We dined here for lunch and everything about our visit was awful. We were greeted by the hostess who had her mouth full of food. Our waitress was very inattentive. She spent most of her time standing around with other waitresses talking. We were seated as far from the kitchen as you could be and she was so loud yelling that we could hear every word. There was a small child sitting at a table alone that the wait staff kept checking on. Not sure if this was an employee's child that they brought to work with them. As we were about to eat, the hostess seated a man and his dog across from us. It was not a service dog. As the waitresses surrounded the puppy the owner explained it was 8 weeks old and he just got it yesterday. He sat the dog in the chair, on the table, and walked it across the restaurant, in which the wait staff pet it then went back to waiting tables. Our waitress then sat at the table with the child (close to the hostess podium) and other waitresses and yelled across the restaurant to the kitchen to order herself an Italian salad. The food was awful. We ordered the chicken parm and mezalluna. The chicken was beaten paper thin and the pasta was room temp and flavorless. We added the spices they bring for the bread to the dishes in an attempt to add some flavor. $50 for water, two entrees, and a very disappointing lunch service. Based on our dining experience, we do not recommend this restaurant and will not return. read more

I wish we had a Carrabba's close by. But since we travel to Tennessee and Georgia a lot, we frequent this location. I lived in the area in the early 2000's and fell in love with Carrabba's while living there. Was always packed. Fast forward to now... it's never been what I would even call close to busy when we've gone. I'm not sure why. Our service has always been excellent and we have enjoyed our meals in a quiet atmosphere. Perfect. We. Love. Their. Chicken. Marsala! Their Caesar salad is our favorite. The bread is great, but that Chicken Marsala never misses. Great meal for a decent price. read more

The food was ok. Service on the other hand was very slow and uncalled for. Our waitress was in the kitchen with other waitresses joking and laughing so loud you could hear the entire conversation without them leaving to wait tables. This was annoying but on top of that our hostess greated us with a mouth full of food where she could barely speak. Then let's throw on top of that a short blonde older waitress invited a man to set at the table across from us who brought in an 8 week old husky type dog who sat and ate at the table. Not a service dog. I don't think we will ever be back. read more

We had a birthday dinner with a reservation. We got there ok, we waited 15 minutes for a waitress. My wife had to hunt someone down to help us. Another 10 minutes to get water and tea. Runner couldn't understand unsweetened tea. 20 minutes later, we order 2 apps. Those came out ok. Dinner came out 45 minutes later. The Pollo Rosa Maria was terrible. At that point I scraped the sauce off of it. They lost one order. 25 minutes and 3 requests for the check. Terrible service. No one gave a crap. Someone came over to offer a free appetizer, we just needed a normal dinner seevice. read more

Ordered pistachio Trout with Broccoli. Asked for broccoli to aldente (crunchy) but it came cooked to mush. Trout was excellent though it does have lots of bones. Service was very average. Mistake in one order. Food not brought out at same time. Employ water glasses. Not what I have experienced in the past at Carrara's. read more

Carrabbas is a great restaurant for Italian. They are close to the house and always wonderful when I've been to the Hamburg location. The staff is very friendly and always letting us know if any special deals they are running such as their take home pasta deals for $10 with entree purchase. Don't sleep on that deal! I love getting their lasagna. It has fresh chopped basil throughout the layers making it very flavorful and fresh. I also love the pasta positano. The fettuccine is also great but keep in mind they use an egg noodle. It changes the flavor profile of typical fettuccine you may be used to. I'd highly recommend trying Carrabbas on your next night out. You won't be disappointed! read more

From the time we walked in the door to the time, we walked out the door was 100% great! The service we had was with a friendly waitress and very cheerful! Food came out nice and ready to eat! Yummy! Was really excited to try Carrabba's for the first time after always enjoying Italian cuisine, unfortunately it left MUCH to be desired. We came on a Friday night expecting it be busy,it was not but it was snowing. But still very surprised the dining area was barely a quarter full, and the service was very slow and awkward. We waited a long time for a server to even acknowledge us then, soups and entrees came out slow. The staff was arguing quite loud and near dining area which was awkward for us and not a pleasant dining experience. The fresh bread was good n warm at least to start. The food was just fine but nothing amazing we both ordered ravioli entrees and got soups. The soup was ok, mainly noodles. We kinda rushed to finish and got Togo boxes bc the place died fast, they turned the music off and turned up the lights. Really killed the mood, and felt like we were being kicked out tbh, very awkward. Probably wouldn't return , mainly other more hospitable and better tasting Italian restaurants out there. Unfortunately this place is only a 2 star at best based on how disappointed we were overall with the service and everything. read more

