My girlfriend and I drove from Ann Arbor to Fazoli's on Valentine's Day for a nice, reliable Italian dinner. What we got instead was an experience. We stood in line behind an older woman ordering enough food to survive winter. While this happened, the lone employee kept apologizing to us, running food out, coming back, apologizing again, and repeating this cycle for about 20 minutes. Honestly impressive cardio. When he finally took our order, I told him two baked lasagnas. He looked me dead in the eyes and repeated "two baked lasagnas." We shook hands spiritually. Made them combos. Pep slice. Cheese slice. Locked in. Food took a while (understandable) and arrived with another apology... and that's when we realized it was baked spaghetti. We checked the receipt which also said baked spaghetti. At some point lasagna became a concept rather than a food. Close, but legally different. We also indulged in a chocolate mushroom dessert, which I don't recommend. The taste made me cry. It made my girlfriend throw up. Despite everything, the staff was kind, the night was unforgettable, and we laughed the whole way home. 4 stars because we really wanted that lasagna. read more

I placed an order to go paid it online. Went in to get order and the person at the counter treated me like I was a thief. I gave the lady my name and what I had ordered and also had my phone out to show the order number and what I had ordered. All I ordered was plain Fettuccine Alfredo with breadsticks. She claims they get ppl coming in and taking orders they didn't pay for? I will not be back! I usually order 4 to 5 dozen breads ticks from there for events for my job at least 3 to 4 times a year. Fazolis is a great place to eat my wife and i come every chance we get, if you dine in you get unlimited breadsticks. We like it cause it is different with great food and the atmosphere with songs playing from the 60's and 70's, and the staff is always checking on you to see if you need anything. read more

Food and service is excellent always fresh and plenty of breadsticks. The only reason for the low rating is because the employees like to close the dining room early so all they have to do is wait on the drive-through customers which gives them more time to screw around before quitting time. Fazoli's in Jackson has a special place in my heart since I used to go often in high school and there isn't one near me anymore. Today, I went with my best friend from high school and it was like a mini-reunion. Not much has changed at Fazoli's and that's not a bad thing. The food is still as good as I remember. I don't know why Italian is oftentimes neither cheap nor that good. I am also surprised there isn't more fast food Italian food since it's cheap and easy to make. Fazoli's is the only fast-Italian that I know of and they do a pretty good job. The pasta is always good and the sauce is flavorful and tasty. The unlimited breadsticks isn't bad either. Sometimes it's nice to go home and get a home cooked meal. For me, Fazoli's is the same type of feeling. read more

Attempting to find a decent restaurant for lunch on a Sunday after 1:00pm can be frustrating, Lucky for us we found Fazoli! The ordering system is fast food based as you walk up to the counter place your order & pay. They give you a number then you take your seat, so needless to say nothing fancy the amount of self service though is reflected with their low prices. The self serve business model caters very to the large after church crowd several families were present in their Sunday best, when you can take 12 people out to lunch for under $10.00 a head it definitely has its appeal. Our meal wasn't great however for under$16.00 for the two of us I am not complaining. P.S. Decent food and atmosphere. The only thing that felt very awkward was interacting with the wait staff. It is supposed to feel like a sit down restaurant but you don't really get a specific waiter or waitress. So then if you need anything you have to flag somebody down and they're all very busy so it felt very awkward interrupting them. I had the ultimate sampler plate. It was a ton of food for a good price. The spaghetti and penne were too similar for me to call it a true sampler plate. If I were to go back I would do their baked spaghetti plate that was on special instead. read more

I'm going to start off by saying that the worker that took my order was incredibly friendly, just plain awesome! But, the food is just intolerable I was very hungry but I couldn't fathom the cheap taste of the sauce, I got chicken Alfredo and spaghetti. Trash. Never in my life have I gotten food from a place that RE-Heats macaroni and cheese. Mine had mold in it when trying to stir it up for eating. My wife's Panko Macaroni was nasty, noodles and crumbs, no cheese or even seasoning. We threw out my kids meals because my Beef Macaroni had mold under the cheese. Breadsticks turned out to be "Bread Sponges" soaked in garlic grease. Absolutely disgusting. Won't be visiting here again. This place once was good a long time ago. Downhill since. read more

It was actually the first time I've ever ate here and I was greeted right away by a very nice young lady with a big smile named Allori. I ordered Chicken cabonara no bacon, My order was prepared quickly and without error. The soda machine has hundreds of varities. I got bread sticks with my meal. My meal was delicious. Bread sticks were average. Not as good as Olive Garden, a bit soggy, but still not too bad, could use a bit more seasoning. But the place was very clean and there were a lot of people there because it was kids night, which is a great idea. Holy upgrade Pastaman! They gone to real plates and forks! Definitely like the new colors and stuff, better than the old old stuff. Breadsticks are still awesome as ever but they've added a lot of new choices too. Prices are still great, don't have to break the piggy bank to have the food brought to you. read more

The sampler plates are a treat to enjoy several pasta options. They are all good. The soft, warm bread sticks are the best.

Take out was "okay" today. Hubby got lasagna which he loves. I ordered a salad with chicken, bacon, cheese and romaine lettuce. Lettuce was ice burg, chicken was like jerky, bacon was rubber and there was little if any cheese. Breadsticks were good. read more

I really love coming to Fazoli's. It's quite a hike, so I don't make it out as often as I'd like. The food is good and everyone I've interacted with there has been friendly. Not for me. Even if it was a restaurant that I really liked, just from a nutritional standpoint I would not be able to eat here often. Not all, but the vast majority of entree's are very high in fat/saturated fat, sodium, cholesteral, calories, etc..... But the main reason this restaurant would not be someplace I would even occaisionally eat at is that the red sauce it uses for everything is a SWEET red sauce. Ok, I typically do not give reviews for fast food type places, however...I stumbled in to Fazoli's the other day while in Jackson. I did not have a lot of time and was tempted to stop at francize burger joint when I saw the sign. " Italian - Fast" Of course, I was skeptical. I walked in and it was clean. The counter had photo menues above. It looked like sub sandwiches, pizza and a handful of basic pasta dishes. I figured what the hell....I ordered a chicken, broccoli alfredo pasta. They gave me a cup for my water and a number on a stick for my table. It came out in less than five minutes. It was hot looked good. Even had some bacon in it...Who don't like bacon, right? Served with a couple bread sticks all for under $8. So the pasta noodels were not al dante' ...I didn't expect that anyway. The place was not pretending to be something it was not. Great for kids to have a different substiutte for typical fast food. When leaving , I even noticed it had a drive thru.. So all in all way to go. I'm a fan. read more
