Will definitely be finding a different place to meet up with friends while in town!! I literally got attacked in this resteraunt and nothing was done about it. Extremely dangerous location in the evenings, surrounded by drunks and bars. A drunk dude started a physical altercation with me and my group completely unprovoked in this location, and we got kicked out after an hour of waiting over it. I didnt even respond to the person, they just kept getting in my face and pushing me. The manager who witnessed me getting hit and pushed, STILL served the aggressor and his group after kicking mine out. I ordered carry out and my order was perfect and ready at the time I was told it would be. This Goodfellas location is smaller and located in downtown Lexington. The young man that helped me was friendly and so nice. My pizza was piping hot and he offered to carry it to my car for me. Now that is customer service! We stopped here thinking it was a sit down pizza place. It was just a small shop but the employees were really nice and great people. We decided just to take in slices. We got six pepperoni slices and the guy put them in the oven. The slices are huge. They also have breadsticks and they are super long and have an amazing taste. This place is located in downtown Lexington (it is surrounded by a street of bars so it's a nice drunkin food spot). The place had some jam band music playing which was pretty cool. They definitely had a mob theme going on. The pizza crust was warm and crisp. The pepperoni and banana peppers were a real delight on the pizza as well. read more

The Goodfellas theme is my favorite thing about this place. For just the pizza by the slice, it's not a bad option. For gourmet pizza, you will be disappointed. I just moved to Lexington from North Jersey, so my pizza standards are too high. The pizza is greasy and overpriced. I ordered a medium Vinny with sausage and mushrooms ($28 pre-tax for a 16" pizza), and was disappointed by the quality. We walked the 6 buildings back to our location to eat them. This was absolutely the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Obviously, we were given very old pizza, but paid for fresh. I was really craving a "taste of home" which is New York. I decided to stop by and get a piece of pizza then I saw the canollis and the black &white cookies (you can find black&white cookies in any bakery in New York City or the surrounding boroughs). You can NOT find black &white cookies at bakeries here in Lexington. Even though I was excited to see black&white cookies I still ended up with the canolli. Now in terms of the customer service, the guy at the counter could not have been any nicer . Spent over $500 dollars at this location for an office lunch. Upon arrival we were not greeted. When we asked about the status of the order one of the cooks barked "we still have 20 minutes." A simple, "we're still working on it" would have sufficed. Once going back in to get the order and double checking that we had gotten everything the same guy didn't look up to answer.