I had dinner with 2 other people--their food was to their liking, but mine was too salty. I ordered the salmon. It was too salty & the pesto tomato sauce was even saltier. Our server did just the minimum--no follow-up after the food came. when we asked for a to-go box at the beginning of the meal, we were told he would bring it with the check. we reiterated that we wanted it beforehand. He seemed miffed. After the meal he showed up with the check. We were planning to order dessert & coffee, but we decided to leave as neither he nor Carrabbas deserved our time or money. read more

We were in on a very quiet Tuesday night. Our service was outstanding! My hubby almost always gets the Linguine Positano with chicken. This night he said that the dish was even better than usual. He all but licked the plate. I ventured away from my usual meatball appetizer which I think is the perfect size when I steal the hubby's salad. Tonight I got the single pork chop meal with a salad, broccoli and mashed potato. This is a place that asked you about the doneness of your pork, I usually go well done with pork. This pork chop is very well seasoned and almost looked too pretty to eat with perfect grill marks. But I ate it! I really like their broccoli it is very well cooked and well seasoned. I like the mashed potatoes, they have a bit of peel mixed in. It was so much food I got 2 meals out of it. Note: This location has really good car side to go. Call in your order, drive up out back and they will bring your perfectly packaged food and drinks right out to your car. This is great if you don't want to go in and sit around. read more

Carrabba's at 1881 Plaudet Place in Lexington. We came from upstate NY to Lexingotn to attend Breyerfest. I have never had a better dinner than when we went here during Breyerfest. My 8 yr old daughter was so thrilled she gave the waitress her own personal tip. Even though it was on 25 cents, she was so proud to give it to her. The Espresso Martini was absolutely delicious and the Tomato Caprese with Fresh Burrata was something new to try and it was great on the bread that came with the meal. Personally I had the Mezzaluna, something I had never had before. I thought I was in paradise. I couldn't have had anyone make a better meal. Even my 8 yr old, who eats like a bird, ate EVERYTHING on her plate and then asked for dessert to take home. My husband had the Tuscan Grilled Filet and he couldn't even finish it all. The only thing was I think we got 2 Tiramisu instead of 1 of them and 1 chocolate dream. The 8 yr old was dissapointed then next day because she really was looking forward to the chocolate dream. Ther restaurant itself was clean and even though there were other kids there, it wasn't really noisy. We all had a great time and since it wasn't extremely busy, the waitress actually conversed with us. I have to give them a 20 out of 10 because I will never forget the food, the servce or thedeliciousness of it all. read more

Very over rated. Food was fair however I expected more based on the prices. Sauce was not fresh, and the lasagna noodles were dried out.

Normally I have had generally good experiences at this location, but unfortunately today was not one of them. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup. After eating several bites, I came across whole bones in the soup. I've included a picture below. When our waitress came back, I requested that the item be removed from our bill and I declined a replacement. Soon after, a manager named Zach came out to apologize for the inconvenience. He seemed unconcerned that bones were being served, which could have easily been swallowed if broken into smaller pieces, and tried to explain to me (as if I were a child) that their soup is "made daily from scratch", which was extremely condescending in itself. I make soup from scratch quite often and I've never had an issue with bones in it - let alone whole bones. It isn't difficult to use a strainer and if a home cook can do it, so can a national chain restaurant. I would advise future patrons to closely check their soup before consuming as they do not seem concerned in their kitchen about such an issue. read more

Service was superb, food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!! They nailed it all around. I am super impressed. Carabbas is my favorite Italian restaurant. It's a chain, but I still love it. They hands down have theeeee best fettuccine Alfredo on the planet... well, idk about the planet, but I haven't had any to top it... maybe if I ever go to Italy, I will change my tune, but until then, everyone knows that if it's my special day, imma choose Carrabba's every time... I've tried so many things here, and i don't think I've gotten anything I didn't like. Of course, even if I just soup and salad, the soups never disappoint. My husband's go to is the Tuscan grilled chicken with chicken noodle soup and pormadora. They no longer do pizza, so don't expect that on the menu I love trying some of their specials, but my go to is the chicken parm. Tho I'm always trying something else on the menu. read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but I've had two bad experiences here. The first time I went I was with my family. They wanted to seat us at a booth, but my dad has a very hard time getting in and out of booths, he's 72 and walks with a cane. I asked for a table and I got an eye roll from the people that seat you, of course they were teenagers. Everything after that was ok. Tonight was the second try. Me, my son, daughter in law and grandbaby walked in, only one family was waiting. They got seated and the greeters came back up front, talked to each other and did not acknowledge we were standing there waiting to be seated. Once again, teenagers. Do these kids not know how to communicate? The place wasn't busy. I will never go back read more
