellis Review and see pics) My sister observed what appears to be maybe black mold and an awful unidentifiable smell (maybe the mold) and multiple infection control concerns. I saw the pictures and agree. Now we are trying to get her discharged out to places we had time to research. I left a message on the complaint line at BIDN, I hope it doesn't get swept under the rug or erased and their practices put the patient first. This is an unethical practice by the Case Manager and against my sister's patients rights to be part of her planning. I don't think this facility treats patients as a whole. There were some wonderful nurses caring for my sister and an excellent surgeon.

This is a good location if you need labs done on a holiday or weekend. Or just a couple miles from the pike. Limited parking at the entrance for handicap and some charging spots. Usually those are taken so you have to go to the lower parking spot and walk up a ton of stairs. There's also the option to valet which is $12 or only $4 if you have a handicap placard. To get to the lab/imaging location, when entering turn right after the check-in station, then go straight to the end of the hall and then left. You'll see a wooden desk on your right to check in. There's a small waiting room there, but also a larger room across the hall. They're not a lot of phlebotomy stalls, but they move pretty quickly. Staff are friendly and efficient. This is a good option for getting labs vs driving into Boston.

I thought it was best to commend and recognize the NEB for their outstanding staff, professionalism, and overall attention to detail to their patents needs and care. I went in for a procedure- a lumbar epidural and I had immediate positive results! Truly amazing- I am blown away and I am relishing my near pain free body and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Dana Zalkind and her nursing team. The nearly new facility, right off I-95 in Dedham, is squeaky clean, modern, and has all the modern technology. I hope that I do not have to return in the future, but if I do, I will know that I will be in fantastic hands and with very skilled professionals that care.

I did not know they rotate out doctors. In comes this Anne Marie Anosropoulos. She sees my mom for all of ten minutes and declines the precedure We did everything needed to get her to do the caf . Come Monday. They switch to another doctor. They are now saying no. They said they were bringing in a third party for independent review. That was bullshit . We have waited all day and exhausted. They rotate doctors so you are not talking to the one following her the first week. This place is more running around with these young people and put zero care into the patients. She had no history or knowledge or anything. My mom didn't have an iv. At the end of the day she comes in and asks. I said why. Where were you all all day ? She than proscribed nausea medicine that could cause another heart I code r. I asked her to out in place dnr. It still haven't been done. I'm not happy. We wasted all last week. Parking was available. But... yes the check in woman rudely barked at me my name and date of birth to register. Do they measure them on time taken or something, they are always so... rushed? The doctor I saw really needs to work on her bedside manner. I feel she was trying to put me at ease but it came off dismissive and minimizing of my problem. I won't be back to her as I don't trust she will take the issue seriously. Why are you a doctor if you don't want to be bothered with medical problems? I will give Atrius credit... usually lately they have been sending around after visit survey's and I have been filling them out. I look forward to this one. It just seems like it is a larger problem within the profession of health care workers losing empathy once they are in the medical profession for too long. I just had massive swelling on my neck - an obvious active and progressing infection...and the infection made my body feel like I had a bad flu, and also had pain across whole gumline on lower teeth. Milton Hospital is my go-to for ER. Drove myself in, parking right by door. Brought right in, only person in waiting room, triaged right away, tested for covid, put in a bed, given meds right away to quell the pain and made very comfortable. I was afraid and worried, but my nurse was so kind sweet and attentive that I was able to relax, put my headphones on and watched tv on my phone while CT scan with contrast was arranged. I was told I was going to be admitted, but eventually found out that prior jaw surgery complete with bone graft made it necessary to transfer me via ambulance to Beth Israel Boston where Maxillofacial Surgeons from B.U. would treat me. Logistically I was slightly irked that I hadnt been told I was going into boston as I had only prepared to be away from home for 2 days, 3 max, but no stars off for that because it was the right thing to do, just could have been told sooner is all. Tx to ambulance team was exemplary. I had to leave my car 4+ days (through 2 snowstorms) and there was no problem with that. Besides the obvious progressing infection, my main stress was to get pain control, and secondary stress was going into an ER in "covid" pandemic... Milton Hospital ER gets an A++ on all of that. My treatment was of the highest standards, and the covid precautions made the visit a 0 stress from that perspective from the moment i entered the emergency room. What a gem to have this level of care in my community!!
