Favor Braiding was a perfect experience. Regina (I hope I spelled that correctly) its extremely professional, amazing at what she does, and overall just a pleasure to be around. I am very picky about who I let touch my hair as I've heard plenty of horror stories from others' experiences. Regina was quick, light handed (I know lots of people will appreciate this), and clean. My hair is exactly how I expected. Regina also was mindful of my dry scalp and kept my scalp and hair nice and moisturized. And, during the whole experience, we were just laughing and talking. With my hair style I was in and out in under and hour. I definitely will be using Favor Braiding consistently.

Regina was super friendly and made some suggestions based on my hair. Originally I was going to have six braids with zigzags but we decided to go with the Nipsey Hussle style for a simple classic look for the event I'm going to. Glad we went with that style cause it came out fire. Highly recommend this place.

I have gone to Regina for my full weave with closure several times now and have always had an amazing experience. Regina is very talented at what she does and takes her time to ensure she does a perfect job each time. I have SEVERE alopecia and about 40% baldness from it which you would never know when I have my weave done by Regina. Due to my alopecia and having fineAsian hair my scalp is very sensitive and getting weaves done by others in the past was unbearably painful but Regina magically somehow knows how to do a strong and tight weave on me free of tons of pain. After trying a few people I Am grateful I finally found my go to for weaves here in OC so I no longer need to drive to LA. Can not recommend her more.

I feel like I was being hustled into getting the hair extension the stylist provided or she would not do my hair. I just wanted to say that to favor braiding she is just a wonderful lady. Miss Regina is a godsend! She did an excellent job creating the goddess braids that I wanted. I have fine, thin hair that can be difficult to work with, plus I brought her some truly awful synthetic hair for feeding in, and she knew exactly what to do! It was great. For the color, she said that a lighter color might not actually look the best on me and a subtle brown might be better! I was pretty down for whatever she thought looked good so I trusted the process again. Let me tell you... this subtle brown looked so good with the cut. Also, my hair? Soft as HECK. It was kinda gritty before so I was shook when I touched my hair after the appt. She chatted with me lots and also gave me space too. It was a great balance and also she answered my questions!! I always have so many questions and she answered them all for me!! Including... how to style my hair because I suck at those things. I'll take any advice and tips I can get. Price is reasonable for OC too! TLDR; I walked in with messy hair that made me look dead inside and walked out with softer dyed hair AND styling knowledge. If that isn't a win, I don't know what is.

My hair finally looks the way I had envisioned. Beyond his talent, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Before I left, he even let me know that if there was anything I'd like adjusted after living with the haircut for a few days, he'd be happy to take care of it. I came in asking for a rich brown. Instead, I left with a very noticeable red/orange band across the top of my head that doesn't blend with the rest of my hair. I never asked for red hair, and the result is nothing like what I requested. Before I left the salon, after my hair was styled, I pointed out the banding because I could tell something looked off. I was told it looked fine, so I trusted the stylist's professional judgment. Looking back, I wish my concerns had been taken more seriously. I left for a planned trip to Europe shortly after my appointment, so I wasn't able to come back immediately. However, as soon as I returned, I repeatedly tried contacting my stylist and left multiple messages. I never received a response. When I finally spoke with the salon, I expected them to stand behind their work and correct the color. Instead, I was told I would have to pay again for an all-over color to fix a result that wasn't what I had asked for in the first place. At this point, I'll likely have to go to another salon for a professional color correction. Between what I already paid here and what it will cost to fix, I'm out around $500 or more. If achieving a rich brown on my hair wasn't something they were confident they could do, I wish they had been upfront about that before starting the service. I would have appreciated that honesty far more than ending up with a color I didn't ask for and an expensive correction process.

But when the hair place is closed you can park there. Appointment is the best because this place is always booked and busy.
