I was told one price for my car and when I went to sign they then told me a different price. I said I couldn't afford that, I could only afford the first price I was told but they didn't care. What bothered me more was the fact that the sales rep who was helping me didn't even tell me the new price she had a manager tell me. Then when I was leaving, she walked by me and didn't say a word to me. Now that I was no longer a sale to her she could care less about me. So rude. Reviewing for the service department, I haven't had any experience with sales. I've had several repairs performed to my 10 year old Mazda 3 here. Shout-out to Mike Caesar: My most recent problem was difficult to diagnose and the work began with an expensive repair that did not fix my check engine light problem. When I called to say the light had come back on after a couple days and I was frustrated to have paid $800 and not have the problem fixed, Mike was very patient. He took my car back immediately, gave me a loaner, and started from the beginning. In the end they reinstalled the new part they had replaced previously just to make sure it was done right and replaced a couple small parts to make sure they weren't causing the problem. They kept the car for a couple days and drove it a good distance to make sure the light would not come back on. Meanwhile, I got to drive a brand new Mazda 3. There was no additional charge when I picked my car up the second time, even with the new replacement parts. I was fully expecting the follow up visit to cost me more, but Mike made sure I felt I received what I paid for the first time. Ain't no dealer visit cheap, so I only go when I can't fix something myself and I want someone who knows my car better than the average mechanic. But when you need a dealer's expertise servicing your Mazda, go here. I live very close to Sussman but, in my experience, the service staff at Faulkner is worth the trip. My buddy with a Miata and a Mazda 6 thinks so, too. read more

Although it isn't a Mazda, it is exactly what I was looking for; I'm a Chevy kind of girl even though my first car was a Mazda ;-) However, the employees in the service department aren't as friendly as the employees in sales; they were not welcoming or friendly at all. Felt like the only client they had to take care of from the first call I made to report an issue with my two year old CX5. Mike Ceasar was my service rep and the experience was phenomenal, there was no wait for an appointment to be made, they made an accurate assessment of how long it would take to pinpoint the issue and within 15 minutes of my arrival I was already being picked up by Enterprise to use a car to run my errands for the day. Both myself and my mom bought cars from Faulkner from the same sales women. She told both of us that our vehicles were 'Sirius Ready' which normally means you call and give Sirius your VIN number and your set up. AFTER purchasing the cars we were told we would have to have Sirius installed in our cars and Faulkner wouldn't even do it! My mom needs the whole extra Sirius box i stalled into her car. I feel like some of the staff isn't paying attention to what car your actually buying and they aren't knowledgeable. I have heard other stories about Faulkner that make me question if buying my car there was the right choice. read more

I recommend working with salesperson James Justi. He was very helpful in working with my needs for a car that had not been treated with cleaning chemicals that dealers use for the usual detailing. He didnt pressure me to come in or to buy, as i was battling a bad cold at the time so it was especially appreciated. And he didnt bother me with the typical endless contacts after I saw the car and said i'd think about it. Sometimes "I'll think about it" means exactly that. I bought my first financed vehicle through Faulkner Mazda, a 2003 Protoge. I loved that car. I also really liked the gentleman that I dealt with (mind you, this was going on 4 years ago.) At that time, I had a wonderful buying experience and while I was only 20 at the time, they still got an approval for me despite being so young and limited with my credit. Not a problem. Its a shame, I was told he was no longer with them the second time I went there. The second time I purchased a Mazda 3, and it was in excellent condition. What I didn't do was my homework before I went, which I admit was my own fault. The thing that made me review this place at 2 stars is because the person I dealt with at that time was very disingenuous, they were all about the sale. I was so far underwater on this car for a long time before I fixed the problem. They also did not mention to tell me how much they were financing me for, how much they were accepting my trade in for, and a simple "are you sure?" Would have really helped. Granted I learned from that mistake, but it's insane how uncaring and unsympathetic these people are. If you're going to get your vehicle serviced at the dealer, take it somewhere else. Take it to your local mechanic, someone you trust or have been going to for a couple of years. They charge you an arm and a leg to fix things. I fixed my own headlight, and I was told it would have been upwards of $100 to do so when all I had to do was replace the bulb. I was advised not to do that either, because it would have cost me around $800 to replace the whole headlight if I broke it, which I find to be a bunch of crap. Well jokes on them, I replaced the bulb anyway and my headlight was fine. Be VERY careful with the staff here. Go over everything; your rate, how much they're giving you for an old car, make sure that everything looks good before you sign anything. Don't do what I did, and don't let them swindle you out of thousands. Also, make sure you know something NEEDS to be fixed on your vehicle before taking it to get serviced, because they will try to sell you on something you don't need. read more

I got my 2016 Mazda 3 a little less than a year ago. I was doing research online and used one of their chat forums to ask some questions. They kept in touch over email in a helpful, not overbearing way. Renee helped me with my car. I told her the price that I was looking for and she set me up with ease. I am on a 3-year lease and have no regrets! I got a service upgrade and bring my car in for free maintenance and oil changes and don't have to worry if I have any problems on the road. This is my second maintenance check and both times I've scheduled to wait on the lobby. It is comfy and accommodating. I was driving by the other day and decided to pop in to see if I could get my maintenance check without an appointment and unfortunately they were booked because it was Veterans Day and a lot of people had off but they set me up with an appointment and I asked them to check my tires since my pressure light went on and one man who worked in the service center was very nice and checked and filled my tires. The people here are nice and they have good customer service. And I love my car. read more

Faulkner Mazda Trevose,PA was straight forward from the start. Did not try to get my phone number for a call, or get me to come in to get a great deal. They simply took the specs I gave them and returned fair numbers. The best car buying experience I have had. Communicated for some time with sales rep by email. What were missing from the dealership were the pressure sales tactics and hype used by so many in the business. Came to take test drive. Salesman explained the vehicle very well and was very knowledgeable about the Mazda brand. When I did come to pick up the new car, again no pressure or hype just straightforward business. I've only had two dealings with this dealership; but, poor customer service is never excusable. My first experience with Faulkner was to track down a dealer only part. They didn't have it in stock but did ship it to my house for free, so I'd say a pretty standard retail experience. My second dealing with them this past Tuesday didn't go so well, and I never made it into their dealership. I recently experienced an ignition problem with my 04 6 series and after ruling out battery issues, came to the thought that my key may have needed to be reprogrammed. Always thinking ahead, I e-mailed their "service" department; however, much to my surprise, I was replied to almost immediately by two separate "internet sales coordinators" on welcoming me to the Mazda buying experience. Although they seemed pretty intent on helping me AKA getting a commission, I clarified that I was not looking to purchase a new vehicle; but, rather was requesting info in regards to service and would like to be directed to someone who could answer my question. It has been 48 hours and I have neither had a response from them nor somebody in their service department nor ANYBODY from Faulkner. Pretty much shows that they are in the business of servicing themselves and not the Mazda customer. read more

I just wanted to share my great experience with buying a used car, actually 2 cars with Mazda Faulkner. I bought a used 2014 mazda 3 last year and had a great experience with Jon Lucas. He was very professional and got a great deal. I unfortunately a year later was rear ended and needed another car. Being in accident is stressful enough and so is finding the right car. This time around I went to the dealership last friday and had Ravi Roopnarine help me. He showed me a car I found online. A used mazda 2016, we went for a test drive and negotiated and got a great price. Ravi was also very professional and great to negotiate with. And when I picked up my car a week later he picked me up at the train station. I told him the car dropped in price online in the last few days before I paid in full. They honored the lower price no problem. Everything was done seamlessly, I've never had a easier stress free time at a car dealership.
