I find myself genuinely conflicted when writing this review. On one hand, the food was exactly what you would hope for from a fast-casual Italian restaurant. It arrived quickly, was fresh, flavorful, and prepared well. From a food standpoint, there is very little to criticize. Unfortunately, dining out is about more than the food. Throughout our visit, employees in the back of the house made audible comments about customers coming in before closing. Their remarks could be heard clearly throughout the dining room and left little doubt that our presence was viewed as an inconvenience. While I could have easily brushed those comments off, the situation affected my young daughter, who had been excited all day to go out to dinner with her dad. Watching that excitement turn into disappointment was genuinely upsetting. What made the experience even more disappointing was that we were not the only customers subjected to it. A couple who came in after us ultimately chose to eat outside after hearing the comments, and a group of softball players arrived shortly afterward as well. This is Fazoli's, a quick-service restaurant, not a fine-dining establishment where guests linger for hours. We ordered, enjoyed our meal, cleaned up after ourselves, and were out the door by 9:20 p.m.--a full 40 minutes before closing. We did not create extra work, make unusual requests, or interfere with the staff's closing routine in any way. As a customer, it is difficult to understand what offense was committed by simply dining during posted business hours. Restaurants have every right to establish their operating schedule, but guests should never be made to feel unwelcome for patronizing a business while it is still open. The unfortunate reality is that the food was good. Had the experience been judged solely on what was served, this review would look very different. Instead, what should have been a simple father-daughter dinner became an evening overshadowed by an atmosphere that made customers feel like a burden rather than welcomed guests. If you're considering a late-evening visit, particularly after 9 p.m. on a weekend, I would recommend ordering takeout or choosing another option. Wait! 5 Stars for a chain, small town fast food place, that specializes in quickie Italian food and frozen yogurt? Yes, and here's why. Fazoli's in Morehead is a prime example of an eatery that excels within its market niche, by providing good food at an excellent price, in an exceptionally clean and pleasant environment, with service by an always friendly and efficient staff. Although open until 10:00 PM, I have only lunched at Fazoli's, or enjoyed an afternoon yogurt. Today I had my go-to $5 lunch special, lasagna and salad. Although not shown in the pic, lunch is accompanied with unlimited breadsticks, which have always been warm and fresh. Other pasta choices are also available with the special deal, to go along with other modestly priced wraps and larger entrees. A wide assortment of soft drinks, along with excellent iced tea, is conveniently self served. Bottom line? Good food, low prices, excellent service, pleasant kid-friendly surroundings, great wi-fi, a business that is a well recognized contributor to the local community - 5 Stars! read more

Got the $6.99 lunch. Pizza was heavy, greasy, and nasty, barely gave me any penne with marinara, it was like a kids size portion but even a kid would still be hungry after eating that. Charged me $8.17. Did not get my money's worth and was extremely disappointed. Do better Fazoli's. smh. read more

I visited here while a visit to Morehead. My daughter lives here and had a quick lunch break from work and we met her here. I was excited about the offer on the window for lunch for $5, two items pasta, soup, salad and includes breadsticks and a drink. The salad was a decent size and so was the soup. My son ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce and salad. My daughter ordered the three cheese tortellini and her meal came with a pizza slice. The service was super friendly and fast, very different from other Fazoli's I have been to. The decor was much nicer too! This is located in a strip mall near the downtown area of Morehead. They also have a coke freestyle machine so you can customize your drink options. The inside was super clean and they had lots of employees around to wipe down tables, check on us and offer more bread. read more

When my wife, kids and I arrived there was a bus in the parking and yes, some visiting team and their road crew were all eating at Fazoli's. The DR was a mess, there wasn't a clean table in the place and I nearly turned around and went back to the car. Despite my first inclination, we went through line and the girl at the register was both friendly and helpful, the manager cleaned off a table for us and apologized for their mess, finally, the food arrived very quickly and every bit of it was hot and delicious! During our meal the rest of the tables emptied of their customers and the crew worked together to make sure the dining room was clean and ready for their typical Friday night crowd. Ok, here's the deal. I rated it 5 stars because it's a very nice resturaunt, all the employees were extremely friendly, the food was great, and even though it was quite busy, we got our food in a reasonable time. Here is where the problems begin. First, I must say that I still gave it 5 stars because I doubt this would deduct stars from the views of most people, but there are just some things I expect when I go to fazolis. 1. Every since I was a child, when I go to fazolis, I have always taken advantage of the unlimited breadsticks. We used to even have competitons to see who could eat the most breadsticks after they ate their meal (I always won). At every other fazolis I've been to, breadsticks are offered very often and I have never had any trouble getting as many as I desire. This was not the case at this establishment. I had to ask multiple times to get breadsticks and on my last visit, when they brought them around, all they had left were 3 and I had to share those with another person. The employee who brought them around was extremely friendly and said they would bring more soon, but alas, no more breadsticks ever came for the rest of the visit. 2. They have a coke freestyle machine, which is great and I have never gotten anything where the any of the flavors were out, so +1 for that. The problem lies in the fact that there is only one machine for the whole resturaunt and every time I have been, the resturaunt has been very busy and there has always been a backed up line at the coke freestyle machine. 3. At every other fazolis I have been to, if you have to wait longer than normal, they will offer you a free cookie. I don't know about you, but waiting a long time for your food or even just to order your food can be very frustrating and one of the things I love about fazolis is that they ease your frustration with a free cookie. I have waited a long time multiple times and have never been offered anything for my wait. Conclusion: Great establishment. Extremely friendly staff. Great food. Needs to offer breadsticks more often. Still 5 stars in general because most people don't care about the breadsticks that much read more

Typically when I visit Fazoli's I have a pleasant time, but not my last visit. Being a fast food worker myself, I know what it is like to have a customer 3 minutes before closing; however I didn't know Fazoli's closed at 9PM and not 10PM. As I ordered my food the cashier was very rude and I apologized to her for coming in so late because I wasn't aware of the store hours. The cashier responded with "OK" in a very rude voice and didn't even tell me to have a nice day or thank you when I left. If I was the manager at Fazoli's I'd be finding employees with manners instead of worrying about closing early. read more
