Only downside ,their salads are pre-made so it may have things that you might not care for, like mozzarella. Haven't been to a Fazoli's since I was a young person living in Waco! Didn't even know they were still around. I vaguely remembered I really enjoyed it and figured I'd give it a try. Magnificent!! The Kid at register tried to serve me a salad that was brown and wilted, when I brought it up to the kid he went back and brought me out another salad (pictured) saying this is how salads look and there's nothing wrong with the brown and wilt that it's because the salads come frozen. Really felt like having pasta, and remembered how much we liked Fazolis When we got take out before. Ordered two baked spaghetti's, as combos. One with salad. One with cheese pizza. Very unorganized employees. Took forever for someone to take my order, and when we started to eat. Was not in the least tasty. Very dry spaghetti, with some melted cheese. So just had it for the first time and truth be told never again ... I ordered the Chicken Alfredo they brought it out and it was extremely watery almost like a chicken Alfredo soup. Decided to stop for lunch with my husband since we work nearby. We both got the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce and upgraded with a soda and a piece of pizza. Food was hot and plenty. Found out they had a Fazolis here as I was visiting SA. Had fazolis a while back when they still had one in WI. I was expecting the same quality but I feel like it different now taste wise. On our way to Louisiana for a friend's wedding, we planned our trip to give us an opportunity to stop here at Fazoli's since we no longer have them in AZ. I was a little surprised to find it attached to a travel center, but the restaurant was very clean when we walked in. We ordered and didn't have long to wait for our food. It was every bit as good as we remembered. The bread sticks were soft, fresh and flavorful ( and if you dine in, you can have as many as you want while you are there ). We had orders of chicken fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti, and pizza. The portions are huge, the food very tasty and fresh, and the whole experience was wonderful. If you are feeding kids, the portions are definitely shareable. (Now if we can only convince Fazoli's to come back to Phoenix we'd be set!) read more

I absolutely love Fazolis!!! I lived in north texas and they have this faster food Italian place all over. This one doesn't have a drive through but it's worth a stop!!! They have really delicious food and great prices. We got a family meal and it comes with two pasta dishes choices. We got spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo. It also comes with a family size salad, we got Caesar. We got 8 breadsticks and it's a lot of food!! All for $26.00 It's a really good deal. They have salads and tons of Italian options !! Let me start off by saying we drove from the Dominion (30 miles) to go to this Fazolis lol. We were excited that San Antonio finally opened one, I mean those breadsticks! This location is connected to a truck stop so I didn't know what to expect as we walked in. The dining area was clean and welcoming. After placing our order, the food was delivered promptly by the manager, Latisha (I believe) who offered us freshly grated parmigiana cheese. I don't know if this is the normal procedure at Fazoils however I don't recall ever being offered cheese on any prior visits to other locations- it was a nice touch. The food was delivered at perfect temperature and amazing as always. Latisha (I hope that's her name) checked on us two or three times by offering hot breadsticks and clearing our plates. For a second I thought I was at Chick-fil-a or even an Italian sit down restaurant with a server. I previously worked in hospitality and managed a restaurant for over 10 years, so service and attention to detail jump out at me. Pasta was somehow greasy (?) when it arrived to our table. Pizza slices took 40 minutes to get to us (?) when all they were was pre-made looking slices that had been run thru the oven-you can tell because the cut crust edges were crispy like they'd been cut way before hitting the oven. Good thing my teenage son will eat almost anything after waiting that long for it. Breadsticks were pretty much the only item in our order that we actually found tasty. Cashier & server was great, bless his heart, he was working his butt off. But the cooks & whoever else was "working" definitely didn't give a crap. The server even told us that one of the cooks "is pissed off, so I'm not guaranteeing that he'll put your sauce to the side even though I put it on the ticket". Sure enough, my alfredo came to the table with sauce on it, and chicken (which was not ordered nor paid for!). Sent it back only to get the greasy half-warm plain pasta back with a little cup of sauce on the side. I felt bad having to ask for every little thing from the guy who was actually busy doing his job (like some salt, and some cheese to sprinkle on the nasty pasta) but since they haven't gone back to having those items on the table, it was necessary to ask for it & it be brought to our table by the server. read more

Had the smoky chicken carbonara. It was burning hot, had a GENEROUS amount of chicken and veggies. Plenty of sauce, and lots of melted cheese on top. I didn't feel like they were trying to "fill me up on pasta" if you know what I mean. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the chicken was seasoned well. There really isn't anything quite like it, quality, affordable, Fast Food Italian. I'm a big fan of the baked spaghetti, and the bread sticks are pretty great. This was my first time going here. Its like a fast food Italian resturant. I got spaghetti with Spicy tomatoe sauce. It was realllllllly good. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because I needed a bigger portion. I would have like more! The bread sticks were soft and good too. I got the side salad with house dressing.
